Prompt, courteous and enjoyable atmosphere. Love the cup of Fideo provided prior to dining. Maura is an excellent host along with her co workers. The food is delicious and the establishment is clean and pleasant.

I have been in San Antonio for the past 6 months. I have eaten at lots of places. Jalisco style, Mexican, Tex-​Mex, all of them pretty good. Los Arcos is on a level on its own. Everything that was on my plate was the best thing I’ve had. It was amazing. Bold flavors, great spices, and they weren’t afraid to bring the heat. I will be back here again.

Great little small place. Capped off a great week and made it even better. Excellent food and amazing prices. Would definitely recommend this place. People you cant get here soon enough. Trust me.

Los Arcos is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants, in terms of quality, quantity, and especially price. Hardly anything bad on their menu, and the staff is always friendly and nice. Their fideo is amazing, the chilequiles with chicken is equally great! Carlos and Letty always make you feel welcome, as do all of the servers!

I went here today with a friend– she got the migas plate, I had the huevos rancheros with barbacoa. I was excited to try this place after reading the reviews, but we were both really disappointed. The salsas were blah as were the chips. Our meals really were nothing to write home about. I felt like I could have made all of it at home with no effort. It was cheap, but that’s about all I can say in the positive. Everything was really plain and lacked flavor.

Good food served by friendly staff. I would give 5 stars but the parking is horrible (although not their fault) and the hours are semi-​unpredictable. Nothing at all wrong with service or food.

Friendly & fast staff. I enjoyed the poblano enchiladas, again. The chicken was tender and the amount of sauce was perfect. (I always hate when there isn’t enough sauce to have on each bite.) The beans were flavorful and rice was moist.
I’ll be back again and again.

Was staying with some family in the area and was looking for some good breakfast tacos in the morning. Los Arcos was just around the corner and had good coffee and great breakfast tacos. I ordered 2 bacon, egg & potato breakfast tacos to go and was served quickly with fresh tacos. Very tasty, bacon was crisp and eggs and potatoes were great too! Looked like they had a huge menu, would definitely come back and try for lunch or dinner. Small place, but seems like a good place to order ahead and pick up.

I go to Los arcos all the time, breakfast, lunch and dinner — although usually not in the same day (but sometimes).
Owner greets me by name, staff is friendly, efficient and fast!
food is consistent and consistently GOOD!
my faves are their asada tacos — small bits of beef cooked til brown placed in thin corn tortillas, grilled onions and peppers too if u like —delicious! Great with the avocado salsa. and cheese enchiladas — the sauce is unique and very flavorful — not your average Tex-​mex taste.

Get the Judson plate. It’s a lot of food for a little money. But eat the crispy taco right away or it will turn into a soggy softy taco. Mm mm good. My boyfriend and I are regulars here now the staff always say hi and greet us with a smile. Great neighborhood eatery.

Breakfast is the gem!!! Owner always greets me every time. He keeps this place friendly. The food, is good to go and affordable.

This is an awkward review.
On one hand (mine), I love this place. We came here hoping to get some good food based upon reviews. MY lunch as great. I had an enchilada special and my enchilada was perfect! Spicy, full of flavor, with fresh ingredients.
On another hand (my husband’s), was incredibly disappointed. He ordered the steak special. The waitress asked how he would like it cooked, he replied medium. What was presented was a charred, chewy, rip it apart with your teeth, overcooked piece of meat. It should have never been brought out. Technically, it was cooked past «well done». In defense of the cook, the steak was very thin. But I don’t believe that this piece of meat should have been presented.
Everything else on his plate was phenomenal he said. We both really enjoyed the soup that is given at the start of your meal with the chips and salsa.
We will return, just not to order steak.

Authentic mexican. Table ordered the Mexican plate, really good cheese enchiladas and super fresh tostada. I had 2 barbaco tacos and a asada taco, both great. I put lime, salt, cilantro, and Ted sauce on them. Some of the best tacos I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot. Staff was great too and prices reasonable. Would definitely go here again.

The service was great and the food was better. I saw reviews on Unilocal and decided to try it out and am very pleased with everything. It was clean, fast and the food was hot and very tasty. The prices were good $ 4.99-$ 8.99 for plates etc. I will be back again!!! Loving this hole in the wall.

I absolutely love this place!!! All of the food I have ever eaten here is great!!! The staff is friendly and very attentive. I have eaten breakfast and dinner here and both meals here are amazing. The turn around time from placing your order to hit food on your table is minimal. if your in the mood for great Mexican food come here!!!

I’ve recently moved to San Antonio from Virginia Beach and I have been finding it difficult to acclimate. I’ve been craving Mexican food since moving so I stopped in yesterday with my son while killing time and the ladies were absolutely wonderful! For the first time since moving I finally felt comfortable– I never expected that at a restaurant! And my baby boy just flirted away with the employees! They were so friendly
On to the food — what it is really important. You get soup before hand. I enjoyed it. For my meal, I had enchiladas rancheras, safe but delicious and my son, who has a milk protein allergy, had a chicken fajita taco on corn tortilla (they were very accommodating!). He didn’t eat all of his food, of course, because he was too busy flirting so I ate some and it was very good! Very flavorful!
We will be back!

A great place for Mexican food! Everything is great, I especially love the tortilla soup. They are friendly and fast and that keeps a line out the door! Los arcos has had my business for a quite some time and I’ll continue to dine– There are a TON of options for Mexican food, but nothing is comparable. I promise!
