Drove by this BDubs and saw the Warriors Cavs game on so I knew it would be busy tonight. But I wasn’t expecting this. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew it was going to be quite the wait — and I was starving(not a good combo.) So after 30 minutes of waiting and listening to loud TVs, I finally got a table. The waiter was friendly and patient taking my order, though it was hard for us to hear over the volume and he was very busy(didn’t even ask if my meal was okay, which was awesome btw — sweet BBQ and honey BBQ boneless wings at halfprice!) This wasn’t my first visit to this BDubs but it wasn’t the best experience on account of the wait and the volume(I’m partly to blame for that, coming during an NBA Finals game.) Overall it was a good visit, and I’m sure I’ll be back to this BDubs again before my hometown gets its own in a few years(Yaaayyy!)

Excellent chicken bbq salad and wings. Excellent service. The music was TOOLOUD. That kills it for me as I have poor hearing and can’t communicate in said environment.

Tried the medium spicy boneless wings and the spicy garlic boneless wings. Both were good however the taste was similar. Come to find out they use the medium sauce for the spicy garlic and add the parmesan garlic with it. You get carrots and celery with the wings. If you go for lunch it’s cheaper to do their lunch special, as you also receive a side for less than just getting wings. Our server Jeremy was friendly and helpful. Recommend trying the place out.

I’ve been to numerous buffalo wild wings locations and the service is always poor. I was here on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm and there were barley any guests eating here. No one ever checked up on us, we had to constantly wave a server over. It was so bad that we had to even get up and grab the server because they were watching TV. The wings are great but BWW needs to improve on their service. Don’t eat here if you’re in a hurry! Side note: You can ask for samples of the wing flavors before ordering and they give you fries to test out the different sauces/flavoring! :)

Not so much for me. Our food was lukewarm and the lettuce wasn’t just tired, it was exhausted. Wings were decent, but I think this is more the kind of place you don’t come to for food. If you like it loud and with lots of sports and beer, you probably don’t care about the food, so disregard my review if that’s the case.

I called into there store today and I ordered some wings for my friend and I. We made the mistake of not giving the time frame that I could come in. I called back about 5 minutes later to give the time frame and I was told by the nice server(Erin I think was her name) that it has already gone through but not to worry she will send it back and have it hot and ready for me when I got there two hours later. This was MY mistake not there’s and they handled it so well. Thank You very much for helping me out for my silly mistake!

First time to a BWW. The place looked great — TVs everywhere, the place 2/3’s full of people noshing on wings, burgers, and beers, cool sports décor, upbeat music. Asked the waitress for help in ordering. Here is what I got on the sizes: Snack($ 9), 8 wings, 1 sauce Small($ 12), 12 wings, 2 sauces Medium($ 18), 18 wings, 3 sauces Large($ 24), 24 wings, 4 sauces Then I showed her a professionally taken picture on their Unilocal page of what looked like the most awesome of wings. She said that looked like a dry seasoning since it wasn’t drowning in sauce. Which I said, sounds good, I want that but the least spicy — plain if possible.(Since I was sharing it with my kids.) What we ended up getting were basically 18 lumps of dry, breaded McD’s chicken nuggets. But way more expensive. Horrible. Nasty. Two thumbs wayyyy down! n

Parking was no fun, but that is related to their location and there’s not much that they can do about that. When we got inside we were very nicely greeted and sat at our table it took a little bit of time to get our drinks ordered but they were pretty busy. Our server was very friendly and patient with us as it was my first time there. They have a very large beer selection. The food took a little bit longer to get there than I would have expected since it is just chicken. The food was okay for what it is but you can tell that the chicken is all prepared then the sauce is added when you order… over all not horrible but the price is outrageous for what you are getting. I’ll go again if my wife makes me.

