Excellent food and excellent service. The food is awesome. Felt real Hyderabadi style Biryani. Ambiance does not look great but the food is yummy. I usually order for to-go and had no complaint. Talking about a Restaurant, there are many factors that may or may not come in mind. Regarding food and it’s taste, would always prefer paradise to any other restaurant here in Florida. Chicken Biryani reminded me of Paradise Biryani in Hyderabad, India. I definitely recommend this place. Ample free parking.

Worst Paradise Biryani Pointe i have ever been to interms of ambience. No comparision to their franchises in Atlanta, Dallas and NJ. I have eaten here several times and the food was highly inconsistent from time to time. The worst was that they served a goat biryani with very stale and dry goat probably from a week atleast. When i complained they gave me a chicken biryani to replace and it absolutely had no flavor and was very disappointing.

I have been to several locations in Virginia and New Jersey in the past and I was dumbfounded by how horrible the food at this location was. It may be a new location or franchise but that’s no excuse. I love the food at my local locations in Virginia and was excited to eat at the one in Tampa, Florida… in fact we placed a large catering order for a college friends reunion and we were really disappointed with the food and the service. The food was ordered earlier that day but we had to wait about an hour when got there to pick up the food. They were very stingy with the sides and were reluctant to give us extra plain rice. The Vegetable Biryani barely had vegetables and the Goat Biryani barely had any pieces. The Apollo Fish was the only saving grace and was quite good. The rest of the dishes were at best ok. Overall we had a very bad experience. I don’t usually write very critical/bad reviews but this restaurant really deserved it. They better get their act together soon.

This is my fav area for authentic ethnic food and Paradise Biryani Pointe is one of the places that delivers. It’s not a well-to-do area and this is not a fancy or well appointed restaurant. but the naan is good. You can get it butter or spiced up with green bits. They also have chapati(lamer less buttery flatbr3ad) and, of course, boryani, the traditional south Indian rice dish. My buddy Rajmataj says theirs is the best around and I believe him. I also tried one of their chicken dishes and it packed a flavor punch. They do a brisk takeout business. Not the most comfortable area to stay and party, but the workers are nice and there are plenty of open tables. Kung Fu Tea is nearby and MD Market or stay in theme and hit the great Patel Brothers market on the other side of the road for some bittermelon and chaat. Jai ho!!!

Worst Indian food I and my wife ever had, we ordered chicken biryani, panner curry and naan. This place has the worst biryani it was same as some colored rice with no taste at all, panner curry was like onion and tomato curry such a waste. we asked him to change it and get another biryani as it was tasteless. This place is expensive as well. Had the worst food guys plz don’t go and eat such food.

I tried this place with a huge expectation but it turned out to be just average. Chicken biryani is still okay to some extent but mutton biryani sucks big time. it tastes so bland. I felt that the biryani lacked the flavor. I tried some other dishes too which were good. I tried chilli chicken and some fish(don’t remember the name of the fish dish) which were good.

I had a biryani dish bc they were out of the eggplant dish I had originally requested. I thought that one couldn’t go wrong with the signature dish. The biryani was okay, wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked, and it was sparse on the meat serving. My brother had a chicken curry dish, which was okay. I was disappointed that they were out of chai. And most of all, I was taken aback at how dirty the bathroom was. Management at the restaurant should really invest in cleaning the space up bc it absolutely impacts the overall ambience and impression one walks away with.

Well, one day a few weeks ago I was in serious need of some Indian food, any old curry will do, was my thinking. For some reason I forsook Brandon and decided I could find something better in Tampa. Anyway I ordered my food, ordered some extra rice and headed on down the road to go pick it up! The counter people were a bit awkward but it was whatever. My extra rice was pretty minimal, their rice comes in little containers like you would see the sides in from KFC. The rice didn’t even appear to be be basmati, maybe jasmine? Maybe Louisiana? Anyway, the Kadhai Chicken that I ordered had a good flavor, good amount of chicken and vegetables but there was something sinister lurking at the bottom of the curry container. Namely, hundreds of mustard seeds that turned the delicious smooth curry and rice into an intense crunch fest that obliterated all of my previous enjoyment! I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food and never before had such a mustard seed explosion!

Very bad ambience and the wait time was very bad! No courtesy to offer water for the customers(we had 2 kids!) and we had to ask for everything. even though food was moderate, I strongly recommend ppl not to go here expecting something good!

What a nightmare of a place! It takes a certain talent to deliver an abysmal restaurant experience. However, we were amazed by the«beyond abysmal and all hope» experience that the people at Paradise Biryani Pointe, Fowler Ave, Tampa delivered. Maybe the stars were too kind on us through the day with perfect beach weather and traffic free roads; our luck ran out when we decided to come to this place for dinner after a prefect day out. Before I write about why I was so disappointed with this place; I am a loyal patron of the Paradise Biryani Pointe in Atlanta and other places(DC, CA etc.) that I have traveled to. The quality and standard of the Biryani has always been the foremost reason for my repeated visits. I was not prepared for the rude reality check that this place was about to give me. Everything about this place was wrong and unwelcoming. The grimy floors strewn with soggy napkins(gross! I know!), the dirty plates piled on the tables forgotten for eternity and not one wait staff in sight should have cautioned us plenty; but the Paradise Biryani brand name egged us on. There was a 35 – 40 minute wait for the«room temperature» food and we had to pacify two hungry toddlers seated with us. We also had to request them a bunch of times for the«luxuries» like plates/spoons/forks!!! The icing on the cake was when our server brought us a bottle of water(room temperature. of course!) and had a dirty bin of cleaning supplies in his other hand. Talk about unappetizing!!! Finally the food was hugely underwhelming and under seasoned and completed the nightmare that the dinner turned out to be. My sincere suggestion to this place: please close down for some time, retrain your staff, improve your food, and clean up your restaurant(and your act in general!!) I sincerely wish I didn’t have to award this place even the one star that I have.

