Fri night, 1⁄29. First off, a TINY medium pizza(8SMALL pieces) with ONE topping was $ 18. Second it was overcooked. Third it was cold when I picked it up – exactly 20 min after I ordered it. And finally – I can get a delicious tasting frozen pizza at Safeway for $ 5!!! Start over RT!!! Boooooooooooooooo!!!

I can’t believe this place got such low ratings. The pizza was great and the service was very friendly. yes the place is a little dated and dingy and there are some locals that use it as a hangout.

Okay. So this place is a chain. I did not know that going in. My impression is that it is a chain which hit its peak in the late 1990’s. The décor was dated. The air smelled of a distant muskiness. The quota requiring at least one housefly per room was, much to my chagrin, dutifully met. The pizza itself was not bad. But it was not terribly good either. I had the King Arthur’s Supreme pizza — hold the olives — on thin crust. I don’t like olives; not the green ones or the black ones. It seems odd, as the Roman Empire was built on olives, so I try them once every couple of years. Nevertheless, the result is always the same: I don’t like olives. And I was in no mood to try them again this day. The employees were prompt, courteous and helpful. The process is to go to the register and place your order. They give you a cup and you get your drink and find a place to sit down. You watch the single television until your food arrives. You eat. You get out. You do not have to bus your own table. I don’t think I’ll be back. There are better pizza chains if I want chain pizza. That’s about all I have to say about that.

I ordered the Maui Zowie, or something like that. It was good, but service was a bit slow and the pizza was overpriced. The kid who brought us plates to our table was kind of abrupt and no one seemed too happy to be working there. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here if I ever find myself in San Rafael again.

This is the worst round table pizza location I have ever been to. The workers sit in the back and wait until there is a huge line to start helping people. They are very rude.

I having been eating here for 18 years and have never had a problem. I. I went in tonight with my 3 year old and ordered an all you can eat salad and asked for an extra plate to put a few things on for my son(I have always done this). I was confronted by the cashier and called a LIAR. I will not be going back.

This is a review of a carry-out order from Round Table Pizza in the Northgate One Shopping Center in San Rafael. First, what happened to the interiors of Round Tables. It has been years since I’ve been inside of one. But I remember them being rather warm environments with lots of wood and booths. There were even candles on the tables in some. This one is just a big brightly lit room with some basic tables. The space was very clean. But it is so plain. The staff was pretty effective. I wouldn’t say they were overly friendly but they were polite and efficient. I placed my order. I was told it would be about 15 minutes for my pizza. To me that is a pretty acceptable amount of time to wait. I actually went over to the nearby Walgreens and came back. That timed up well with the completion of my pizza. My pizza actually only required 12 minutes and 41 seconds to be prepared and boxed up. Medium Pan Pizza with fresh mozzarella, sausage, tomato, & mushrooms — First, they put two of the little thingamajobbers to keep the pizza from sticking to the top of the pizza box. That was a win. I didn’t lost even one little bit of cheese. When I made it back to my hotel, my pizza was still piping hot. The mozarella was very tasty. Much better than I expected from a Round Table. The mushrooms had lots of flavour. The sausage was mild but held its own. It was one heavy pizza. Teh toppings ran deep but the crust still held up. I thoroughly enjoyed this pizza. Oh, and they have a container and you can take(i am sure within reason) as many packets of Parmesan and crushed red pepper as you need for your own personal tastes. Receipt: $ 24.09 Overall — Effective service, quick preparation, and a fresh, hot and delicious pizza, that is a win, win, win, One could argue that $ 24 is steep for a large chain pizza. This pizza would easily feed two hungry people. But, even at $ 12 bucks a person, it is still a tad on the expensive side. It wouldn’t keep me from returning though.

