IHOP

Not really sure about all the complaints and poor reviews. This seemed like a typical IHOP as far as good and service, which is almost always great and keeps me going back to IHOPs all over the place. They always hook me in with whatever their current special is and this time it was the cupcake pancakes!
Absolutely unreal how sweet and awesome those things were! Glad I got them later in the evening as it is almost like a desert rather than breakfast, but either way they are great.
Staff was friendly, attentive, and my order came out in no time.
The one thing that seriously set this IHOP apart from others I’ve been to was the outdoor seating. Never seen that before and if it was a little warmer out I would have loved to have sat outside.

I stopped here while on a road trip down the eastern coast. The place is conveniently situated off of the highway. The service was a bit slow. However the food tasted fantastic. It was definitely worth the wait.

Came right after in — no wait Saturday 9 am.

Got 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1 sausage, one ham & buttermilk pancake. All very good.

They seat you at very tiny tables and put all of this stuff and papers on it. Waffle House food tastes better. Orange juice and apple juice was hot. Our server was overly hyper and extremely loud. She came by our table way too much, of course until time for the check which we had to sit and wait on.

Came on a Friday at 11– so there wasn’t any wait… But something about IHOP is there always seems to be anywhere between fifty and fife hundred people in the entrance waiting to be sat. Everyone was seated quickly.
Veronica is the best waitress! She is friendly and kept our drinks refilled. Great service. She would get five stars.
Giving the review 4 stars (3 for the meal and an extra for the service) because the food is IHOP food. So. Not terrible but not the best either. Since it’s fall– they have good seasonal menu items including pumpkin pancakes and waffles, toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, and pumpkin coffee… So now’s the best season to go!

Do not come here on Veterans Day. They do not honor Veterans. Last year on Veterans Day the Veterans were put to the back of the line so they could seat the breakfast regulars. The only reason they offer a free meal is they know a veteran will come in with a larger party for a meal.

To begin with we had a group of 8 ppl and the staff proceed to sit another group ahead of us and when we spoke to the server we were given a rude response with out any apology. Fofit took over 45 min to get our food and when we do the food was clearly sitting under a lamp for the last 20 min. Once we got our food almost all of our orders were slightly wrong. And the attitude that he gave us was Un called for.

Hit this IHOP this weekend… What can I say they really screwed up our order, ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and
sour dough toast. Got fried eggs, link sausage, biscuits & gravy, they got the hash browns right. This was after returning the first delivery which was French toast & ham! Didn’t have the time to try for a third bid so took it. Eggs were cold, hash browns had a nice chill on them too. Didn’t try the gravy, it looked like it had clotted. Apologies were prolific but breakfast was a dud.

We stopped in on a Sunday morning, around 9:00AM, right as the breakfast rush was starting. They were more than half full at the time and greeted and sat us immediately. They promptly waited on us, Service with a Smile :)
Wait staff was very friendly and the food was cooked to order and tasted great.
IHOP really does a very nice job with breakfasts and lunches, so we tend to like them when we’re in a hurry for something consistent.

Food was ok on previous visits but today we arrived and they said there was no wait I walked outside to tell my husband and children (one of who is a medically fragile infant) and a few other parties came in while we were getting her out. When we got back in the hostess had started a list. We then waited 20 minutes and had several others seated before us. When I inquired she said ok let me find out another women (who had walked up after U.S.) came up and they, in front of me, sat her first. We left and will never return. Traveling with a fragile child is hard enough to be treated like this was just unfair. We did come one other time and they told us we could bring her stroller in even though she had medical equipment. Seems they need a lesson in accommodations!

Good location by I95 highway. At first I was intimidated by seeing so many people waiting inside & outside. I signed in & was told 20 minute wait and it actually took 15 minutes (it wasn’t that long). After ordering the food came in fast & I enjoyed it. I recommend it.

Slow, I hop used to be a place for fast friendly service. Not any mor, nothing like being stuffed in a corner and waiting for food. I have a seven year old and you can only ask a kid to behave for so long. Our server was slightly annoying fur to him insisting we get scrambled eggs when we all like fried. It has been 30 minutes still no food and I keep seeing our server outside. No this is the very final time for ihop until we see better reviews. Okay now to top it off we got our food and it was lukewarm at best they better get new food out fast. The plates were dirty and my sons plate had a crack it it. Okay got food finally then a bill of over $ 50 uh no.

The waiting service was HORRIBLE and the food was cold the whole trip was a waste of time we should have gone to apple bees instead the waitress blamed the kitchen for her doings

Chocolate chocolate chip pancakes didn’t have chocolate chips. Water tasted like dirt. Iced vanilla coffee tasted like cough syrup. Service was slow, but it was Sunday (late) morning.
For the most part, employees were friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor area.
But probably the most disappointing IHOP I have been to.

I stopped in to this IHOP with my boyfriend on 4÷24÷15 on my way down to VA Beach to celebrate our first anniversary — we usually use Unilocal to help us find new places with good food, but we were on the road and figured IHOP is always a good basic stand-​in. The first thing that was kinda iffy is that our coffee carafe was only half filled… There was enough in it for both of us to fill our mug once and then we had to flag down our waitress for more coffee (she didn’t notice we had unscrewed the top and flipped it to indicate its emptiness). That was really no big deal because we had more coffee soon enough. The biggest problem was the food! First, it was served lukewarm, and took a little longer to come to the table than is usual for IHOP. Secondly, and really the major problem, I ordered a omelette with hollandaise sauce and it was served without it. I requested the sauce and when they brought it out it was the most disgusting looking thing ever. It had broken and it would’ve been better if they had just told me they were out. My face showed my disgust and the manager was right there and didn’t come over at all to see what was the matter. I only ate a couple of bites of my omelette because without the sauce it wasn’t the same, and frankly the sauce they had the nerve to serve ruined my appetite.

Never in my life was treated like this. Upon arrival we were moved to an area were there were only hispanics and african americans. Is there an specific reason for this? That the waitress was hispanic? Seriously! Food isn’t bad in comparison to others, but this was not expected.

I think its time to stop coming here. The food keeps getting worse and the service its so slow.

Not certain how they have 3.5 stars. Not even worth a full star. Partial orders received, longer than average wait time for food, complete chaos.

Like all the IHOP’s I’ve ever been too, this location is ALWAYS crowded. The bonus is, we never have to wait for a seat because they have ample amount of tables. They even have seating outside of the restaurant. It’s located in Fredericksburg and easily accessible right off of I-​95. It’s near several of the hotels in this area, as well as tons of stores and other restaurants. It’s always clean and the service is usually very friendly.
Our order came out rather quickly and as usual, everything was delicious. No complaints, hey, it’s IHOP. No thrills and no frills.

IHOP stands for International House of Pancakes… Yes pancakes! They sell breakfast… lunch…and dinner… but I’ve only had breakfast there… Its good… but I’m not like in love with it… because I don’t really like mediocre foods…

Food was pretty good… didn’t wait long for the food to come out… haven’t ate anything all day so ate everything in a heart beat!

one of the worst customer service I have ever received at a I hop… while i was dining here I’ve asked my server if she had a moment could she get me a refill … she just flat out copped an attitude at me and instantly turned red! Wow seriously…
Tips:
but they do have pretty good pancakes… So if you really want to come try it… go for it!