The food was great, and felt authentically Indian. The flavors were bold but satisfying and they offered a decent variety of dishes. Everything was reasonably priced and a great value for what you pay. My only gripe was with the environment and location. It looks like an old fast food restaurant building from the outside and the inside still retains some of that layout. It’s very sparsely decorated and just doesn’t set a mood which matches the quality and type of food they serve. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would certainly go back.

Don’t eat here, if you have a special love for biriyani in your heart, because this place will forever kill the craving of Biriyani for you. I literally meant the«forever» part. I had had paradise Biriyani before in New Jersey(awesome), Massachussetts(not that good, but still lovely), so definitely I was not at all prepared for the nasty surprise that this place(Paradise Biriyani pointe, Tampa) has given me. The side dish of chicken was absolutely bland which would be excusable if at least the biriyani tasted good. However, it was Horrible. The consistency of the rice was just a bit shy of mashed potato. may be they prepared it for a patient who just had some teeth removed, and therefore can not chew the food. Oh did I mention that the price is high, and the wait time is higher too? In one sentence: please stay away from this place.(paradise biriyani pointe, Tampa)

This is very interesting restaurant I have try today. The outside of the restaurant look like a fast food building. The glass is all tinted that you are not able to look inside. You may think the restaurant is run down and close down. The lighted open sign behind the heavy tinted windows is very hard to spot. With one door lock, you will think that the business is close down by the outward looking and lack of car parking outside. Since you cannot see inside due to tint window you may thought the restaurant is close. If they lock the door please call them to check and have them open the door. I usually don’t write that much about the outward look of the restaurant. This is just to let you know don’t walk away from good food inside. The amazing dish of this restaurant is the Biryani plate. It is combination Indian food with a lot of items. From curry, rice, sweet to Nan. You will get a full variety of food in beautiful spice cooking. I have this dish in one of the Indian restaurant in Miami before. This is a better option from any Indian restaurant with all-you-eat. This restaurant actually prepared the food well with correct balance of spice. Today we have open our lunch with an appetizer-dried pepper chicken. This dish is prepared with different dried pepper. The chicken is deep fry and cook with saffron spice. The dry pepper is added per customer liking for the spiciness. I like it to be spicy because the spicy is not just for the hot and spicy but for the enhancement as a seasoning. This is a very great dish and I am recommended this dish and spicy up the dish and drink a lot of water. One way to neutralize the spiciness is to eat it with rice. You can add the rice for $ 2 extra. Our entrée is the mix platters. It has three different grilled chicken made in tandoori. Thus dish required time to wait since this is the dish needs time to make it there. You will require additional 20 minutes wait. The combination chickens are traditional tandoori chicken, Hariyari kebab, and Malai kebab. The tandoori is the slow cook yogurts and Indian spice. The Hariyari is grilled with marinated mint, garlic, and green chillies. The Malai is grilled with marinated cardamom, cream and mild Indian spice. The cardamom is India green seed spice. Now, are you hungry??? Come to try it yourself. The kebab dish is just the kebab with no carb accompanying like Nan or Rice. If they can balance the meal to include rice or nan and vege, this will be a better attractive dish. As a result, we have to add the carb on the side. A recommendation for the restaurant is to remove the tinted window and allow customers to see inside the restaurant. Paint the outside to make it attractive. Provide carb or vege balance meal on kebab dish.

While the restaurant interior does look like KFC: Days of Future Past, it is at least clean. However, I wouldnt really eat here unless youre a single dude who is famished. The biriyani is quite good;however there are 2 main problems: 1) Price. The biriyani dishes are mostly 12 – 13 dollars. Reality Check: this is Tampa, not NYC, not Chicago. If I go to Ghareeb Nawaz in Chicago, I can get awesome chili chicken biriyani with enough for the country of Somalai for 6 – 7 bucks. That is also a hole in the wall dive, but the food is scrumptious. I dont know how rice with bits of egg and chicken are so expensive for Tampa. Quelle surprise! 2) Wait time. Last time, I ordered one chicken biriyani for takeout, and it took(deep breath) … 1 hour and 40 minutes!!! WTF! After asking every 20 minutes about the dish, the cashier would just make up some pathetic excuse and only after harassing them did I get my food. Tampa’s Indian food has gotten really abysmal or maybe I’m spoiled by Chi-town. If you dont mind throwing money away eat here. IF you want some good biriyani and can eat meat, go to Jai Ho(the one near Amscot) during the weekdays, they have a more flavorful one and you get some other stuff with it for 10 bucks!

Not exactly fast food on weekend nights when they are slammed. I called ahead and still waited for 30 minutes. Food is good though– not many veggies in their dishes but good curries. the butter paneer is good and the mirchi paneer is good. Don’t forget to order the naan which is amazing! Great for groups. Just be weary of slow service.

At first glance it looks run down and is next to a shady pawn shop. But do give it a chance! You will not be disappointed! Also service is a tad bit slow, but I think there is one guy on the back so just truck through it, it’s worth the wait! I’ve been to this place a good few times and have had the chicken thali(8.99 or 9.99, I forget) which is more of a sampler dish with a giant mound of biriyani rice, a bunch of different veggie dishes, some naan, and a small dessert. I have also had the chicken biriyani(12.99) and it is just a HUGE mound of rice and chicken with your traditional biryiani seasonings, which could be spicy so if you are not a fan be sure to say something. Both dishes are very flavorful and tasty. It’s one of the best Indian places I’ve ever been too. It might seem a little pricey in places, but you leave with a full tummy and leftovers to take home.
