This place is always wonderful, but even more fantastic with Toni the manager taking care of us! We’re obnoxious customers with funky orders, but she was super patient and helpful! We’ll come back again and again just because of how well we were treated today!

I absolutely love Freddy’s, it is so good, I love the burgers, fries, shakes, everything about it but I give it a 3 star because when I went a couple times I had this lady and she seemed very unhappy to be taking my order, she had star tattoos under her arm, she doesn’t wear a t-shirt but a black button up usually which in my opinion would think she’s a manager and she has been rude to me on two separate occasions, I work in the restaurant business and I understand not wanting to be there too much but me personally I don’t let that show, this woman does, she lets everyone know just how unhappy she is to work there, you can tell in her voice. Like I am such a bother to order food from there. It honestly makes me not want to go to the Alamo ranch location anymore because that is where these occasions happen. Other than her, everything is great.

Places like this don’t usually interest me cause it looked like a chain store. It will probably be around cause kids like this kind of food. Shameful the food wasn’t as good as the service and the hot dog I had came with no condiments like onions, pickles, relish just catsup and mustard. If you wanted chili it was .75 extra. Thats’s not an American style hot dog or hamburger, and the dogs texture was hard and dry. My first and last time there. Should have gone with my first instincts like Buen Taco and now it’s gone.

Freddy’s is hands down the best fast food around. Burgers are cooked to order and are delicious. I really enjoy putting the crispy fries in the Freddy sauce. Looking for something quick and good on the cheap, try Freddie’s.

Dined here a few times on a weekend and have been pleased with the service. But… the floors under the booth table i sat at was extrenely dirty the last time I went so I dinged a star. Would give them another shot. Food has always been good and decent wait time to get it.

I decided to give this location another try and was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and waited over 10 minutes at the window for someone to even acknowledge me and take my payment when I was the only person in the whole drive thru. I had ordered some concretes and when the woman handed them to me she hadn’t bothered to even wipe the ice cream off of the outside of the cups so it was running all down the sides. It got all over my hands and car and she didn’t even give me napkins. It was a horrible experience and I will not be going back there.

I’m giving them four stars as I give them credit for being the only fast food restaurant I know of that actually makes a veggie burger. And it’s a good burger! You can order it with or without cheese and I like their skinny fries. The food is also not excessively greasy. Hubby loves to stop by and get a concrete now and then and he loves them. The service is good and fast. We definitely keep coming back on the rare occasion that we eat fast food.

The first thing I have to mention is our experience during our most recent visit. We had paid for our food and were sitting waiting for it to be ready. The cashier walked over to the table and handed me some cash, explaining that she had overcharged me on one of our shakes. I could hardly believe it! They have excellent employees, and they are honest, too! We discovered Freddy’s about a year ago. If you’re wanting a thick juicy burger, this isn’t the place for you. However, I immediately loved their thin crispy burgers. I have always been leery of burgers being undercooked. That is never an issue here and the flavor is excellent! Their fries are my all-time favorite — super crispy, and never floppy. My husband grew up in Utah, and has loved fry sauce since childhood. This is the first place in Texas he has found it. The shakes — nice and thick, and the concretes(ultra-thick shakes) are awesome! You can request a half and half which is half chocolate, half vanilla. I am a diehard chocoholic, but their chocolate shakes are too chocolatey for me so the half-and-half is perfect. When you request a mix-in, they add a liberal amount. Finally, the restaurant is consistently sparkling clean!

Ok quick lunch trip. Food is fresh! They were so nice enough to cut my burger in half so I can share with my sister. The shoe string fries are crisp, salty and so tasty! I’ll be back soon!

I’m an avid Freddy’s fan. I’m very picky about where I get fast food. Their burgers are a nice big portion and their fries are well seasoned. It’s a pretty unique place and they have yet to disappoint me.

I was craving a good burger and decided to come here. I got the triple steakburger because I was hungryyyyy! Lol. It was ok. Nothing to write home to your friends and family about. The fries weren’t my cup of tea. They were to small and overcooked. I got the Hawaiian delight sundae and it was again, ok. Definitely not cold stone. I’d come here again and give them another chance because they weren’t THAT bad.

