I am returning to review this restaurant after a year. My family and I have been coming here for many years, and I’ve been very faithful to this restaurant. The servers were familiar the food was always on point as well. I don’t know what happened the last couple of months but they have landslide in well below expectations. The last seven times we have been there the order is wrong every single time. Every time my family and I wanted Mexican food we went here. We have been so faithful to our neighborhood restaurant that even after the first couple of mistakes on orders we keep going because we are used to the place. Today was the last straw, they are constantly forgetting to put stuff in our orders and the flavor is no longer there. I will be going to me Pueblo or some other place in the area I am done with this place which is sad because it used to be the gym of the area. If the owner is reading this you need to sort out your place because it’s getting unpopular very quick, and honestly you have the new staff to thank for that.

Today will be my last time at this place. Tortillas and chips were store bought, the salsa verde on the enchilada was extremely runny as was the refried beans. The chicken in the enchilada was very bland.

I am a very very picky person! The bacon and egg tacos are freaking awesome! Never had any problems… will continue to go when I visit San Antonio!

Been here many times. Today was my last. Who are the chefs at this place? Fire them. Get new ones who CARE about the food they are plating. Took my drive through order home to find my beef taco thrown into the box with more oil than I’ve ever seen on a taco. Inedible… trashed it. My torte was the wrong order and literally barely had any meat on it. We used to go here all the time. Do yourself a massive favor and go a little further down to El Jalisco where the food is amazing!!! They go the extra mile and make amazing food. Two stars for Bandera Jalisco because of two things: the rice is good and the girls are always friendly. Won’t be back though.

The reviews on here are way off. This is the best Mexican Food place in the area. I go here way to often. Been here at least 1 time a week over the last 2 years. Never had any bug problems. The food is authentic. If you think TC or the bell is the best then this might not be your place cause its real mexican food. You know you are at a good mexican restuarant when all the employees are hispanic and so are most of the patrons, thats what this place is, good authentic mexican food. The food is always hot, I can get in and out in under 40 minutes at peak business times. Fast friendly service. i have never had a bad meal here. There breakfast tacos are great as well. i recommend the Texas Plate and The jalisco burrito plate. There salsa rocks, usually has 4 types to choose.

too bad. The food just barely makes it. Service is terrible. Plan on waiting for ever for simple meals. Three times in the Drive-Thru waited for 20 minutes. Last time I called from the car and asked what the problem was. I just left. The should close the drive thru if they are not going to service it.

I eat here twice a week. Their food is pretty good. Here are some of my favorites to order. Great barbacoa, flautas plate, shrimp cocktail, combination plate with flank steak and grilled shrimp. I love their green hot sauce. Place is always packed too. m

I LOVE their food; however, their«drive-through» isn’t really a drive-through… it’s more of a «sit in your car and wait 20mins to get your food, oh, and by the way if you are stuck behind another vehicle, there is no way for you to give up on them and just dive off». I just came back home after waiting 15mins in the drive-through waiting to get my carne asada burrito. I am quite agitated right now.

The only reason our family comes here is because the food is cheap, and its as close to authentic as it gets for the price. The service is almost non-existant, even belligerent at times. Depending on the time of the year, the whole dining room will be swarming with flies, and then we just turn around and go somewhere else.

I usually go to mi durango for breakfast tacos, but it snowed last night and they are closed. We ordered carne guisada and the migas plate. The prices are good… only 6 $. Not the best atmosphere but its just a little taco place and apparently the serve margaritas now. The food was not bad, but nothing special. I’ll stick to my usual.

A friend of mine had taken me here for breakfast or more like she picked the place and I paid… not sure how that happened. The food is decent and the prices are quite inexpensive. They have a wide variety of items that are very traditional. As for me, I didn’t feel like having real Mexican food so I ordered pancakes and eggs. Yes I know I should have ordered something else but I have the tendency to pick different items. I would have given the place 4 stars but my pancakes had a nopal. I am sure it was by accident, but once bitting into that I lost my appetite. The food wasn’t bad, wouldn’t mind going if someone else is paying. It was a pretty good morning and I was still content at the end.

How do you mess up a bean and cheese taco? Ew. The beans were runny and flavorless, and the tortilla had a distinctly burnt taste(although it was just really crispy). They did let us go ahead and order off the breakfast menu even though breakfast had ended 10 minutes earlier. Also, the girl working the drive-thru was nice. I’m pretty sure I will never be back. The prices were alright, but shoot, even Taco Cabana’s tacos are better.
