After walking around, I needed to take a break. There are a couple of cafes on Love Lane that do coffee, tea, and desserts. I walked into this one and immediately loved the adorable hipster bicycle theme they had going on. Bicycles and bicycle wheels are hanging as décor and they’ve got bicycles painted on the walls. Really nice ambiance. Oh and it’s air conditioned and there’s free wifi(password is on your receipt). I ordered a hot green tea latte(wanted something hot despite the heat) and a Let’s Rock sandwich(fried egg, cucumber, lettuce, and turkey bacon). You order at the cashier and then they’ll bring you your food. Everything came out super quick. The latte was good and came with lovely latte art. It was a nice break. The sandwich was just ok. A few friends and I came back for a coffee break. I had the toffee nut latte and that was really good. This is a great place to take a break from all the old town sightseeing. Good coffee and tea and really cute ambiance! They have outdoor seating also.

Themed with bicycle art, Wheeler Café is one of the listing cafes that you should never miss when visiting to Georgetown, Penang. It is located at Love Lane, somewhere near to The Camera Museum. Wheeler Café is a two-storey café. Customers are required to order at counter and pay on the spot. Then, a number will be given to customers. When the food and drinks are ready, the crew will deliver them to the customers’ table. We chose to sit at upstairs, reason is the lower level was full and we wanted to play darts. There are two darts machines at Wheeler’s Café, with iDarts system. By the way, this is the place I learned to play darts with my dear. For you information, Wheeler’s Café sells iDarts reload card which you can use at any iDarts darts machines. We ordered cakes and drinks. The oreo cake was smooth and not too crunchy on the base; while the chocolate lava cake was sweet. Topped with a vanilla ice-cream, it was a flavorful dessert. There was simple coffee art on my hot chocolate. It was not too sweet but suit my taste buds. In short, Wheeler’s Café is a very cosy café that you can spend with friends and family. I saw they were decorating tiramisu when leaving the café. I wished to try it too. Perhaps, next time when I go visiting Penang, I can return to Wheeler’s Café and try this piece of cake.
