This place would’ve gotten 4⁄5 stars if it wasn’t so crowded. Came here on a weekday morning with my niece and it was nuts. Groups of people in line at the door. Fully occupied. Great pancakes though! The best one in my opinion are the Hawaiian pancakes. Pineapple and coconut and good texture in the pancake. Gravy is creamy and biscuits delicious. The cure juice blend is refreshing and not too sweet.

The reason to come here is the award-winning biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find a decent version of this dish. Most breakfast places have turned biscuits and gravy, a classic southern breakfast, into something more closely resembling the truck stop monstrosity. Here the biscuit is light and flaky, the gravy a creamy blend of understated flavor. Pancakes are good but unexceptional. However, the juices are fresh made in house, and the coffee holds up to anything produced at the larger national chains. Our server was cheerful and helpful. Overall, five stars.

By far the best breakfast place around. Excellent, high quality food. No corners cut. My go to item is the Southwest Benedict. Just amazing flavor in every bite. The Sausage Biscuit and Gravy is another must have. Their drinks and bloody Mary bar are fantastic. I prefer the downtown location as its smaller and cozier, but the food is stellar at either location. Just a great place for breakfast and lunch. You cannot lose with this place.

This place was INCREDIBLE! The food, views and staff were awesome! I wish I lived closer so I could go again! Charlie was fantastic right from the beginning and made us feel so at home 1000 miles away. He recommended great options and they were delicious. The biscuits and gravy are a must! Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. We found Over Easy on a Unilocal search of the area and it was so right!!! Try this place!

So many options on the menu it was hard to pick one thing! Their juices are so fresh land delightful! I had an omelet, and it was cooked perfectly. I wanted to try every meal. They make their biscuits in house and you can tell by the flavor!

We LOVED the patio! I mean, DON’T eat on the patio(you’ll be taking my spot!). The view of the mountains is great, and the umbrellas will keep the sun off of you. There was a 15 – 20 minute wait for lunch during the week. I thought it was VERY loud inside, so very glad we sat on the patio. Food was a little pricey, but that wasn’t unexpected. Service was wonderful, checking on our satisfaction and keeping our beverages filled. LOVE so many great gluten-free options! The pancakes were huge; glad I ordered only one, although my companion’s 3 gluten free pancakes were not much more than my single one. Dog friendly patio.

We checked out Over Easy based on Unilocal recommendations and it is awesome! The wait was long, 45 minutes so we went to Trader Joe’s to do some shopping. The wait was well worth it as the service and the food were superb! We had Morgan as our server, she was super friendly and helpful as it was our first visit. We tried the Tuscan Eggs Benedict and the Cinnamon Swirl pancakes — both were served piping hot and were amazing! The General Manager stopped by and introduced herself, she was very friendly and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Highly Recommend!

Great service and great atmosphere ! Worth the wait to sit outside and eat with the breathtaking views of Pikes Peak. All the food we ordered was delicious! I ordered the breakfast tacos with chorizo and the breakfast quinoa. My other half ordered the breakfast burrito with a single cinnamon swirl pancake. The fresh juices are wonderful also!

Wow! Over Easy is fan-freaking-tastic! Yes, the wait is long but we expected that at 11am on a Sunday morning. They have free coffee while you wait. No reservations and you cannot call to put your name on the list. There is bar seating and a large community table but we were 3 people and only saw one or two spots open up in the hour we waited. One we were seated, we ordered quickly and our meals came out very fast, given the crowds. My daughter and I were seduced by the sweet side of the menu and went all out. Stuffed French toast and a pancake flight that included 3 different pancakes of our choice. My husband ordered the Southwest Benedict and thought it was delicious. The one bite I tried had a nice kick from the chorizo. We started in on the pancakes first. Colorado blueberry streusel was our favorite with the Strawberry Cheesecake a very close second. I saved the Hawaiian pineapple for last, expecting to like it the most but it was my third favorite. Splitting hairs because each was amazing. We were totally sated after the pancake dish and stared down the French Toast. Huge serving. The three of us finished it all. It tasted like it was stuffed with cream cheese frosting and it was decadent and something I will remember years from now. We knew what was on the other side of this meal… a mega carb-crashing nap so changed our plans and headed home for a snooze. Ah, the good life.

This is definitely one of the best places for brunch. I am a bloody mary fanatic and this place exceeded my expectations with their create your own bloody mary bar! We got the Pancake flight, California Eggs Benedict, and their famous Biscuits & Gravy and each bite was superb.

This place is great! Biscuits and gravy and pancakes that did not need any syrup. I wish this place was closer to home. Thumbs up. I will definitely come back here when I visit Colorado Springs again.

