My fish fillet was very dry, the people sitting next to us return their chicken burger, for the same reason we didn’t know this until after we talk to them, and return actually I think I ate my sandwich, because I was so hungry. It was really gross, and i remember thinking«why did I eat that? »

I’ve been going here for years. Staff is always nice and the food is decent compared to a lot of McDonald’s that prepare their food at a low quality. The only gripe I have is that when ever I get a soda in the drive thru they hand it to me dripping with soda on the sides and it gets all over my car interior. They would get 5 stars if they would just wipe down the drinks before handing them over.

This McDonald’s is located INSIDE Walmart. Now, I have my own thoughts about having a McDonald’s in a Walmart(I won’t express those here; I’ll save those for my Walmart review)… but for the McDonald’s itself: * Service is super quick. Dion was working behind the tills when we dined here(I was super hungry and nothing else was open at 10:00 p.m. on a Sunday night!) and he was great. Nice, chatty and helpful. He actually offered menu suggestions that were useful — not a true upsell — but something that was a better value for us. * They have Strawberry Fanta in the soda machine. How cool is that? Maybe I’ve just been missing something — or I don’t dine at McDonald’s enough — but wow — that’s super cool! Yum! * The menu is a bit confusing. Lots of items are blocked out, so I don’t know if they don’t offer them anymore? Or maybe the menu was broken? The nutritional information chart on the wall has all the menu items included. Oh well. They had what I ordered and that’s good enough for me. Be careful of the ice machine. It spurts out ice very, very fast!

The wait time to get your food at this McDonalds [inside this Walmart off Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Niguel] is unusually long for a McDonalds. I ordered a McSkillet breakfast this morning, which I waited more than 10 minutes for. When I mentioned this to the manager, he made excuses for how long the McSkillet burrito takes to make. Did I mention there weren’t many customers waiting for food? BTW, I’ve ordered this through the drive-thru at other McDonalds and it has never taken that long. Earlier this month I ordered a Quarter Pounder with no cheese a la carte. Once again my order took more than 10 minutes to receive. It would’ve taken longer, but I happened to notice the server and cook were starting to prepare a large order that was placed after mine for the construction crew working on renovations at this Walmart. I asked the manager to please have them finish my order first because I’d already been waiting for over 10 minutes. What gets me even more is the excuses the manager and the staff give! There isn’t a simple«I’m sorry.» They simply make excuses for how long it takes to prepare the food. Come on, people! It’s supposed to be fast food!!!
