— Food portion is small proportion to its size. — Had green curry chicken(RM20) and kangkung belacan(RM15). Curry was actually very creamy, too much oil, chicken was prepared very tender and boneless, all bite size pieces. 9.5÷10 for chicken. 7⁄10 for sauce. 4⁄10 for size. — Store setting was 8⁄10. Very spacious. Plenty of fan and air conditioning. Tables are large. Good for group meets. Although there are long tables too so it might be a problem if you don’t like sharing the same table with others. Otherwise, very pleasant.

I’m Spicy is one of the few Thai cuisine that actually serve pork. At the same time, they give you the option to choose the level of spiciness in your food. This would be good for those who can’t stand spicy food. Located at the end corner of the street where Café 9 is, one may find it difficult to get a parking spot. With such a narrow lane and behind a residential area, it may get frustrating. However, if you managed to get a parking, you’re up for a spicy Thai treat. I have tried their deep fried pork ribs and it was lovely! High cholesterol all the way! Also their tomyam soup is really good, the seafood is really fresh and I like it really spicy.

Aside from being an obvious Thai restaurant because of its name, I’m Spicy is well, spicy, and is pretty good if you are up for some decent Thai food. By decent I mean food that really warms your belly when it is cool, and destroys your taste buds with an explosion of spiciness. I really liked their Tom Yam soup, as it does not taste diluted like most Thai restaurants around town, and of course, their décor did help to create a much needed ambience, because their food is sweat-worthy, and it is relaxing to the eyes, thus easy for you to eat. That being said, if you love Thai food, you will love this place. Love it.

I’m Spicy is an authentic Thai restaurant serving thai street food as their chef is a Thai woman who is responsible for churning out yummy food. The corner shoplot has its own limited carpark for visitors as parking can be quite difficult to find around the area. The restaurant used to be open air but have resorted to installing air conditioning as our malaysian weather is just too hot for tom yum. I was ecstatic when I found out that they serve pork as not many thai establishments do. The house drink is an absolute favourite of mine as its refreshing on a hot day. Its made from mint, pandan, lemongrass and lime, the perfect combo to beat the heat. Prices here are pretty decent but the portions are small. Their deep fried pork ribs remains a favourite of mine but I find their curries to be just mediocre.

A reasonably priced Thai restaurant situated at the corner of Jalan 17⁄45. I would say that because other modern Thai restaurants are just absurdly priced. I love the decoration as it is modern and raw. Such is a popular design amongst new restaurants in PJ. When I was dining there months ago, they used to leave the doors open and rely on fresh air but since you’re serving Thai food, this might be too much for your patrons as my friends and I are all sweating after the meal. As much as the food is yummy, I wouldn’t genuinely think that the food are authentic Thai taste. But if you would love to have Thai food places that serves pork. Their deep fried pork ribs and pork skewers are worth going back for.

Sitting at the very end of a row of shoplots, I’m Spicy is not another run of the mill Thai restaurant. For one, they serve pork. Secondly, they also serve authentic Thai street food. Having visited the place before, my sister took charge of ordering. Complicated noodles for starters and Pork Rib Tom Yam, Stir Fry Kangkung with garlic, Som Tam and Sliced Pork to share. The unique but truly delicious complicated noodles are actually soft but wide rice noodle wrapped over lettuce leaf & roasted pork with mind blowing dressing sauce. I just love the fact that it is self-service, allowing you to customise the flavourings to suit your preference. Another stand out is the pork rib tom yam. The clear tom yam soup goes well with the meaty pork rib, making it sour yet spicy. Overall meal with the other dishes makes it feel like you’re having a nice family dinner in Bangkok. If you enjoy Thai food and have a fondness for pork, I suggest you check out this place, but bring a big wallet if you have a big appetite. Unfortunately, portions are on the small side despite the prices.
