Domino’s Pizza

I’ve never had a good pizza from this Domino’s. Every delivery order I’ve received looks and tastes like hot garbage.

We’ve been loyal customers here for a long time primarily because we know we can rely on them to deliver the pizza quickly. The pizza itself is OK — we’d prefer it from other pizza places, but Dominos has often gotten our business instead of them because of the online ordering and overall fast timing to having a pizza show up at my door.
However, we relied on them this weekend to deliver quickly and they did not. I understand things happen, but that’s when the business should be saying, «Sorry for the inconvenience and long delivery time, here’s a coupon for a free pizza next time», or «we’re going to comp your pizza this time because we screwed up on the delivery», or something to that effect. Nothing. No clue how to handle customer service. They knew we were unhappy customers and had multiple opportunities to do something (anything??) to make it right. And they chose not to. So, we’re done… we’ll take our business elsewhere.

I have read the negative reviews here and was hesitant to order. However, my husband loves dominos, so I gave it a try. I’m so happy I did! Our order was at our house in an extremely reasonable amount of time, and our driver was so polite!!! He even called to tell me what time he would be here because he thought he was late, AND apologized for the delay (which I didn’t even think I had). New customer here!!!

This domino’s location is horrible. Go to the one on Rockland Rd. in Libertyville, they are nice, competent, and make much better pizza!

I just had the worst Domino’s of my life from this place. I previously worked for Domino’s, therefore, I know it’s not to supposed to be tasteless garbage. I don’t know what these people are thinking when they making their food, this stuff is NOT what your advertising.

Good for inexpensive pizza by carryout or delivery. Don’t go in and order and expect not to wait, however. Order it ahead and it’s on time.

I love ordering through the Domino’s Pizza app on my phone or computer because a «pizza tracker» immediately pops up so you know what stage your order is at. The Pacific Veggie is by far my favorite pizza to order at any Domino’s BUT this location always skimps on the veggies! Not to mention, they always take forever to deliver my pizza even though I live nearby. If my pizza is ready 10 minutes after I place the order, why does it take 1 hour to receive?

They take forever. Ordered sandwich 25 min ago. Still sitting here waiting. Won’t b back

A while back we were in town for a wedding, and when we got back to our hotel, we made an attempt to order pizza. We scoured Unilocal for any and all pizza places open for the somewhat-​late night indulgence and since Dominoes was the only place in a 20 mile radius within the time limit, we called.
Much to our surprise, an employee answered the phone: «Thank you for calling Dominoes, we’re closed, how can I help you?»
Needless to say, I took issue with this.
I was particularly bitter because they shouldn’t have been ‘closed’ (well within their listed hours of operation) …and they still answered in such a way to offer their services.
In all honesty, it seemed like someone was lazy and just wanted to go home; clearly not caring about their job or the potential customers at that hour. I tried to work around that by ordering online, as the commercials have advertised, and got through to the checkout section where I got a denial from the store. I immediately tried calling again, initially to demand a pizza, but as it rang I would have settled for an explanation, as I would have understood if they were about to close according to the posted hours. Unfortunately, they never even answered this time, and let it ring… and ring… At that point I was hoping that person was there waiting out the phone, listening to it ring, and ignoring it, because I set the phone down on speaker and let it go for five minutes or so.
This has been a first in all my years of ordering take out; I feel bad for the people who live nearby and having to put up with this.
Thank you, Mundelein Dominoes, for being the straw on the camel’s back. I probably won’t be eating or ordering another Dominoes pizza again.

Good food Better then then the comitition and they have Coke products.

I placed an order for Dominos’ 2 medium 2 topping deal for delivery through their website. After choosing a Hawaiian (ham & pineapple) and a spinich & olive, I waited and watched the virtual tracker as my pizzas were being made. 40 minutes later, the tracker showed that my pizzas were made and delivered — the problem was that I never received anything. I called and spoke with the manager, who claimed that my pizzas were in process of being delivered and I should expect them in a few minutes. TWENTY-​FIVE MINUTES LATER, I finally received my order (which was luke-​warm by then). The pizzas were EXTREMELY salty (the crust tasted like a salt-​lick), and the spinich and olive had only FIVE LEAVES of spinich! I was burned by Dominos on my previous order, but decided to give them another chance — BIG MISTAKE! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! A frozen pie bought at the supermarket would have been cheaper, tasted better, and taken less time than this!
