This location is always a hit or a miss for me. Sometimes we get excellent service and thats usually when I am with my husband because he knows all of the staff. But there are times we go like yesterday and I literally had to repeat everything I said to my waitress 3 times and she would still forget to bring some of our order out. On top of that the drive through is the worst! They have one of the longest wait times in the Alamo ranch area. I’m just frustrated because I love some of the food here just sometimes not worth the hassle

Well, breakfast sucks here, bland no flavor, potatoes hard and coffee warm. Looks like this won’t be our choice for breakfast. Done here!

Had a late, great breakfast with my best friend during the week of Christmas. I had the chilaquiles plate which was loaded with food and very good. Or maybe it was because my BFF was there to make it better. Either way, we got our food fast and the waitress was very attentive. It’s a great location to grab a bite in a busy shopping area.

I ate the breakfast tacos this morning and they are the bomb. I got bacon and egg with red sauce. It’s great! I should of asked for cheese but I think it’s the only thing it was missing I was ordered and leaving long within 4 minutes! Very fast and great! Enjoy!

Out of all the locations, this one has the worst chef. The food is nasty. Best location, worst cook! Makes great business. Food is old and stale and just nasty. Won’t be back

There has been a big change here. We don’t know what happened but the food quality is not good. We stopped going for at least six months and decided to give it another try the other day. Again, our food was very greasy. And the flavor is not good. We aren’t planning to come back anymore.

I had a burrito here and it was great Didn’t fall apart, and the guac was fresh and not gross! Great beans and not bad drive thru service

Drive thru was fast and friendly. I’m trying to stick to a gluten free diet so I ordered breakfast tacos on homemade corn tortillas. The tortillas were really good! Will definitely be going back for breakfast.

Giving this place 4 stars because the chamoy Margarita is amazing!!! My husband ordered the Mexitini and it was delicious! Only food we got was a notams platter and it was decent. Plain old nachos next time!

Enchiladas Crema are amazing! And the chicken tortilla soup is good as well. It’s better to get this food to go, the inside is loud and not very clean and the service isn’t great. But it’s cheap delish Mexican food!

Super long wait for drive thru, and the lady was super rude! Tacos were cold for being wrapped in foil and not only that, we ordered bean and cheese and chorizo and egg tacos and it literally had no egg and the beans were not mashed properly at all.

Not a fan. First and last time trying this place. It wasn’t so much that they forgot to give me tortillas in my to-go order or the fact my husband was given beans instead of double rice like he asked. I am just not a fan of sweet tasting beef fajitas. There I said it. I do not like them! Their salsa wasn’t good either(the brown one). When you ask for salsa they ask, «Red, green, or brown?» It was not spicy at all. Also their agua fresca de jamaica was sweet but bland. I could not taste the jamaica at all. All in all I’ll pass and go to Taco Cabana down the street.

I use Alamo Ranch drive-thru for lunch, and the new Legacy Trails location for dining in on the weekends. The service is very quick, and food just delicious. This morning, I ordered the Okie Burrito in the drive thru. I like to track my calories, so I think this huge monster taco will be my full day’s requirement. Nothing wrong with using all of my day’s nutrition on something so wonderful! The gravy sounded strange to have on a burrito, but it’s their enchilada sauce. The only other item I ever eat here is the chili con carne enchilada plate, cheese enchiladas. Ask for chips and salsa, because sometimes it’s brought out, and sometimes I have to ask. But I wouldn’t even take away a star for that.

Decent food for a fast joint, and comfort than I expected walking in. You actually sit down and order with someone attending to your table. I thought Las Palapas was more of a fast food, self-order restaurant, but I actually enjoyed this experience. The server was even friendly and quick with refills. I tried the Green Enchiladas, which were better than Mama Margie’s, but definitely not 4⁄5 star quality. Quick, cheap, easy option with benefit of drive-thru. 5 stars= Driving across town just for this! 4 stars= I would recommend visiting. 3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.

Great service, food is great but if you are looking for a good Menudo spot. This is not the place. Very bland and watered down. Visit the Las Palapas on 35 and Walzem for an example of how it should be made.

This place used to be really good tortillas were fluffy and fajitas were tasty, chips and hot sauce were really good. I came thru the drive thru and ordered some tacos and a tea. When I arrived home mind you I live very close. The tortilla was super thin, not homemade at all. Fajitas beef and chicken were greasy and dry. The egg was green in my pot &egg the tea tastes old. For the price they should really strive to for perfection.

Came on a Saturday afternoon… Order was up pretty fast, food was fresh and Lemonade is the best here! Salsa bar was kept up and tables were also kept up with. Staff was constantly walking around checking tables salsa bar and cleaning up floor… RR’s were also very clean :) Would recommend for a quick bite to eat! My only complain was there is never much parking here but you could park in the back if you don’t mind a little walk.

First visit and the order was a pick-up. Ordered the fish taco dinner and the fish was a catfish substitute which wasn’t very good. The condiment mainly consisted of salsa(not included) in the to go bag. However, the beans and rice tasted pretty good. I couldn’t in good conscious née commend this restaurant to my friends.

Was visiting San Antonio and stopped in for a quick lunch. I was seated, got my chips, salsa, and water within 5 minutes of me being there! Never have I received lightning speed service in my life! They had a very inexpensive chicken fajitas for about $ 6, and I was in a rush so that worked out fine. The food arrived within another 10 minutes. The quantity of food was not that much(hence the price) and the quality was blah. I guess you get what you pay for. I doubt I will order that again. Service was excellent though, I may come by again if I am in the neighborhood again.