Yum! Really cool place. I found this place here on Unilocal and must say I was skeptical when I walked in because it looked very commercial. It reminded me of planet fitness having a baby with Buffalo Wild Wings so I was confused. But as soon as we sat down and looked at the menu we were blown away. It is all locally sourced food and very creative! My husband had«tatums avocado whatever» and it was deciduous! I was jealous I wimped out and got egg whites. The staff was accommodating, and dispite previous reviews(clearly they weren’t educated on what a hipster is) there’s no hipsters running the place. It’s all people with families and like normal hard working people. Ok I did see one emo kid, but he was bussing tables so whatever. We weren’t from around the area and asked our waiter what we should do that day and he didn’t know bc he was new to the area so he sent his manager over and she was so sweet! She took time from her day, sat with us and explained the nearby must sees! We will be back next time we’re in CO springs! Also– it’s in a great shopping center next to trader joes, AMAZINGVIEW of pikes peak and more!

I want to give this place 5 stars but I just can’t. The food is great, the portions are okay, and the service is mostly good. No problems here. The problem with this place is that it is always busy, there is always a wait, it is noisy in there, and the«first come first serve» long table is just a mess. Unless you feel like sharing your conversations with strangers sitting very close right next to you, or even worse, you can’t have a meaningful conversation because the folks sitting next to you are loud. And if you don’t mind rubbing elbows with complete strangers — then that table is for you! My wife and I hated it there. We couldn’t wait to pay for our overpriced eggs and get the heck out of this place. I believe the owners wanted to put as much tables and people in there as possibe, and the result is a very uncomfortable dining experience in a loud and hectic place.

On the Foodie Brunch tour in Colorado I visited Wades, Over Easy and the Original Pancake House. While I loved all three the Original Pancake House edged out the Crowd followed by a close tie between Wades and Over Easy. Haleigh our ever so delightful Waitress highlighted the specials and Boo and I settled on the Hawaiian pancakes, turkey bacon, eggs with mushrooms and some wheat toast. The Hawaiian pancakes were made with pineapples, coconuts and arrived with a ball of honey butter. It was fulfilling and the hash was crunchy and just needed a sprinkle of salt and ketchup to enhance the taste. Halfway through the pancake my stomach hit capacity and Haleigh graciously packed up the remaining food for my snack. Boo seemed to enjoy his food and quietly polished off his meal while I took in the Amazing view. I gazed at the the mountains and eagerly took in the puffy clouds and beautiful horizon as my eyes had never seen such a Mountainous landscape in my 37 years(East Coast S.C. Native). This vacation was short of amazing and the multiple stops on this Foodie Vacay left my palette wanting more! More to see. more to Eat! Fabulous Vacay Ms. Foodie

The bottom line is this is a good breakfast place. The top line is that it’s overrated. It’s simply not worth the over 1 hour wait which is typical at breakfast time. I would like to come back to try their lite menu items but the wait is too much. Also, it’s extremely loud. The acoustics are terrible causing an amplification of everyone talking. Could hardly hear the people at my own table talking.

I was greeted by a hostess in an unbuttoned white shirt and exposed black lace bra with diaphanous leggings covered in either animal or human hair. It was very crowded, as it always is when I arrive, but everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The prices are steep, but the food is good if you can wait. They gave a cardboard dinosaur to the baby and that was a nice touch. The juice glass was full of ice, which was disappointing after paying $ 6 for it. I recommend their biscuits and gravy.

I was here for 3 breakfasts, I guess you regular folks call them mornings. Whatever you call them I came here twice, it really was that good and the last breakfast I in Colorado was there. The first breakfast was terrific, enough that it turned around my whole day for me. I usually like a savory breakfast but had to start with the pancake flight, which was delicious. Seriously, whatever bad IHOP/terrible cafeteria ideas that you have of pancakes, the ones here will change your mind. The cinnamon swirl, the blueberry it was all good. I still got a savory, the biscuits and gravy which were great! I really liked the slightly spiced flavor of the gravy and the big chunks of sausage, usually there’s more biscuit than gravy and I’m just kind of leftover bread, this time not so. There was more than enough gravy, so much so that I had a hash brown/gravy mash up left over, which was delicious. The second time I got breakfast tacos which were great-a lot easier to handle than the burrito and it paired well with the Maui Waui and Perfect Pomegranate mimosas. Yes, I know they’re ‘girly’ yes, they were delicious and yes I would go back and drink them again. Service both times was great. The first time we were seated at a table and the second at the bar, both the server and the bartender was great and when we let our server know it was our first time he took the time to welcome us as well as familiarizing us to the place.

Always so damn busy in the morning, but that should tell you something about the place and the quality. Build your own bloody mary bar was a cool concept and I loaded mine so heavy I needed help carrying it back to my table. Rest of the drink menu was so-so. Had both the southwestern benedict and the Italian benedict. Southwest had to have been one of my favorite bene’s I’ve ever sampled. Kudos for the attempt at the Italian, but a little weird. We got lucky enough to get 2 seats at the bar, otherwise prepare for an hour or more wait
