Tried Wingstop for the first time today because Franks for the Memories(our«go to» wings place was closed). Based on prior reviews, we must have caught Wingstop on a good day or they have improved their service. Our online order was ready on time and hot, service was courteous. We tried three flavors; mild, BBQ, and mesquite. Mild and BBQ were tasty and juicy. Mesquite was good by slightly drier tasting. We noticed that Wingstop’s wings are meatier than Franks. We still love Franks but Wingstop is worth a try for wings if they can maintain consistency like Franks.

I love me my chicken wings. Boneless, bone-in, tenders, what have you. if there are wings, I am most likely going to be there. Work always brings me to the area and I was driving around checking to see if there was anywhere new to try. I saw Wingstop on Unilocal’s Eat24 and thought it would be awesome to check out. So, I placed my order online through Unilocal Eat24 and went through to pick it up. I placed the order about 15 minutes before arriving and even when I arrived, the order was still not ready; despite being quoted 5 – 10 minutes for pickup. The gentleman at the counter was not very friendly and the cook in the back gave me a real nasty look as though he just saw someone break into his home and take his dog. Well, the food came up and I took it to-go(restaurant is very small and was completely empty — so, I didn’t want to stay and eat by myself). I got to the car and immediately broke into the bag for some fries. The fries were cold. I grabbed a butter roll and it was hardened. I took a boneless wing(I got parmesan garlic and teriyaki), they were fairly small and the flavor was«bleh». Parmesan garlic is a dry rub and doesn’t even come close to tasting like parmesan garlic, it was very disappointing. The teriyaki was good but it was so salty, I could only eat a few before having to put them down and turn away. I ate three of them and was done. The rest were trashed. Overall, the food was mediocre compared to some other competitors in the area and for paying $ 13 for a combo meal, it was somewhat pathetic. The service was alright, not the best but not the worst, the restaurant has just a few tables inside so if you plan to eat-in, you may want to reconsider and take-out. I may come back to try some other wing flavors but unless there is a really, really good deal they are running, I most likely will not be stopping back. Just isn’t worth the time or money.

I like Wing Stop wings. I have not tried all the different sauces(honestly Im intimidated by the sound of «atomic» or «mango habanero»). The mild is very good, the lemon pepper is good, too but its not really a sauce, maybe more like a dry rub. The BBQ are outstanding. The fries while tasty are a tad disappointing. The couple of times ive had them theve been limp and soggy. I plan on giving them another go and this time try ordering them extra crispy. Here a tip for anyone who hates standing around waiting for your food… order on line. The website is easy to use and intuitive. When you get there, you just sign and run !

I don’t get why people are so obsessed with this place. I got the regular buffalo wings, bone-in, and they were disgusting. They were not cooked long enough to the point where they were mushy. It felt like I was eating fat. I also got the cheese fries and the coating of them was sweet like someone rubbed cinnamon on them. I will never return. Frank’s for the memories all the way.

Probably my favorite wing place around the wings are always hot crispy and the sauces are so good! They give u lots of celery and carrots and their ranch and sides are Awesome! It usually takes a while to get your food but I would rather wait for crispy hot wings done right then rushed undercooked slimy ones they always do a great job and will continue to come back again and again

After so many years of great service/food at the niles location we were extremely excited When this wingstop reopened. The wings and fries were cooked to perfection and the customer service was excellent which was why my wife and I were in there sometimes twice a week but… roughly 3 months after they reopened things started to go down hill and our orders and the customer service were never the same. The fries were either burned to a crisp or cold with no seasoning, and the wings were dry and over cooked or boneless when we ordered traditional. The staff seems like they love to argue with you about the order instead of being apologetic and making things right. It’s always a hit or miss going in there these days, I really hope things can change.

Food here is great. Service is horrible. Make sure you check your carryout before leaving. Not the brightest people working here.

I ordered my food online. When they gave me my food, the fries were upside down all over the bag, the wing sauce was soaking the bottom of the bag and fries, and some of the fries weren’t cooked at all.

