Imagine your favorite pizza joint from the late ’80’s. Great pizza, great customer service, awesome music, and some arcade cabinets. Now shrink that down and jettison it through a wormhole to present day and you’ve got 3 Martians. Easily my favorite place in the area to grab a couple slices for lunch! Can’t recommend enough.

it’s rare to find a restaurant where great service meets delicious pizza meets perfect ambiance. then you have three Martians pizza. pinball machine? a photo of Yoda in a suit? friendly counter staff? eggplant? yes yes and yes. the only negatives are that there’s no space to sit inside and that they didn’t have enough shirts for us to buy. we can’t wait to come back.

We have loved this place since it opened! With it’s quirky Star Wars photos and arcade machine with a ton of games ambiance. Best of all, thin crust fresh by the slice as you want it pizza! They have gluten free crust option and legit vegan cheese! Finally a place for my kid to eat out! The bearded guy is down to earth and awesome! Can’t say enough good things about the quality pizza! Also, have great salads

Apologies in advance for the lack of photos in this review; I had every intention of getting some… but when the food arrived it just smelled too good and the next thing I knew it was half gone. I’ll admit it, I’m surprised. I’m a bit of a pizza snob, but 3 Martians pizza was just that good. You’d think something as simple as pizza would be hard to **** up; but it’s surprisingly easy to get bad pizza these days. 3 Martians uses quality ingredients… and it shows in the final product. Our pizza had a thin crust, crisp and yet still chewy… great toppings, and a sauce that was flavorful without being an oregano bomb. The Caesar salad was equally good with a homemade dressing(Since it was our first time ordering we got a large… we probably could have gotten away with a small). Just for the hell of it, we finished the meal with the«jumbo brownie combo». Its the turducken of deserts, described as, «a Chocolate Chip Cookie Base, Oreo Middle, Brownie on Top». Do yourself a favor and get one… and then make time to get to the gym… As if all of this wasn’t enough. They deliver in San Rafael… were super nice and the food got here FAST.

WOW! Really good pizza and super fast delivery. My little pizza critics loved it! So happy to have a good delivery pizza place close by.

3 Martians is fantastic and deserves every one of these 5 stars. Brad, the owner, is a super cool guy and very proud of his business. He took over ownership a little over a year ago and has done a great job. The ingredients are fresh — he made a point of showing me the Pineapple they use to roast their own for their pizza. I have since ordered several pizzas and tried the Asteroids and they all have been fantastic! 3 Martians is our new go to pizza place, way better than Amici’s or Extreme and easily rivaling some of the most well known pizza places in the county. You won’t go wrong with 3 Martians!

Excellent ingredients. On-Time and friendly delivery. My family and I really enjoyed this(our first) pizza from 3 Martians. We ordered direct from their site using the very flexible(but a little confusing) system to construct our own 50⁄5016“pie. We went w/ ½ Pepperoni & Bacon ½ Ham and Pineapple The Ham deserves a special mention. This was not your typical chewy over cooked canadian bacon. This was very nice slighly smokey ham like you’d make for dinner. The crust was very nice. Not too crispy not to floppy. The pizza was nicely cooked as well. Many times delivery pizzas are undercooked for some reason. This one was truly read to eat hot and delicious. Good ingredients make good pizzas. I can’t wait to try other specialty pizzas or custom combos in the future. Keep up the good work 3 martians and we’ll be back!

