Just finished eating in at the restaurant and the food was mediocre. Customer service was bad. Attended to us only once throughout our time there and it took 20 – 30 minutes to get the check to pay for our meal. If you’re ok with the average taste of Chinese food then I would suggest in doing takeout so that you don’t have to experience their poor service. I will continue my search for some out of this world mangolian beef.

You will never feel bad about what you order ever again. Good prices for incredibly healthy dishes they make. The soups are plenty and hearty. It is worth coming all the time.

Superb. Everyone who dines at Panda Express and Panda Express-type places should most definitely try the Super Wok. You can’t go wrong with anything you select on their menu. The eggplant, especially, is amazing. If you were an eggplantphobe or have only eaten Italian-style eggplant(parmigiana, which is drowned in fat!) then you should definitely try Super Wok’s. Their service is fast and very friendly, unlike most similar Asian restaurants where they just want to shuttle you in and shuttle you out. This restaurant is very successful and popular and for good reason. It’s one of the best places to eat in the west valley. And above all, they cook healthy! Anyone who thinks Panda Express’ orange chicken is the last word on chicken should open their mind and try the one at Super Wok! It’s a must-try!

I was disappointed last time I came here. Usually the service is very fast and the food is pretty good. I usually like to come here for lunch because the prices are more affordable for the portion size. However, when I showed up with my boyfriend we had to seat ourselves and the waiter never helped us. We just ended up leaving. The service was terrible. I gave them 2 stars because this was the first time it ever happened, but they didn’t even know we LEFT. I was super upset.

Wow they have the best Chinese food in the valley. Very fresh, every dish is made on the spot and perfectly made. My favorite dish is the green beans and beef. And the lunch special is cheap and comes with soup or salad yummy!

I really hate to write a review after been a loyal customer to this rest. Today is the LAST day in this place. After almost 9 years today their food was totally disgusting, RAW, OILY and the manager’s approach like a little arrogant prick was the cherry on the top. We asked to please reheat the chicken and the filet mignon since they were raw and they brought it the same but burnt from outside. Ohh, and the spring rolls were uncooked. This manager should be working as a dishwasher in some hole in DTLA, Is obvious that they are full time exploited workers and they never heard the word«customer service« See my picture on the description

I’ve been coming to this place for years and they’ve never disappointed me. I’m a 95% take-out customer, so my experience is mainly based on this. The food is tasty, portions are generous, their prices are fair and they don’t use MSG. They always get the order right, and the neatly packaged items always ready for pick-up when I get there.(I always pick-up, have not used delivery service.) Other than their food, what impresses me is how organized they are. At this place, every employee is «buzzing». The cooks cook at lightning speed,(you are able to see them through the pass-through window) and the outside staff takes orders, gives out orders and handles payments in a very efficient way. If I ever had to wait a few minutes it wasn’t because of staff, but some customer was thinking and asking questions about what to order, and taking too much time(and while my order was already sitting on counter). It is also very helpful that you can order through their website which is well organized, ordering there is easy as 1−2−3.(They deliver within 5 miles, min. $ 20 order… not used this service, just for your information.) The few times I’ve eaten there were also in par with the experience when ordering out.

Very good Chinese food. Been there twice once at the restaurant — busy in the evening and service was quick. The food was tasty — one of the better places in Tarzana. Great! I’ve also ordered a delivery and that was a great experience as well. Food was delivered fast and was still hot. Like most places — better to eat in then take out. Overall, a great place among many in the area. I will be eating there again.

Ordered delivery on Sunday and they charged my card twice. The lady who was taking my order asked for my card number 4 times. Called twice this week already and they just keep saying its going to go back to my account and that its normal to charge twice. Manager was very rude and I couldnt even understand what he was saying. He wouldnt even let me finish talking and was yelling at me over the phone. How is it normal to charge my card twice? Had to call my bank just to get my money back. Never ordering here ever again. Be careful when you order for delivery and giving your card number. This place better close down for really bad customer service.

We celebrated my brother’s birthday and ordered food to be delivered to the house. It was delivered pretty quickly as well. I’ve eaten my fair share of Chinese food over the years, but this place stands out for some of the most fresh and tasty I’ve had. We ordered seven different dishes and some brown rice. I had the cashew chicken and some of the garlic shrimp. The cashew chicken was delicious but the garlic shrimp was few and far between among all of the veggies and stuff that were added. The next day, I heated up some of the cashew chicken, lo-mein and moo-shoo pork — it was all very good. The sign of good food is how it tastes warmed up the next day. This place is just good stuff all around.