I know you are craving buffalo wings and that’s the only reason why anyone would even think of coming here, but please, just don’t. My best description is «loud and sad». I have been there twice and I blame them both on other people wanting to go. The service is ridiculous, there seem to be tons of staff people walking around, but yet there is no one to serve you in a timely manner. The first time, my friend asked for super simple stuff like more Ranch dressing and napkins and they never came, they even gave her crap about getting more dressing, saying that you only get 1. The wings are ok. The second time, my husband wanted wings and we got hammered one one beer because we were hungry and that’s how we roll. Our server was surprisingly available and good looking, still, the place was almost empty when we get there and in normal circumstances, you would expect better and faster service. The kid was ok, though. The music was way loud and didn’t match the room’s vibe at all. The crowd was an oddly ethnically diverse group and a couple of fat girls eating their feelings. We had a lot of fun taking note of everything that is wrong with the place and wondering how they stay in business. Overall, I enjoyed the experience but I don’t need to ever come back.

I can’t believe I paid $ 20 dollars for this. I ordered takeout, they said 15−20mins and its took 40 minutes for us to get our food. I usually don’t care about waiting but why tell customers 15 – 20 when it’s not true? It wasnt even busy either. & It seriously looks like they just threw the wings. Oh the carrots on the side are just pathetic. Never again.

My wife and I came in here on a Saturday night around 10pm. There wasn’t many people in here. Maybe 5 tables filled and a few people at the bar. We didnt wait long until someone came to greet us. We were seated and the waitress came soon after to take our drink orders. We both ordered beers and they came within 5 minutes. We did notice that everyone around us had little hand held devices that were given to them by BWW… we weren’t offered these. Hmmm We decided to order the sampler to try a little of everything. I wasn’t impressed. The wings were… so so, not bad but nothing worth going out of my way for. The mozzarella sticks were no different than the microwave ones you can buy at a grocery store, the onion rings were nothing special… and the nachos… um Nope. I like nachos… these tasted like taco bell nachos. Not something I would expect from a sit down sports bar. I would never order their nachos. So very disappointed. Even my wife thought of taco bell when she tried them. As for complaints from other Unilocalers about the music being too loud… for a sports bar it was fine. My wife and I were able to talk to each other just fine and we sat in a booth. So we ordered a few more drinks after we finished our sampler then ordered their pretzel appetizer. It wasnt anything special either. In fact the pretzels looked like little dog turds and the dip that came with them didnt improve the taste at all. Very bla. I am 37 years old and have been to many sports bars and regular bars in my life… this place has nothing that would keep me a regular. Beers are a bit pricey as well. Not a place I would want to sit back and pound a few. Applebees would probably be a better choice and its next door. I will say this though… maybe for the younger 20 somethings this is a good spot only because this is San Luis Obsipo and there aren’t many options like it. Honestly, i like Denny’s better. The sampler is way better at Denny’s also. The music and the TVs make it more lively than Denny’s but its still very bla in my book.

Most of my friends hate B Dubs. I mean, despise, so I was a bit wary about coming here, but in my case, it was a good visit. I was meeting a friend and when I arrived he was seated at a table in the bar, so we were seated immediately LOL The service was slow, but our waiter was very friendly. I had the chicken tenders and shrimp with the salt & vinegar seasoned fries. Those damn fries were the star of the plate. The tenders were tossed in the spicy garlic sauce, which wasn’t all that good. It was rather bitter, which was disappointing. The tenders and shrimp are definitely NOT made from scratch, so that take that for what it’s worth. They were still tasty considering they came from the freezer. The bar area has a ton of big screen TV’s, which is great if you are a sports fan and lots of beer. LOTS. Overall, it was a solid experience and I can see myself going back to another location to try the bone-in wings in another flavor. I would love those fries!

Despite giving this place 2 stars, I’m glad an establishment with the spunk and energy of Buffalo Wild Wings opened up in SLO. That being said, the food is not that great and the service is meh. I’ve come twice since they’ve opened and it seems that the wait staff gets slower with each visit. Everyone seems friendly, but lack the attentiveness and speed needed for a busy upbeat restaurant like Buffalo Wild Wings. As for the menu selections, their wings are a huge disappointment. Their sauces/flavors taste like an after thought. You can actually taste the chicken and rubs separately which I personally do not like for any type of flavored meat. I do like how they have different levels of spiciness, but there’s something really inorganic about their spicing that makes their wings really unenjoyable. Great place to go and watch sports or hang out with a group of friends. Terrible food.