OMG… let me tell you something, I’m from NY. If I tell you something is good, it’s legit good. This place has authentic 100% NY pizza. You see a bunch of pizza places bragging how they have NY pizza, BS. They all do not. This place does have legit NY Pizza. Their oven type is the exact type you will find in NY. I grew up in NY, I know NY pizza and this is it!!! Let me be clear, this is NY Pizza at it’s finest. OMG so good. Their slices are HUGE. It’s really two slices because they have to cut it in half and it’s only $ 5!!! OMG!!! Where in SF can you get a meal for $ 5? Like a good meal!!! This place has the best deal ever!!! The people there are freaking amazing too. Very likable. Totally cool. When I become Mr. Moneybags, I’m gonna hire this guy to open up a chain of pizza’s like this because it’s money. I was told they have great salad too. I wouldn’t know because I’m a man and we don’t eat salads. All the pizza I get from here have at least 3 types of meat and the spirit of football in the pizza. Along with NY Yankees cuz they are the best Baseball team in the world. The only downside to this place is the owner lived in Brooklyn, which is not as cool as Queens, where I am from. But I can overlook this because the pizza is good. If he said he was from Queens, I would have called Unilocal and told them to give this place 6 stars. But he’s from Brooklyn so we can’t do that. I mean, Brooklyn is alright but it ain’t no queens. Let me be clear, they use the freshest ingrediants(4 realz).

Seeing the reviews I was probably unlucky. This was the worst pizza I have ever had. Over salty sauce and disgusting canned mushrooms. After one slice I trashed the whole thing…

I love 3 Martians. The astroids are amaze-balls(ALLOFTHEM), and the sausage/chorizo is my favorite pizza topping. Not big on the chicken pizzas, but the caesar salad always has a heapful of croutons(the only way I can convince my husband to eat a salad). The brownies are crazy good too. The service is always exceptional, and they always have fun paintings on their windows. Such a great local pizza place.

Their name is so weird that it actually kept me a way for a while. One day, I gave in and decided to get a slice for lunch. To my surprise, it was very good. The best part is the crust. I ordered a whole pizza since then and it too was good! Their customer services is warm and friendly and their prices are reasonable!

I called Three Martians Pizza to schedule a delivery to my office as I would not be there. I spoke with Brad, who I believe is the owner… he was very helpful and very proud of his business! I just got rave reviews from my co-workers about the food and delivery service. Generous toppings, very fresh, huge seems that the Veggie pizza was the favorite although I heard great things about the Pineapple and Ham too. Brad let me know that they do not use canned pineapple… it is fresh and grilled :) The salads are super fresh too! Our manager offered a tip and the driver(possibly Brad) declined pointing out that I had already taken care of that…“nice touch of integrity” I heard from a co-worker. Ok…time to open a Three Martians Pizza in Vallejo… we need you!

I ordered 4 or 5 pizzas for a training meeting in downtown San Rafael this week, for CalCPA. The attendees were ecstatic in their reviews of the pizza. We tried pepperoni, cheese, and a vegetarian version with fresh basil, mushrooms, feta cheese and green onions. Yum. Would definitely order again. I personally tried myself, at another time, the gluten free pizza. The crust was good, and the pizza delicious. By the way, compliments to the delivery person as well. We gave him the wrong address initially. He was able to call and get the corrected address and even though the pizzas arrived 10 – 15 minutes later the pizzas were still hot.

No bite was spared. This was my first visit to Three Martians Pizza so I asked for a pizza recommendation, and I acted upon it, ordering the Sausage pizza. There is not a lot of waiting area, so I asked how long so I could explore the rest of the strip mall in the interim and was told ten to fifteen minutes. After braving the crafts store a few doors down for about eight minutes, I returned and my pizza was already ready, awaiting my return. It smelled and looked good. A decent pizza place opens the box and shows you the pizza(especially if they’re not crazy busy), and this is exactly what Three Martians Pizza did. It’s those little things that make a difference. I got back to my place and dove in. The Sausage pizza was really very good, and I especially liked the chorizo. The arugula was also a nice touch — makes a guy like me feels like he can look his wife in the eye and tell her he had a salad with dinner, and the flavor profile blended well. As you may be able to tell, I think the staff did a bang-up job; both the guy who took my order and made a great recommendation, and the gal who displayed my pizza upon my return. The only question I had is where to get a Mr. Spock picture for the coloring contest? I saw one posted on the door, but could not find a stack inside. One final note, I don’t think this is a sit-and-eat place for the family; it’s a grab-and-go(please correct me if I’m wrong).