The son and daughter in law have raved about this place for a while. We met there a couple of nights ago for dinner. Granted I’m not crazy about Chinese food(as it all is pretty much the same to me) I have to say the wife and I saw what the kids were talking about — we really liked Super Wok. Good food, plenty of it and a friendly staff. Don’t judge this place against Rock Sugar or PF Changs, rate it as a local place serving good food — when you’re tired of Panda Express, etc. 4 plates of food, egg rolls and a couple of beers — under $ 70. We’ll be visiting Super Wok again!

Super Wok is the staple of Chinese food in The Valley. They have the best Kung Pow Chicken recipe. Every time I dine in or take out its consistent. I’ve never had a problem. It’s rare to find a place who still operates on their original recipes. The lunch special is worth it, almost everyday of the week. It’s very affordable. Dinner can be a bit pricy but it’s worth it :) There is a bit too much sodium in the dishes but that’s okay. I just wish I didn’t fall asleep after every time I eat here. I want to see the kitchen go more organic and renovate the menus a bit just to update it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the old time feel but the place could do with a little renovation. Don’t change the recipe what so ever, just take come salt away and be careful of putting your guests in food comas. A+++

Super wok is the best hole in the wall Chinese food I’ve had in the valley. I’ve been coming here and also getting take out probably my whole life. It’s consistently great and the staff is so friendly and attentive. Highlights of the menu: –sweet and sour soup –mu shu chicken –beef low mein –chicken asparagus –beef and snow peas –spicy eggplant –sweet and pungent chicken –garlic pork –shrimp fried rice The menu is huge but those are my favorites. The food is flavorful, cheap, good quality, and generously portioned. This is the only Chinese restaurant I’ll go to, it’s seriously better than everything else. I loooove super wok!

I was expecting an average, great only because of proximity restaurant when I was placing an order under those exact circumstances. I was hungry and this was the closest thing that was open at that time. I didn’t expect a great, cheap and good place tucked away randomly in tarzana. But this was exactly the description i can think of when referring to this place. an emotional rating for this place would be 4 stars. Im trying to be pragmatic however so ill give it 3. don’t get me wrong. I LIKETHISPLACE A LOT. here are my favorites: Szechuan dumplings Steamed Dumplings Beef with Broccoli i almost always order those whenever I am hungry and need a quick bite. Do swing by this place and give it a chance. The staff is super nice, and will be able to help you out.

Super wok is my families #1 spot for Chinese food. I know I know, it’s ugly outside and doesn’t look appealing. If you can get past the poor exterior, walk inside to enjoy good service and food. To start, the restaurant has a worker whose only job is to fill water! That’s good service to start lol. I start off with the sweet & sour soup. It is made different for lunch in comparison to dinner, but both are amazing. It always come steaming hot and just hits the spot every time. For the appetizer, we get the mu shu chicken! Basically, it is a Chinese burrito filled with a chicken stir fry & some kind of dark rich sauce that compliments the burrito wonderfully. They always give you sauce on the side in case you want more(which I always do). At this point, you are feeling good and the food keeps coming. Now I always mix up the entrees when I’m here and I’ve had good items and okay items. The food sometimes is a little too saucy, where it takes over the your meats flavor. That is honestly my only negative remark. The service is always so sweet & quick with your food. I have been here maybe 20 or more times & and I will not stop coming here! :D it is priced well & the type of Chinese that you share with family & friends. The lunch special is same quality & quantity for cheaper! At this point, I am just spitting out random facts about this place lol! Hope you enjoyed my review & let me know what you think of Super Wok!!!

I thought we were going to like this place a lot more than we did. Delivery time was fine. They got the order right. My GF the Queen of Reseda wanted her favorite dish, Garlic Chicken. She thought I was ordering from the Great Wall. Surprise! I tried a new place, hope it’s good… She was none too pleased to find out that I didn’t order from the Great Wall. This Garlic Chicken was not very good. It had that back heat with not a lot of flavor. Super Meh! I picked at it with my chop sticks and threw the rest out. The Wor Wonton Soup was average. Fried Shrimp was a bit over breaded. Didn’t love the sweet and sour sauce. Very thin. The Sweet and Pungent Shrimp was decent but not as good as the Sam Woo, Great Wall or Joe’s China Café. Sometimes you win trying a new place, sometimes you lose. You lose, good day sir!
