They were sleep when I walked in. I was scared to eat after that. I’m sad because I really liked this place.

This place is amazing! Had it last night for dinner and can’t get enough of it today! 1. They have MEAT wontons! And they are bomb! No cream cheese filling or pretend wontons which are fancy Chinese chips. 2. My mom had the«house egg foo young.» She said it was the BESTEFY she had ever had. It came separate from the sauce, and the sauce had plenty of shrimp, beef, & chicken. She has been dreaming of it all day long. 3. My sweet n sour pork was the PERFECT blend of the right amount of meat and sauce. And I can always tell how good it is by how it tastes the next day. It was still yum! 4. The delivery was very timely! And they called back to finalize my order even though I placed it online. Will be ordering it again, maybe sooner than expected!

Super glad I found this little gem. It’s not fancy but the food is excellent and great prices. The Wor Wonton soup is a meal all by itself. All of the dishes are large portions so come hungry or be prepared to share. They deliver within a 5 mile radius. I usually go in and order because it is faster. They have a great take out menu and everything is cooked fresh when you order so be prepared to wait 10 min!

Ordered take-out and the food was atrocious. The Crispy Orange chicken was neither crispy nor orange. It was soggy and mushy and was very bitter. And this dish is supposed to be their specialty! The pan fried dumplings were also soggy and had no flavor. The pork fried rice was dry and the pork pieces were chewy. Hands down, some of the worst Chinese food I can ever remember eating in my life. Have no idea how this place has 4 stars. Good luck if you decide to eat here. Update: Bad stomach problems all day. Eat at your own risk!

I don’t believe it… It’ my first time there… Kind of a take out place with tables. Perhaps they gave me extra service because it was my first time there… Everything,… My shrimp, The Egg Foo Young, and my soup was fantastic… I am so happy to find this place, after Manderin Tiger folded I have been going to Encino for my Chinese food… as the new place at Manderin Tiger didn’t fit my pistol. Lastly, the price was right… Try the egg foo young… I am chewing as I write.

This place was my favorite Chinese Spot for a really long time. Their Kung Pao Trio was my go to dish… Unfortunately, my second to last visit scarred me because there were a few black hairs in my food. They refunded my money and I decided to take a break from the place. I gave it a few weeks, blocked the experience out of my head and decided to try it again. This time, I got Moo Goo Gai Pan and halfway into eating the dish, I uncovered several long strands of black hairs underneath the chicken. I was grossed out. This time, I didn’t say anything to the waitress. I left my money on the table and walked out weak in the stomach. I’ve never been to a place where this has happened twice. It was unfortunate because the food always tasted great. I hope their cook starts wearing a hair net. If you’re gonna eat there, buyer be-HAIR.

Great food, kind service, and great prices. For under $ 8 you get soup, salad, rice, eggroll, and an entrée. Their Kung Pao chicken is great

This is the only Chinese restaurant that delivers to my neighborhood so my boyfriend and I decided to try it out last week. Glad I didn’t let the odd name get to me because I got the best beef and broccoli I’ve ever had. Had a very nice beefy flavor that you normally don’t get and the broccoli wasn’t totally saturated in sauce. The orange chicken my boyfriend got was really good also. They used nice white breast meat so there was no weird chewy pieces. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

My co-worker and I come here a few times a month because it’s close by. Delicious food. Good service. This was a great find.

Delicious! We order at least once a month and love the food. Love the steamed potstickers and my favorite is the Shanghai Pan Fried Noodles!

Food was not good! We ordered the beef chow mein(2 stars) and the general tsoas chicken(1 star). Everything was very greasy and the chicken was very fatty. The veggie egg rolls were definitely store bought(I get better ones in the freezer section of Costco). Only upside was that the delivery was fast.

Good food, good service I’ve had their fried rice(s) which have all been good. My favorite would be the BBQ pork or house special also they have a nice selection of healthier plates as well as the usual goodies. Delivery takes about 30−40mins

We started eating here out of convenience, my boyfriend worked nearby and it was a good alternative to everything else. Joe’s China Café has quickly become our go to place for Chinese food. Everything we get is delicious! The sizzling rice soup, chicken and broccoli, steamed dumplings, beef fried rice are all regular orders for us. And on top of the wonderful food the staff is always delightful

My husband and I have eaten here several time and always loved it. Ordered catering from them for a birthday yesterday and everything was excellent. Great food and they were on time and all my guests loved it as well. I recommend Joes China Café to all for dining and catering.

This is definitely not 4 star worthy Chinese restaurant. Had take out on a lazy night. The flavors just aren’t there. Having eaten Chinese food all my life, I cannot get myself to go beyond 2 stars. With that said, I am still looking for a decent Chinese restaurant in the valley. Sigh and the search continues!

We loved this place and ordered here almost weekly . The last two times we were disappointed, enough tonight to call. The corn chowder was tasteless, the side of rice stuck together, just not the usual great food overall. Well they are under a new chef and owner as of a month ago. Big change and not for the better. Sorry to see the old place go. We will be looking elsewhere but do wish the new owners the best in getting the flavored dialed in. We will check back later!

My family and I were looking for a new Chinese Restaurant to try. I did a Unilocal search and saw that Joe’s had great reviews. We decided to give them a try… OMG!!! Soooo worth it! They’ve now became our FAVORITE Chinese Restaurant. We’ve gone back so many times, they know exactly what we order usually without having to tell them. :D I HIGHLY recommend them… we haven’t had anything that didn’t taste REALLY good. My mom is very picky when it comes to Chinese food, and she absolutely loves Joe’s! So to me… that says A LOT! :)

This place is really hit or miss. Sometimes the food is pretty good. Sometimes, just ok. I actually shouldn’t use the word miss because the food isn’t ever too bad. I’d eat here over the other neighborhood Chinese restaurants. The steamed fish tends to be really salty although it is one of my favorite dishes from this restaurant. The owner is really nice. Some employees are ok, others don’t really speak. The ambiance is nothing special and the couple times I’ve been there, it has been empty. They do a lot of delivery and to go. At least there’s always plenty of parking.