UPDATE: This place just keeps getting better. I believe they’ve undergone some ownership/management changes and I like them even better than I did before. The menu has been revamped and now has INCREDIBLE mac & cheese, Cuban/Cubano sandwiches, and some great salads. I’ve been ordering from them to my home for years, but decided this week to place a huge order for a work party. They did not let me down! The food arrived hot, flavorful, perfect, and made 35 people very happy. The staff at 3 Martians brought us everything we needed and made me look REALLY good. I’d never had their new mac & cheese before, and it is TODIEFOR. No seriously. Can’t say enough about these folks. So glad they’re in the neighborhood!

I am not sure if their dough is vegan, but I had a vegetarian pizza with Daiya cheese. Whoever was working the counter that day helped me towards the best possible deal. A large pizza with 3 toppings for about 20 bucks, wow. I brought it home to my roommate, and he is a big cow-cheese and meat-eater, and even he enjoyed the pizza.

I ordered delivery and was told it would be about 45 min. wait. I ordered an x-large cosmic caprese the italian deli sub. The food arrived after waiting for two hours and the driver even commented that he couldnt believe it took that long. I tipped him and went into my office to have the pizza. When I opened the box I immediately noticed it was missing two of the three toppings and the pizza was very cold. I called back to voice my frustration and the manager said he can give me 50% credit for next time i order. (I thought to myself… hmmmmn the sub is disgusting and the pizza is cold and even when heated in the microwave its barely mediocre. You couldnt pay me to eat this food.) I said there wont be a next time because this pizza is not good and then he offered to take 20% off my bill. I said please come pick up what you just gave me since im not going to eat it and I want my money back. After several minutes of going back and forth with the manager he finally said sorry, that the pizza cook went home sick and they were having issues in the kitchen. He then refunded me after 15 minutes of me having to lay out how messed up my order was; He then asked if I at least liked the sub and I honestly only ordered it to make my delivery total high enough for the pizza to get delivered. I did not like the sub, the bread was stale and made up the majority of the sandwich and the toppings were pretty awful. Thanks for replying to my review, I assume you are the manager/owner, here;s the details and hopefully it will jog your memory on how crappy the service was that day. original review: Domino’s deserves 5 stars for every one star this place gets. Hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Here’s a tip, get out of the restaurant business and do anything else

This is a review of carry-out from Three Martians Pizza in San Rafael. Three Martians Pizza is located in a small strip mall adjacent to the Northgate Mall. This is a small pizza shop targeted towards carry-out and delivery. There are a couple of outdoor tables but that is all the seating they offer. For me, since I was planning on takeaway, this was not really factored into my overall review. The restaurant was relatively clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. Even though he was getting off, the person that took my order went back in to insure my pizza was coming up. When I ordered, he told me it would be between 15 and 20 minutes. This is very reasonable for e freshly cooked pizza. The actual time was 16 minutes and 18 seconds. Sausage, mushroom and tomato pizza(Medium-14 in) — It is always tough when one aspect of a dining experience torpedoes the entire meal. The sausage was a bit bland. The tomatoes and mushrooms were tasty. The pizza was neatly made and everything stayed in place during the walk home. It was even relatively warm when I arrived at my temporary home at a nearby hotel. Based on this, they would have easily locked in a three star review. Unfortunately though, the pizza dough was overcooked and slightly burned. This negatively affected the flavour of the entire pizza and there was no way of getting around it. The pizza cost $ 23.45. Overall — The friendly and attentive service wasn’t enough to overcome the pizza’s burnt crust. I am tempted to try Three Martians again and see if this was simply a fluke. They also have sandwiches and stromboli. I might be up for trying one of those. But, I will not be rushing back to Three Martians. I paid over $ 20 for a pizza I could barely eat. That didn’t leave a very nice flavour in my mouth.
