This is a revolving sushi bar with a pretty big parking lot. The hubby and I got here right as they opened on a Sunday morning. Their sushi choices are variable and yummy. With most plates being only ¥100, it’s easy to grub too much. Lol My favorite was the Battleship Tuna, which is tuna on top of rice with a shiso leaf wrapped in seaweed with green onion on top. Super delicious! You can always order off the touch screen if you don’t like what goes around on the conveyor belt. When you order off the touch screen, your sushi comes on a little train and you push a button to send the train back, after you’ve taken your sushi, of course! All in all, I can’t wait to be back! It seems like there’s usually a wait here though. By the time we left, there were loads of people waiting for a seat.

I’ll keep it short and simple! Great selection, great service, great sushi and very easy to order in any language. Plus if you order off the electronic menu, a friggin little train stops at your table with your order a minute later. Not crowded.. well worth the short trip.

Located on the seaside is this 108jpy sushi restaurant. Just 5 – 10 mins walk away from horinouchi station on the Keikyu line. We arrived at 11am just as they opened and got seated in the booths. They have conveyor belt sushi as well as made to order sushi which you order via the tablet on the wall and the sushi is delivered to you on a train. The sushi are fresh! Some of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely value for money! The ikura was so yummy! Aburi salmon is also a must try! Charred to perfection! There is a can of green tea powder on each table and hot water dispenser is next to the conveyor belt so help yourself to green tea! You can also ask the waitress to change the menu to english so you can easily order sushi via the tablet. All in all, a great place even for foreigners to order sushi that tastes yummy and fresh!

Great Sushi go-round joint, within a short drive from Yokosuka Base. The menu is available in English and special orders come out pretty quickly. It’s actually easier ordering from the touch-screen menu than waiting for a particular dish to roll around. The staff is super friendly and ready to help if you need it. If you are new to Japan, I’d recommend this place until you can venture out further and find your favorite spot:)

If you live in Yokosuka — this is the better of the 100 yen sushi joints. You have a choice of Sushiro, Hanma, and Kappa. You have to drive to Kappa vice walk from the base but the advantage of that is that there is plenty of parking and most people do not know this place is here. You have your normal nigiri and maki rolls, toss in your monthly special(this month is high grade fatty tuna), and some really neat treats(salmon nigiri topped with onion and rid chili oil soaked garlic) and it is worth the 5 minute drive. If you like sushi — this place is fun. and the special orders come in on their own train rail — you will have to see it yourself.
