Bob Evans Restaurant

These guys are right off the exit of I95 and they close at 9pm. Breakfast anytime unless you are traveling after dark. :-/

I came here on Veteran’s Day. It was super packed, but being that I was by myself since my girls were in school; I ordered mine to go. I know I was getting a free meal and didn’t have to buy anything, but the gentleman at the register was so friendly and helpful. I ended up getting some m&m cookies too to take back home for my daughters. I was in there for a about 10 – 15 minutes. If everyone in the restaurant has the same attitude as the gentleman at the register, I will definitely come again with my daughters to dine in.

Great food. Friendly service. Can’t miss. Our favorite is breakfast here. But lunch and dinner, we do to go, is always consistently great!
The service is so friendly, just like mom.
Recommend for a great family meal.

The breakfast service and food was terrific as long as you are not a coffee snob. Strawberry crepes were fresh n delish.

We ate here tonight and we’re very disappointed in the service. The waitress was very rude to us. She seemed nice to other people but she was short with us. We thanked her for every service she performed and got no you’re welcome or any response really. She was rushing us as soon as we sat down she was down our throats about drink orders. No introducing herself just straight to drinks and acting as if we were wasting her time. She gets 0 stars. The 2 stars are for the food. This is not the friendly service we usually receive from Bob Evans team. We still gave her a tip but had her attitude been better she would have definitely gotten better.

Very skeptical going in after reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised service was great sat right down waitress took our order had our food in front of us in maybe ten minutes tops and had no complaints about the quality either. Maybe they are getting better after some bad reviews or others just had bad luck but bottom line I would send others in without worrying that they wouldn’t be satisfied completely two thumbs up disregard the comments about poor service in my opinion if you want food faster go somewhere with a drive thru.

I’m sitting here with my wife. It is now 1245pm on 12÷28÷14. We have been waiting for our food for 35 minutes. They brought out the wrong stuff. Sent it back and now waiting again. Food was cold as well. No refills unless we asked and attitude with everything.
We had nine tables sit after us. All received food after us. And the ironic thing is that all the tables were seniors. I’m guessing the older you are the better the service.
Manager came and gave excuses and asked ME how he could make things better. I threw it back at him and said that’s his job to figure out.
It is now 115pm and still waiting. To be continued.
It’s now 135pm and we finished eating. Food was hot and prepared the right way. But only because of the issues we had. The manager picked up the tab. We told them we don’t want free food. But wouldn’t let us pay.
Sadly, this is not our first poor experience with any Bob Evans. Probably won’t go back.

Just ate here. Worse service ever! Had a hair in my eggs and the waitress said, well unfortunately we all have hair. Had to ask for things two or three times before we got it. She never brought our soup or salad out. We had to ask for it. Will not go back here. Ridiculous!

This Bob Evans is ok.
Not great just ok.
I love Bob Evans because you can get Breakfast all day long and they have Thanksgiving Everyday.
What else could you ask for?
Totally awesome Yeast Rolls, Banana Nut Bread, Biscuits, or Blueberry (?)… That’s right they have it!
However this Bob Evans is a little slow and difficult to get in and out. The awkward intersection alone us enough to make you want to skip down to another down the highway.
Tonight biscuits cold.
Everything else great. Waitress was really nice. Check out guy was a little duh?
I will go back to see if I’m being unfair.
3 seems reasonable today.

Horrible, 1^st no grits we ordered biscuits & gravy waited 25 minutes & the waitress conned back & suggest toast unread of biscuits. After telling no & that’s was the only reason we came here. She said we could wait about 20 more minutes. I just told her we didn’t want anything. She rolled her eyes went to get the manger, they stand there whispering & looking at the table & the manger mover even came to the table just stayed behind the counter. So I got up & told them we were leaving. Other issues the tables around us had food sitting there when we say down and was still there when we left. I grew up on bob Evans & lately I’ve been disappointed in the managerial skills at these restaurants.

I am sorry to say this bob evens has really been a disappointment the past two times we have been there the wait was horrible for service and the cups were dirty and just no care any more sorry you have lost this families business.