I love me some Round Table. I know it’s not the best pizza, but it’s solid. And it’s reasonably priced. And whatever, I don’t have to explain myself to you. I get it. It’s Round Table. But this is unacceptable. We just moved back to San Rafael and wanted a quick pizza. We ordered it at around 7:00 pm; called at 8:00, asked where it was, they said out for deliver; called at 8:30, asked where it was, they said out for delivery; got a call at 8:45 from the driver, who was lost. I gave him directions best I could, but we just moved so I didn’t really know the area and couldn’t give great directions. Then again, he’s a delivery guy, they have our address, I’ve looked at a map before, it’s not that hard. Either way, it’s not my job. Anyway, he finally was able to find our place at 9:30PM. It’s super hard to find you know… a neighborhood that’s been around since the 50s and is right off the freeway. Whatever. Not his fault, the GPS was broken and the directions were crap. In the meantime, my wife called and talked with their manager after 90 minutes had gone by. To his credit, the manager was actually very apologetic and nice. He ended up giving us a voucher for a free pizza and a VIP card good for 50% off another pizza. He said he’d leave it in the register under her name for us. Awesome! Totally worth it to have some tummy growls and get a free 1.5 pizzas in my opinion… That is, until we went order our next pizza on that voucher two weeks later. What do you know… no voucher. Nothing. And the manager who does that kind of stuff is only there in the mornings(who orders pizza in the morning???). And apparently if she didn’t issue the voucher, it doesn’t exist. So basically, it doesn’t exist.(Because she didn’t issue the voucher.) That’s what we found out AFTER being on hold for 10 minutes. Awesome… Now if you can’t tell by now, I’m deep into a bottle of wine with no pizza in my belly. I’m bummed and hence the long review. Just waiting for a pizza from another local chain to show up. Hopefully there aren’t any problems with it so I don’t have to make another Unilocal review this year.

With as many things that went wrong with my order I can write a long review. But I’m going to try to keep it as short as possible. I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza for pick up and when I got home it had zero barbecue sauce. I called them back and they said they could send a new pizza and I said it wasn’t necessary they could just send out a side of barbecue sauce. An hour later still no Barbecue sauce. I called back and spoke with the manager Miguel and he offered a free pizza voucher which would be mailed to me. He assured me that the driver was on his way to hours later still no barbecue sauce. I called back he offered to send out a whole new pizza which I accepted another hour later the pizza showed up. Three hours total for this meal and when I opened up the pizza it look like it was all barbecue sauce the cheese wasn’t even melted there was no chicken. It seemed to be made out of spite for calling so many times. I was afraid to even try the pizza because of the way it looked and I did not want to risk getting sick because it was clear that the pizza was not made with good intention. Tomorrow I will bring in both pizzas to the manager so she can see what went on. Unfortunately I will no longer be ordering from here ever again and it is the first time anything like this is ever happened to me. I have always ordered the same thing and been happy. I just don’t know what happened tonight. In my experience the daytime crew that I’ve always ordered from have always been excellent. Especially the drivers.

Sorry guys, but where has the quality control gone? A long-time favorite, we have been ordering pies from this Round Table for years, but things have been sub-par for the past 6 months or so. Pizzas taking an hour and a half to get us on a Sunday or Tuesday night. When we each call at different times to check on the status of the delivery, we get different stories and absolutely no effort to redeem their poor service and try to keep a long term customer. And worst of all, pizza is luke warm, at best, at delivery. Sad to switch up my loyalties, but they left me no other choice.

Service really brought down this rating. My wife and I ordered a pizza for take out. We where told our order would take about 20 minutes so we decided to shop a bit in the strip mall. We returned about 20 minutes later to pick up our order and it was no where to be found. The kitchen area is open so we could see the cashier and employees talk; our pizza was forgotten. They told us our order would be ready in 6 minutes but obviously it was time to actually start our order. I appreciate the fact they tried to get our pizza to us after they forgot but it would have been fantastic if it was cooked thoroughly rather than rushing their forgotten mistake. Lastly, it would have been great if we were offered a bread stick, coupon, or a salad for our inconvenience and wait. 2 stars for an almost cooked Round Table Pizza and poor service.

