Cute little café, fun to sit around here and people watch. They are open early in the morning, which is rare for a lot of places. The menu is actually mostly western, however, you can find a few traditional Malaysian items which are pretty tasty.

Staying at Muntri Mews gave us the perfect excuse to meet-up at the Mews Café. It became our daily meeting place for breakfast, some lunches and evening cocktails. The food is excellent modern Malaysian cuisine with local ingredients and spices. My favorite lunch was the Ikan Sambal, seabass steamed with sambal in banana leaf. So moist and delicious, served with blue rice and mango salad. My friend’s Beef Rendang was also tasty, with yellow rice and papadum. The staff are helpful with suggestions. Cocktails were yum and of course I had to try their specialties. I forgot what one of mine was called but it looked like a tequila sunrise margarita martini LOL. Nice, quiet, relaxing and you can eat outside or inside with air-conditioning!