Wow! Up until the time I bookmarked this place to try, I had no idea it was a chain! It came up when I was searching for places to eat while staying in San Antonio. Now, it all males sense… We visited this place just as it was opening at 10:30 am, before heading to the San Antonio Zoo. First off, there seems to only be teens behind the counter and back-of-the-house, the tables were half cleaned with what smelled and looked like a dirty towel(had to go out to the car and get wipes to clean the tables and seats), the ketchup dispenser had what looked to be week old, dried up blackened ketchup on the nozzle. Ugh! We had the original burger and my kiddo had a hot dog. Well… the burgers were certainly nothing to right home about and lacked flavor. The bun was the only highlight of the burger. My son could only muster the strength to chew down half of the hot dog, as it was very rubbery. It seems to have been seared on the grill(on one side) and not really heated through-and-through. Maybe I’ll try a Houston area location and see if the experience is better. Maybe.

This is my wife’s favorite«fast food» place. She loves the hotdog and the concretes. She likes the PBJB and craves it a lot. Honestly I don’t like the food too much because I don’t think it has a lot of flavor but the fries are some of the best around! Enjoy.

Had a groupon for this and OMG they give you so much for your money it is beyond me to eat all of it. Fries were great as was my burger, the dessert we couldn’t even finish. The service was excellent. Definitely will be back.

There chili dogs were really good, the french fries we didn’t really like they were like shoestring french fries really small. The chocolate shake is pretty good and it was fast and convenient.

I’m not a big hamburger eater but these are delicious! They are thin patties are toasted buns. The fries are thin and nice and crispy. The ice cream is good and they have many options.

I go here fairly often bc I love Freddy’s and it’s the only one near my house, but this specific one does typically leave something to be desired. The employees aren’t rude but aren’t professional(think MCD’s, BK, etc), and the place is dirty and sticky, like the only wipe stuff down once a day, which is specifically why I don’t usually eat here, I do take-out. I think it’s because the one I used to frequent(will not be mentioned) was top notch cleanliness and service. I do go back here but I ins myself always wishing it was better.

Let’s see it’s usually not this bad, but you know how people talk about the bad experience and not the good. Well here goes. Stopped by after a night out with the wife. Ordered one Sunday, one concrete, and fries. Waited I swear to you in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Gave my credit card to the young man running the drive thru register who obviously was being trained handed me back the card closed the window I looked at my wife and said«bet you 5 bucks the ice cream is melted and the fries are cold» dammit I should of had an extra five bucks cause sure enough my custards were melting And the fries were cold. Whomever made the decision to train the new guy on a Saturday night NOTSMART

First thing — when the sun is setting it glares off the menu at your face, burning your eyes. To the drive thru employee I encountered today: I’m so terribly sorry that I didn’t have the menu memorized like the 50 other fatty’s you serve during your shift. So give me a freaking break to figure out what I want, while the sun burns my eyes. On to the food. What a disgusting patty melt! The burger had zero flavor, there were maybe 4 strands of onion, and the cheese was chunky — a far cry from the definition of «melt». It was so squished! When I opened the box I thought half of the melt was left behind! Maybe the burgers are better? If they’re used with the same flavorless meat then I highly doubt it. I do like their«concretes» though!

Officially this was my second visit to Freddy’s but nearly 2 years had passed between visits. No I remember why. I ordered up the«double» steak burger as I was feeling quite peckish. I got the«combo» for a couple of bucks more. When they called my number, my initial ocular impression of the burger was quite positive. Never judge a book by its cover. The«double» burger had two of the thinnest hamburger patties on the planet. At about a ¼ inch(if that) each in thickness, I wondered if I had just been done dirty. I mean, they certainly charged me an adequate amount of cash for a «double» burger but surely this isn’t what passes for a «double» in any other establishment I have dined at. As I bit into my burger, the first thing I tasted was a very nice crunchy char around the edges of the burger, followed by the crunch of the fresh lettuce and pickles. That’s when the magic left the building. Beyond the burnt ends of the burger, were 2 very thin and ultimately bland patties. Nothing could save this burger, not the cheese, nor the toasted bun; the burger was a bust. I turned my attention to the fries unlike any I have experienced before. My first impression was that the fries were as thin as the burger patties. That’s not right. Then I tried them. Confirmed. Worst fries ever! Not only were they thin but they were too crispy — obviously due to frying such a thin French fry. I attempted to align 10 fries together, before dipping them in «Freddy’s Sauce» a not too uncommon concoction of ketchup and mayonnaise, but nothing was going to save these fries. My wife ate the all-beef hotdog. It was served in a toasted New England style bun. While she enjoyed the hotdog, I thought it was tiny — definitely not a large dog by any stretch of the imagination. Our one positive item was the PBC& C mini sundae. This was a nice bowl of «custard» ice cream covered in mini peanut butter cups and sliced bananas. We both agreed that it was tasty. To summarize, we’d recommend Freddy’s for a sundae treat but nothing else. One last thing, the staff was very kind and even visited our table to ask us how we were doing.