Ordered a pizza at 6:03 on Friday, was told it would take 45 min.– to 1 hr. It took 1 hour 20 minutes they delivered the wrong pizza plus it was cold, I called told them I didn’t want the pizza just my money back. I waited another hour to get my money back, and never once was given an apology or told they were sorry. Never again I will drive somewhere and get a good pizza.

Place is small but super clean and fresh looking. Nice new carpet, tables and chairs. I was greeted by Tricia who was pleasant and helpful. Had a nice flat screen to watch NFL football highlights and the lunch buffet kept the food rolling in with good choices. Salad bar was stocked and full and clean. This location is a nice place to have the lunch buffet!

Worst place, staff all standing around doing nothing, almost arguing who is going to work; place smells bad with food all over the floor. Now staff are sitting in the front table area drinking soft drinks from the dispenser.

Actually just observed my amigo eating a small pesto pizza. Never been here before, and I was super surpristed that it looked so good! Salad bar looked fresh, restaurant clean, empty, and friendly. I’m going to try to make time to hit up this round table for lunch sometime, and see if it tastes as good as it looks.

I have a weakness for Round Table pizza. I dig this location — while it doesn’t have the dark pubby feel of a traditional RTP, I like the staff, many of whom are long-timers. They’re efficient, nice enough, and things are very clean. It’s nice, quick little lunch break — I only ever to to RTP for lunch specials, as their regular priced menu I find extremely expensive for what it is, but you just can’t beat a little personal pizza and a salad on certain days!

I haven’t been to this roundtable for quite awhile because the service was absolutely horrible the last time I dined-in(2009). However, everyone deserves a second chance, so I thought«what the heck, why not give em a second chance!» What’s that old saying: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.“ Wow, this place continues to disappoint! I ordered for delivery and received a cold pizza an hour and a half later! Whats really frustrating is that it was 30 minutes late! It’s cold and it’s late??? Did they wait until it was cold for them to deliver it? This place has lost me as a customer for good! But if you do order from them, be sure to mention that you want a hot/fresh pizza.

Pay close attention at an Oakland A’s game and you’ll often find that the ticket stubs can be redeemed at Round Table for a free personal pizza. That brought me in here twice recently, at lunchtime. Despite whatever past reviewers may have reported, I was happily impressed: Tables are clean and bussed quickly, the staff is friendly, competent, and attentive, and the salad bar is the cleanest, most nicely stocked Round Table salad bar I’ve seen. Both times, I ordered my free personal pizza with thin(skinny) crust, green bell peppers, and yellow onions. I liberally enhanced it with dried red pepper flakes and that puppy was cheesy deliciousness. No complaints here. I had a big, 4-person table to myself, and read my book as I ate but they also had a big screen airing a professional ice hockey game and they kept the volume nice and unobtrusive. It’s the freebie that got me in here, but I’d return. This particular Round Table is doing a good job of making the pizza/salad experience a nice one. Note to parents: This is a small Round Table without a game room or party room. Note to non-parents: The above makes this a nice, low-key experience than you may find at other Round Tables.

I don’t usually review chains but thought this one deserved one. I’ve never been to RTP before and thought the pizzas here were good. Nice and hot with a crispy crust. Just the way we like our pizza. With the exception of one, the employees were surprisingly friendly and seemed to care about their customers. Very refreshing. The next part isn’t a total reflection of RTP but of other customers. In one visit, we saw a man nibble from the salad bar while waiting in line to order. We were grossed out seeing his grubby hands pick out the stuff he wanted to eat. Then a few minutes later, some 7 – 8 year old kid literally stuck his hands in the lettuce and started playing in the salad bar. His father apologized and the employee said it was ok(but didn’t change out the salad). Seriously San Rafael. Were you guys raised in a barn?
