I had the Chukasoba. The shoyu soup was very light but was not bad. Noodles and chashu very average. Overall it was very average, but there wasn’t really anything bad about it either. I was just shocked to see that this ramen is 390 yen! Holy crap, I can get 5 bowls of ramen here for 1 bowl at Ippudo NY. I think I’ve been in the states too long, lost my sense of ramen price.

Unilocaled«ramen» and this was the closest. I’m sure I walked by a few places(which I look forward to adding in the next couple of weeks) but this was it. On a mission to eat some ramen. Kourakuen is a ramen chain restaurant located on route 16. 5 – 10 mins drive from base or a few mins walk from kenritsudaigaku station. Seats about 12 at the bar and 32 at the tables. Very nice, clean and modern dinning area and décor. The set I ordered was Ramen, Fried rice & three gyoza for ¥742. Fried rice was pretty good. Comes in a skillet and cooked at the table. Gyoza was delicious. Nice crisp as well. Ramen was ok. Broth was bland/could’ve use more seasoning. Noodles were ok. The pork slices were to small and not as good as the local mom & pop shops. Service was great. I wouldn’t come here for the best bowl of ramen. Probably for the clean atmosphere, parking convenience, gyoza and an inexpensive meal.
