Best pizza by the slice in Marin. Stefano’s is yucky. Gioia in Berkeley is the best anywhere but, in Marin, Roma is the best I’ve found. Try the Philippine food also.

Three words: chicken parmigiana sandwhich. This thing is two chicken breasts and an entire loaf of bread. I make two meals out of it. I’ve never eaten in, but I have never gotten anything I haven’t liked from this place via takeaway. The calzones are amazing too(just steer clear of the meat ones, they put so much meat in there it will give you epic heart burn later).

I thought this place was decent. The pizza was a nice mixture of soft and crunchy, the veggies were fresh. I was not to impressed with their lasagna(my son loved it tough), and the bread they give you was SUPER greasy. They also sell pizza by the slice, however I only saw cheese advertised. They have quite a variety of pasta dishes, but I’ve yet to try more.

I used to work at the mall, so I ate here a lot over the years. They make a pretty good pizza, best in the Northgate area. I used to split a small chicken and vegitable pizza with my boss almost every day, and we would dip the pizza into Jufran brand bananna sauce, and it made it AMAZING! I give them four stars because their entrees are great. The lazagna dish is HUGE. It comes in a baked pan with a great portion of garlic bread. Also they make eggplant and chicken parmesian sandwiches which are also huge. They recently moved to Northgate 3, so I’m not sure if they got their liquor liscence again yet, But I remember they used to have a happy hour! Give it a try!

I don’t think it’s quite fair to give two stars to this place. First off, why would anyone expect dressing that’s NOT ‘out of a bottle’ from a little hole-in-wall Italian joint? Second, who cares if the owners aren’t Italian? If it takes an Italian owner or cook to make Italian food, then the only folks who should judge them are Italians, wouldn’t you say? The truth of this place is that it’s decent to good. Not stellar, but you get a LOT for your money and their special items like Chicken Parm Sandwich are pretty yummy. Their Calzones are HUGE. Overall, the food is no worse than any other similar style mall environment place and now that they’ve moved across the street to a small, cramped takeout location, I intend to patronize them as much as possible. I believe in supporting locally owned small businesses like this, especially when they’re as friendly as these people and the food, while not Michelin 3-star, is solid and consistent.

I’ve been eating at this place for years. Mainly because in elementary every Tuesday and Thursday was Pizza Day; the slices came directly from here. When I was a kid, I loved this place. Now I say it’s Mediocre. I eat here about twice a month(I work right down the street and the choices are between Roma, Sbarro’s, and Round Table. It happens to be the quickest, so I take) and it does the trick. Don’t have expectations too high though. Oh, also… The hours are the biggest«WTF?» you could imagine. I close my store around 9pm, walk by it to get to my car, and they will be closed when the hours say they close at 11pm. And Sundays their hours are 5pm — 7pm or something like that. Again, don’t expect too much, but it’ll put pizza you will at least mildly enjoy in your stomach.

Located at Northgate shopping mall, Terra Linda, North San Rafael. I walked past one day when the door was open and the aromas coming out were appetizing. I had memory flashbacks to all the little Italian-American places I ate in growing up in NYC. So I told my spouse, «hey let’s try it for lunch on Saturday». The dining room décor is typical shopping mall ambiance as interpreted by a family as opposed to a KorpKuisine™ chain formula. OK, they get points for that. I ordered spaghetti & meatballs, salad. Wife had pizza. I’m truly sad to report that the food was mediocre. My pasta was no better than Golden Grains. The salad dressing was Kraft Italian outt’a the bottle. The pizza bottom crust was charred, tomato sauce was tartly acidic from canned paste. The owners were in house, they are not Italian. They are nice people. They just can’t cook worth a damn. I can prepare better food than this in a snap even after working a 16 hour shift at the hospital. It is merciful of me to award 2 stars.

Good for cheap Italian food with good portions. I usually get the calzone here, and it usually does the trick. The quality is average. This is more of a takeout kinda place for me, although I have eaten in on a few occasions.
