This has become our favor fast food burger stop. Food is fresh, hot, and kitchen is open so you can see how your food is prepared. Fries are great and so are their shakes. Staff look neat, wear gloves and hair is covered. This is not so in many fast food places so appreciate it.

One of the best cheat meals you can have when cutting calories. 4×4 protein style is a winner for throwing on muscle during a cut.

The burgers are good and I like that the fries are not frozen, even though I’m not a big fan of the fries. The service is always good and usually quick. It is still fairly new to town so it’s still pretty busy but they do a good job keeping up. The prices are fair and I like the simplicity of ordering. They only have burgers and fries and shakes/sodas so it makes it easy.

Grew up with in and out around so I don’t understand the excitement. It’s fast food no matter the spin. It’s simple, it’s fast and it’s cheap. They pride themselves on fresh cut fries. Does that mean they are healthy? No they are still deep fat fried. As if they are not fattening enough I usually get them animal style–(smothered in thousand island, melted cheese and grilled onion). Drove out here for late night grub and got exactly what we wanted. A double double made with grilled onions, and animal fries as I mentioned above. The burgers here are small compared to Whataburger so if you are super hungry get the double double. Overall experience was good this location at night is a little sketchy so ladies I suggest taking a buddy or staying in your car. Side note: When I have my dogs in the car I order them a doggy burger– basically they give me a patty with no seasoning.

A double-double animal style is a treat when you don’t have In-N-Out at home. Perfect flat top grilled cheeseburger with crisp lettuce and tomato and that sauce is perfectly tangy. It was so worth the burned roof of my mouth! I didn’t get fries, but have enjoyed them in the past. Really friendly workers, and they have their act together! Good prices as well.

This is by far the best burger ever made. It is absolutely fresh, made from fresh ingredients that come from their own farm. The fries is freshly cut in the store right before they fry it.

Excellent burgers and fries. Animal style! My wife and I were looking for a simple cheap date night out and then back to the house to watch Gone Girl on Blu Ray. We both had the Animal style cheeseburger and Animal style fries.(Not on the menu.) Each time we’ve been here before we went through the drive thru and by the time we got home the burgers and fries were cold and not so great. When they’re fresh off the grill, they’re really good! And even though the place was line-out-the-door slammed tonight because of a bus load of kids from some local school, the line moved quick and we luckily even found a place to sit(flat out miracle with a whole bus load of kids in the place.) So, we walked in, ordered, and sat down within about three minutes. And it only took about another 6 or 7 minutes for our order to come out. Great experience and great food. My wife was impressed enough to text her friend and tell her about it. Only downside was the incredible traffic on Culebra due to the construction on 1604. But it was date night, so we just enjoyed each other’s company and took it easy while the traffic crawled.

I finally tried this place for the first time since its grand opening in San Antonio over a year ago. After eating the food, I feel sorry for people who waited an insane amount of time after it first opened. The food here is definitely not worth more than a 10 minute wait. For a fast food burger, it is pretty tasty. The fries need a lot of help! I can see why people recommend ordering them animal style because they are flavorless on their own. I would recommend getting the double-double if you’re a «hearty» eater or you’re just really hungry. The single party cheeseburger and hamburger should be enough for most people. I really like that the service is fast and the workers are very friendly. The prices are also pretty good. Will I start going here over whataburger? No. I hate to be the person to compare the two, but whataburger is still my favorite fast food burger place. But, In N Out still has a decent burger and is a solid choice if you’re looking for a quick bite in the area.

First time here and really enjoyed it. I didn’t really care for the fries but who really comes here for the fries. I can’t wait to have one of these in my side of town. Will be coming back again

Pretty good if you want a cheap and tasty fast food hamburger. The animal stylings are pretty good. I think the fries actually need it because they are so soft and plain. I didn’t know you could ask for them extra crispy but definitely do that. The burger itself gets 4 stars. It’s moist and tasty. I would definitely get a double double next time. The single patty was way too thin. If you are hungry, a single burger probably won’t fill you up. Burger plus fries will but the fries suck so get a double double at least. The animal style is just cheese, grilled onions and this special sauce(creamy thousand island). My friends and I are more chile cheese on fries kind of people so we weren’t too crazy about it. Tip– we came around 9:30pm and there was no wait. I think it made the trip more enjoyable because if I had to wait 15 — 30 mins for this tiny hamburger and I was hungry… This review would be totally different. Still, I came with friends and we sat outside on a breezy evening so I definitely enjoyed my outing. Their outdoor seating is really nice… Stone benches and tables with a cover. I would come back again if I was hungry late at night.

If you are craving the professionally crafted burger patty of In-N-Out minus the buns, onions and vegetables. Order up the Flying Dutchman consisting of 2 patties and one cheese! Excellent with a side of spread!

sooo so so happy in-n-out chose to come to san antonio [the city that never seems to get any cool restaurants or stores]! although this location is pretty far out there, i appreciate having the option to grab a late night burger or shake and i won’t complain too much considering the previous closest option was somewhere in arizona. service here is stellar although they can get busy and you might have to wait a little longer than at the typical fast food joint. but it’s always worth it! and unless you live super close, don’t bother grabbing it to go and waiting to get home to eat your burger. it’s not the same! so much better when it’s hot and fresh. double double with extra veggies, grilled onions, and an extra toasted bun + animal fries + neopolitan shake. get in my belly! [oh and random side note, if you do plan on dining in, bring a jacket! it’s always freeeeezing in here.]