Service here used to be good, but this location has really gone down hill in the last year. Want your breakfast coffee refilled? Forget it, they can’t even do a good job of that!

Keep going. Find another place for breakfast. You will wait a long time for your food. It sounded like too much chatter in the kitchen. They couldn’t have been too busy cooking as there were not many people.

Horrible service. Sat at bar for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Received a coupon in the mail with a picture of a beautiful new bakery. The «new bakery» is a few donuts and bread in a glass care next to the register. Very disappointing. We left without ordering.

ZERO STARS!!! This is terrible! Just walking in was dirty. The table they sat us at was dirty & WE had to ask to have it wiped off. The young boy who did so had no customer service & half wiped it. The high chair had egg & food all over it… Just disgusting. WE changed the chair out. They had no children’s menus. The place is dirty & the employees have no customer service skills. We got up & left before ordering.

Once again i have to say the star system for Unilocal needs to be revised. This is a ZERO star review.
As i said in my tip this place is simply a hell hole. The serve was pathetic the bathrooms were horrendous. I cannot believe Bob Evans would keep this place open.
My daughter had to pick up the toilet paper from the ground. The paper towels were a big roll sitting on a wet counter.
The experience got worse due to the server forgetting to bring my coffee for a prolong period of time. After a long wait our food was brought out. When we asked about our salads the server said she would rather bring out the food hot, but that didn’t quite answer how she forgot to bring the salads for the past 15 or so minutes.
My wife had to ask for her silverware no less than 4 times over a ten minute period. One order was missing a side of pancakes. Another order was missing her soup which she finally received when I received my salad. Of course after the main course was served. The last salad was never served since the person chose not to get it after her dinner.
The amazing thing about this screw up was the restaurant was empty. There were multiple servers and only a couple of tables.
The kicker was when I paid my check I was asked how the meal was and when I complained the guy took my credit card and only explained he came in and the place was a mess. He didn’t know why. Keep in mind this guy was not the manager, and he never offered for me to speak with the manager until after I paid for the meal and another server mentioned I should.
My biggest question is where the hell was the manager. Our incompetent server did mention she was having problems with a 5 top before us. So the person seating us of course stuck us with this server. So she was unable to handle a 5 top so give her a 4 top. She was just as bad.
I know this review is pretty unorganized, but it is just as screwed up as this Bob Evans. The manager must have been sleeping on the job since they were unable to oversee a restaurant with more employees than customers and still with crappy service.
I would think Bob Evans would be better served if they closed this hell hole and remodeled. Then maybe they could spend time on training the new staff.

Didn’t come here expecting a gourmet organic continental breakfast, but it filled the stomach and we were in and out and on our way.

My sister and I came here for the first time. The wait line was 10 minutes — not too bad. The waitress had the entire right side of the restaurant which in made service very slow in getting the things you ordered. Majority of the clientele are older people.
I ordered the BE Scrambler with fries and hot chocolate. They were super, super STINGY with the fries! I mean seriously — we came to eat not look at the food! My omelet was OK but I had to look very hard to find the sausage in it :/​. My sister ordered the spinach bowl with raspberry lemonade. She assisted me with this rating and barely wanted to leave a tip. Hope your experience is better than ours.

When visiting Virginia I saw a Bob Evans along the freeway and just HAD to stop in! I’m originally from Ohio and it had been several years since I had gone to Bob Evan’s with my father and have biscuits and gravy (kind of our thing to do together) The food was great just like I remembered so I was very pleased with that as well as the waitress who was sweet and checked on our table often. However I was not happy with the cleanliness of the restaurant when we came in the door it seemed nice but when sat down the table and chairs were dirty and we could see into the kitchen area where it looked like it needed to be swept … It was a busy morning I can forgive all that for a little blast from the past :)

Gooß ol’ Bob Evans. Stopped here on the back from fredricksburg for a late breakfast or «brunch» Seems like church just let out because everyone had their «sunday best» on. Oh how I like the country feel. Service was a little slow on this busy sunday. However the waitress was friendly and in her best accent took our order. I had the omlette and it was very tasty and filling. I also ordered a side of sausage gravy mmm the best part. I would revisit on a tueday night. maybe the service wont be so slow.