It’s Thursday night, just got off of work. The Warriors are playing the Cavs in the NBA Finals. We’re in San Luis Obispo. It’s Boneless Wing Thursday, we have to go to B Dubs to catch the game. Not knowing how the crowded it would be, we stopped in a bit early, around 5, to catch the 6PM game. We had a group of four people, and were seated easily in a few minutes. It seems like the employees are still getting the hang of things. When we asked to sit at another table, the employee simply said«We’re not seating anyone there right now,» and when we asked to change the channel on the big TV, the employee said«Let me go ask someone if I can do that.» Granted, we came here for the wing deals and happy hour(happy hour lasts until 7), and the food was okay, at least I thought it was a decent value. However, when it came to service and overall presentation, it was mediocre. Our server just was unexcited and didn’t care. I always hope for at least a little passion from the staff at any restaurant. The food is served on disposable trays which kinda sucks, but at least they gave us actual silverware. Oh yeah, ranch or additional sauces costs 60 cents. Onto the atmosphere, there are televisions EVERYWHERE here. I definitely expected this place to get rowdy, but it was pretty calm. Food came a bit slow, and the total bill came to about 48 bucks before tip for 4 people which isn’t bad. Basically, this place reminds me of a glorified wingstop where you can watch the game and grab a beer. Nothing more, nothing less. Hoping in the next few months, they work out the rest of the kinks here.

I like Buffalo Wild Wings… I really do! When you want some greasy bar food and a cold beer, they’re always predictable. Not the best in any given city, but you know what you’re gonna get from Vegas to Columbus. Until you hit SLO. Admittedly, they’re new. I held off on writing anything after my first visit and went back a month or so later. Still underwhelming! The wings were over cooked — almost burned. Turn around time on a beer for a fully staffed restaurant was inexplicably slow. The bar was out of what I ordered and didn’t bother to tell the waitress… They just didn’t pour anything and called it good. Then, there’s the quesadilla. Don’t ever order it here. Ever. Service was clumsy, but aiming to please. They’ll get there with practice. The kitchen has some serious work to be done — I’m not sure how long I’ll wait before my next visit, but I hope it’s long enough. I’m not going to be excited about paying good money for burned wings again.

It’s busy, still new. Everything including the staff was great. The music was a tiny bit too loud, as others had complained. It’s hard to have a conversation with another at your table without yelling. My only real complaint is I asked for a side a lemon which they were happy to bring. And as I looked at it I thought it looked a little iffy but I’m now regretting it. So my suggestion would to be practice proper food safety with all food including garnish because a dirty lemon can cause a lot of damage! Still I think I may return.

So it’s been a rough start for BWW in SLO. That must be said. But as a long time fan and someone who’s been to various locations dozens of times let me say, this place will get better quick. It’s a corporate chain yes, but that doesn’t mean their food isn’t worthy. Their wings are still awesome. Really. The fried pickles the best around. Wedges. Great. Fries. Tasty. If you want something besides wings, beer and fried snacky goodness try somewhere else. These guys do wings. And I love them. The service is bad. The wait times horrendous. Just be patient. It’ll come around. I’ve been twice so far and my second visit was better than my first and I’m sure my third will be better than my second.

Our server’s name tag was«missing»…and from reading this Unilocal page I can see why ;) So this was the second Buffalo Wild Wings I’ve been to. The other one was like in Folsom I think… I didn’t get wings that time so this is essentially the first time. I anticipated something like WingStop but since Buffalo Wild Wings has so much hype I even expected more. Food: Boneless Wings are dry/bready. I didn’t wanna get my hands dirty and now I can honestly say — get your hands dirty because it might be worth it! Mac N Cheese was gross, it was basically soup. The heat consistency was weird, cold on the top, hot on the bottom. Not impressed. Asian Zing is probably the best flavor though. Service: Because of the uniforms it’s easy to identify the employees. There are so many and yet the service is slow and awful.