Finally popped my In-N-out cherry. It might not be in California, but san Antonio is better i think :) Double double, animal style please! With a side of fries… oh yeah, animal style fries too, the only way to go. This is the only In-N-Out in SATX so it was super crowded, and on top of that, it was New Year’s day. New Year, New Double Meat! Stood in line which was moving fast, the staff was super friendly and very attentive and patient to n00bs like myself. We ordered, paid and waited for our meals. Not a very long wait at all — we got our meals in trays, and the best part… the burger was halfway wrapped in wax paper. I have a thing for handheld noms wrapped in foil or wax paper. As i bite into the ginormous burger, i could already taste how juicy and fresh the meat patties were. The delicious marrying of crisp lettuce, tomatoes and the animal style sauce was perfection. It was definitely everything i have ever thought In-N-Out would be… fresh burgers that i can wrap my baby hands around. It wasn’t too overwhelming or greasy. I didn’t finish the burger though :(But every bite was worth all the instagram pictures i drooled over prior to this occasion. The fries were good… i must say i did ignore the fries because of how amazing the burger was… so i don’t really remember the fries so much. This place definitely is at the very top of my burger must have list. I hope In-N Out works their way to the east coast soon! I will be all about it.

It’s been about 20 years since my last In-N-Out Burger and it’ll probably be another 20(if ever) before I have another. I cannot think of a more overrated establishment in the entire world as In-N-Out. The owners must be sitting behind their oak desks shaking their heads and just praying that this momentum continues. My better half decided she wanted some fries. I mentioned that the In-N-Out is supposed to have good fries and shakes, which she also loves. So it was settled… I hysteria has plummeted significantly and I was able to park in their lot and walk right up to the counter. Having not been to an In-N-Out for more years than cashier has been alive, I asked for her recommendation which resulted in the #1 — a Double Double(not Animal Style) but with a strawberry shake. The order came to around $ 7.50. OK, so they’ve never learned how to wrap a burger which means, even on a To-Go order, half your burger is getting cold because it’s not wrapped. In-N-Out Burger must be run by wizards, I tell ya — I mean, what a marketing gimmick! I know what you’re thinking, «Nah, bro… Ya gotta eat it hot and fresh, right after they hand it to you!» I doubt it would have made a difference as I live literally 3 minutes away. We started with the strawberry shake while driving home. The first thing that struck me is McDonald’s! This shake, just like McDonald’s shakes, tastes artificial, was not thick at all, and I dare say, containing no real ice cream — but who knows… It certainly didn’t taste like it had any ice cream in it. The shakes right across the street at Sonic blow In-N-Out’s shake away! When we got home we started on the fries. Awful. If you could fry particle board and make it look like a French fry, that’s what these fries tasted like. Not sure if that’s how they always taste but, not so sadly, I’ll probably never know. «But they were cold, bruh!» Yeah, they were a bit cold but even cold McDonald’s fries are pretty dang good but these fries from In-N-Out were horrendously bad. OK, so now the non-Animal Double Double. Meh… It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t real good either. In fact, it tasted just nearly every non-franchised fast food burger I’ve ever had. Again, it wasn’t bad but certainly, had I spent 2 hours in line for this thing, I’d have shat myself! I mean, if you’re an In-N-Out fanboy and this burger, these fries, and that shake, are to you the representation, the embodiment, of the greatest burger franchise in these great United States, then you might want to get out more! I mean, really? The burger literally tasted just like a Sonic double cheeseburger sans the Thousand Island dressing. I don’t have a horse in this In-N-Out Burger vs. Whataburger race as I am neither from California nor am I from Texas(grew up in Washington State) but I know what I like and In-N-Out Burger is so pedestrian, as to be indistinguishable from virtually any mom-n-pop burger joint in any city in these United States. Don’t buy into the hype and the hysteria; In-N-Out Burger, while admittedly very popular, is nothing more than a very ordinary burger, sub-par fries, terrible shakes, and the most well know«secret menu» in the history of secret menus.

I heart INO!!! I’m so glad that they are finally here in SA!!! Every time I was in CA, I would get my «double double» fix, but now I can get it here!!! Kudos to all the employees and the security staff working together to handle the huge crowds and the staff for being polite and respectful, a trademark of INO! INO also supports many local organizations such as the Red Cross, The Salvation Army, child abuse prevention programs, and several more programs. Can’t wait for their second location to open. I’m sure it will be as busy as the first.

Now that you’re in San Antonio, you might as well grab a burger from the over hyped(because you’re in Texas) California based In-N-Out Burger. Everyone’s talking about it. Everyone’s reviewing it. Love the pix of the long lines, suckas! I waited less than 20 minutes for my burger and fries. 9:45 on Wednesday morning, baby! Everyone wants to act like they know all the secrets. Let me let you in on a little secret, if everyone knows about it. IT’S NOT A SECRET! You’re not the only person who’s been to an In-N-Out burger. So just enjoy your burger and animal style fries. You waited days, months, years, maybe decades for one to be in our town. Compare them to all the other burger chains and cry about it some more, people. One of these days, In-N-Out in San Antonio will be like all the other In-N-Outs across the country and people will still say how awesome it is regardless of how long you waited in line that one time when it first opened.

So excited In N Out Burger open here in San Antonio, I lived in LA for 4 years and I missed these burgers. The burgers and fries are so good, if your a burger and fries lover and I know you are and if you haven’t had a In N Out Burger give it a try. These burgers are not watered down are not masked with condiments, and the fries, you can’t get fresher fries anywhere else. They are cutting these while they’re taking your order. For anyone blabbing about these burgers aren’t good, is cause they have no pallet and use to eating junk and are clueless at what is really good. Are these the best burgers? No but they are better then what’s around. Burger 10⁄10. Fries 10⁄10
