Food was great and staff was great. Recommend sitting outside. Soup and sandwiches is what we ordered.

Jell-O shot was straight outta college! Budget got thin to the point of a dollar shot. You don’t pick by flavor you pick by color red or blue. The red is straight ever clear. Not for those faint of heart. But none the less a staple of the college bourbon street. I believe the saying goes when in Rome? Well when in NOLA try it out!

This past Thursday night, the manager got into an altercation with my FEMALE friend. Where he hit her TWO times. He swatted her hands away forcefully and another time swung and hit her in the head. All from behind the counter! This all started because our other friend wanted to use a towel. The way the manager and other employee handled the situation, even before him hitting my friend in the head, was terrible. They were disrespectful and had no business being so. I can’t believe a grown man would hit a woman like that.

Good enough drinks for a hot ass day. The drinks are not really strong and I got the hurricane which should have 151 rum in it. I mixed in a little Colada. It was more of a slushy drink to cool you down. I recommend to ask to add a shot or two to give it a better kick! ;-) I should have done that but I forgot. The Jell-O shots were not strong at all and were liquidy. I would prefer Fat Tuesday better. The flavored drinks were good but that was about it. I didn’t like the cups for keep sake. Prices were decent and there were other locations of this on Bourbon street. Make sure you have cash as that is what they accept only at this location!

The pizza was big and tasty. My husband I came here ln our honeymoon and the waiter gave us a free jello shot. The jesters and hurricanes are strong and tasty. Nobody there but us. Great place for a slice of pizza and a stiff drink!

Our first stop on bourbon street! We both got a jester after hearing the hype leading up to this trip. They did not disappoint– they didn’t taste strong but they definitely were strong. Not a place to stay and hang out, more of a pop in, grab a drink and keep walking. Also, cash only.

This place is a criminal racket. Specifically: assault with a dangerous weapon, and simple battery. After grabbing my girlfriend and dragging her in here, they they shoved a few tubes in our mouthes. We didn’t ask for or want the crap – I’ve been to party cities before, and know this dog and pony show. I verbally stated that the tubes were just a fraction of the volume of a shot, and didn’t want any. Being tipsy already, I am guilty of not getting the hell out faster, or shoving the«shots» out of my face. I saw it coming. But I didn’t stop her-and let the woman put the tubes in my mouth. For the 3 $ 3 «shots» she put in my mouth, and 3 for my girlfriend, she claimed we owed $ 27. We paid $ 20, just to get away from the place. The woman tried to keep us from leaving, shoved me(and accused me of the same), and threatened my girlfriend with what she said was a taser, and her colleague deliberately tripped her. In all, the shots were not good. Nor was the customer service. I would recommend you avoid this establishment.

The Jester is a good drink, but everyone that works here is an asshole. Amen. Personality is key. Here, there is no personality.

Out first stop on Bourbon Street, and what a great place to start! Very quick service and friendly service. Bartenders are quick to help you select a drink to your liking! I ordered a hurricane in a collectible Jester cup, it did not taste strong, but definitely was very strong, felt the effects half way through for sure! Fun stop, strong drinks, good service, lots of people but not too many. Loved it, came back twice!

This was by far the worst bar we went to on Bourbon. I traveled down with a group of girlfriends for a bachelorette party. We came in and they bombarded us with shots and then charged an absolutely outrageous cost for them. The shots were nearly three times as much as any other bar we visited. When we asked the manager about why the cost was so high is response was«You’re on Bourbon, what do you expect?» As a paying customer, I expect to be treated fairly and with more respect than anyone employed here was prepared to offer.

Um, can you say RIPOFF!!! I got a piece of crappy pizza and their signature drink and it was over 15 bucks! Talk about a tourist trap!!! I think a retarded monkey could make a better pizza than this place does, and the drink was a joke, again… I don’t recommend getting remade drinks in the mixers, there is NOTHING in them! I would just keep walking past this place and don’t get sucked into the garbage that they serve!

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. We were celebrating my bachelorette last night, and a woman called us in to Jester’s for shots. We didn’t know what to expect, but before we could say anything, she put two vials into her mouth, grabbed one of my bridesmaids and pretty much forced her to take the shot before she could say anything. She was essentially shot raped! We thought it was cool at first, but when it came time to pay, we ran into some ridiculous issues. Mine was free because I’m the bride to be, but two of my bridesmaids had to pay $ 12 for 3 shots. The waitress charged them $ 15, because she automatically added a tip for herself. Both gave her a $ 20, but she never gave them $ 5 change. She took advantage of the fact that we were already faded, but when we asked about the $ 5, she got a major attitude problem and was immediately on the defense. She argued that she«only works for tips», which we understand, but that doesn’t mean to keep all the change when u charged $ 15 to include your own tip. TOTOPITOFF, we all got sick from the shots. We believe that the shots were probably sitting on the bar for a long time, so they were essentially spoiled. Needless to say, never going back, and I suggest you all go to a better establishment. Totally not worth your money.

It’s not about quality here folks, I mean you’re on BOURBON street, New Orleans’ most famous entertainment strip, What are you expecting? Service is quick, drinks will knock you off your feet. FAST. Mission Accomplished.

Do yourself a favor and just skip it. The drinks were tasty, sure, but WAY too much alcohol. We were having a respectable Saturday Lunch at Bayona after and we had to throw most of them away. We were tipsy three sips in! That’s probably a good thing for the«kids,» but if you’re not looking to get wasted five minutes into your trip, go somewhere else. In fact, go to a different part of the city! 2 stars because tasty.

Was just about to walk around Bourbon street and wanted something cool to drink on the humid day. I guess people here love Daiquiris because there are a million places on bourbon street with pretty much the same flavors, and serving pizza slices? In fact I think there are a couple of Jesters, I went to the one right next to Erin Rose. I got the«Strongest Drink Ever» It was pretty strong, but pretty sweet too, Idk which was worse. The thing with these drinks are you must drink them fast because when the melt they taste worse and worse. The high amounts of sugar with liqour was not a great experiece, I was better off just getting a beer.

Less a «good» place to get a drink on Bourbon Street, and more the«first» place to get a drink on Bourbon Street, Jester serves up drinks that are advertised as «strong», or at least as being made with strong liquors. However, I question the amount of the aforementioned strong liquors that may be found in the available drinks. If you want to spend an obscene amount of money on what amounts to a glass full of sugar, feel free! But you’re better off walking a few more blocks down Bourbon if you want an actual adult beverage.

They allow you to taste test the flavor and I chose to mix the jester with the cherry, which was a good thing because the jester has the most alcohol. Word of advise, don’t drink this on a hot day! This adult slurpee will put you on your butt real quick.

Really 2 stars for quality but it gets another star just for for the bartender who told us to call her mama and started off our New Orleans trip right with free shots. The frozen drinks aren’t the best, not the cleanest spot-but that’s New Orleans bars for ya. You’ll find a bunch of spots like this up and down bourbon. Let’s get real it’s not really about quality but about the turn up haha.