When wing stop first opened it was our go to place for wings. Now we have noticed a significant change in both customer service and the food. The change is definitely not for the better. Every time I call to make an order I feel like I’m talking to some kid who has absolutely no clue what they are doing, in the time that it takes for me to order my food on the phone I could drive over to wingstop order my food have it cooked and be home. There is always a new person working when we go to pick our food up. I believe that says a great deal for what type of place this is, that they can’t keep their employees. This last time not only did they forget our dipping sauces but still charge us for it but the kids working behind the counter were eating the chicken. We actually saw them eat a chicken wing and then throw half of it out. If that isn’t gross I don’t know what is. I think I’ve seen enough.

Very inconsistent. Different staff working every time I’ve been there. A few times the wings have been great. Very crispy and meaty. I especially like the lemon pepper. Other times wings were so fatty i couldn’t eat them. Fries are over seasoned. They charge you $ 1 for veggies which are inedible. Once i watched a member of the staff eat fries that were on the counter and it so happened they were actually my order of fries that she put into the bag and handed to me. Another time i found a hair in the wing sauce. The location and online ordering is ideal and convenient but i will no longer be ordering from here until management makes some changes. If you’re looking for good wings in Mundelein go to Frank’s for the Memories, great wings every time.

Not going back here. Don’t do online ordering because they don’t know how to use it. They got 3 things wrong and forgot an item when I upgraded and paid extra for it and when we called them, the GM just blamed us… a «Sorry» would’ve been nice. Some advice… drive 5 minutes more to Franks for the Memories… better food, nice owner and staff.

Good wings and fries! They are very quick with the orders. We went on super bowl Sunday and were told 30 minutes and ended up waiting for about 10 minutes. Probably the best wings in the immediate area.

Everyone was very nice … The place was clean and we came at a time that was not busy. Ordered Hawaiian and B.Q. both was ok was expecting better flavor. The fries with cheese was good. We will come back and give them another try.

I’ve ordered twice in a month and had issues with my order on both occassions. The first time, I picked up my order and drove all the way home when I realized I had no dipping sauces for a very large order. The second order was wrong all together. I ordered 10 traditional wings and 30 boneless and I received all 40 traditional wings. Again, I was missing dipping sauce, but caught this before I left the establishment. I will be ordering elsewhere from now on.

My boyfriend and I tried Wingstop because we were sick of eating at all the same chain restaurants. We were not disappointed! For $ 9 you can get wings, fries and a drink! We tried 3 different flavors(I definitely recommend the Louisiana rub, so flavorful) I am still a fan of Buffalo Wildwings, but I think Wingstop tops them not only with their flavors but their prices! This is definitely our go to place for wings from now on!

Rick Ross loves Wingstop so much he invested in them… and obviously that guy knows how to eat! I saw him on the Arsenio Hall show one evening talking about the lemon pepper wings and found myself here a few days later to try them for myself. Oh, the power of television. But seriously, the lemon pepper wings are delicious. The garlic parmesan wings aren’t bad either. My only pet peeve about Wingstop is that they don’t give you complimentary veggies with your order. They actually charge you EXTRA for some carrot and celery sticks. Lame. Other than that, the wings are delish and so is the coleslaw.

I am really glad this location reopened. I am a big fan of their wings and their online ordering app. They have a lot of low carb choices which is important to a lot of people these days. Unfortunately that doesn’t include their great fries, a must if you like fries. Also, And this is important(to me), BESTRANCHDRESSING dipping sauce ever. EVER. Seriously I could drink this stuff. Try the original hot, garlic parmesan and chile lime(limited offering I believe unfortunately). And if you are ten years younger than me… and I’m sure you are… Try the atomic. I had a sample and it tasted great but I knew I’d pay for that in a million ways I don’t even want to think about if I ordered it. I have had zero issues with the service here personally, in fact I find it friendlier than most, but I’ve also never come in right around closing so I can’t speak to that. I say definitely give Wingstop a chance next time you are craving wings. If you are taking out use the online app and your order will be piping hot and ready to go right when you asked for it.

First of all, I placed an order online and arrived about 10 minutes past the promised ready time and they didn’t even start the order so I had to wait another 10 minutes. Not a great start. The wings were just ok. I’ve had much better. Their ‘hot’ wing is not hot at all and barely had any sauce. I think bdubs is better than this place.
