Love the Habit. I am a big fan of their salads. All made fresh to order with fresh grilled chicken. But I have been to many Habit locations in Orange County and this location definitely serves less chicken on the salad than other locations. Not sure what is up here but they serve noticeably less chicken on the salad. Disappointing, because this is the closest Habit to my house but I now get the salad to go from the location by my office and bring it home. Buyer beware.

I’ve been here three times. So far I’ve gotten 1. Pastrami sandwich — good 2. Tuna sandwich — didn’t like. It didn’t have much flavor at all. In fact, it didn’t even look like tuna. 3. Charburger with cheese — very good The fries are very good here as well, MUCH better than In N Out’s. Employees are always very friendly.

Not a bad burger tonight.. came here for a quick bite before a movie. Parking is a bit hectic as it seems all of aliso viejo eats at this shopping center. The cashier was friendly and made sure she had my order correct as I usually have them build a custom burger. Kudos for that. Tables were clean and once we finished our meal a employee was quick to take our tray and trash. Thanks . Burger was fresh and they stocked the condiments full and most importantly the jalapeño peppers were freshly stocked as well. Yum.

The guy took never my credit card information and never submitted my order… not right!!! I called two times agin and they still never submitted my order. Then the manager tells me he is too busy to handle the issue. Never going back! Deff counter and five guys are better

The Cesar salad with ahi has become one of my favorites. You can add jalapeños from the garnish bar and a slice of lemon it comes out good. I also really enjoy ordering online. I can order it and it will be ready when I arrive to pick it up. I just think they need to work on cleanliness as twice when I have picked up my food the bag has BBQ sauce on the outside and I didn’t get anything with BBQ yuck.

Really good Burgers, Chicken sandwiches, fries, salads, and service is above average. Onion Rings are off-the-hook. If you’ve never tried The Habit than do yourself a favor and get there today. It will become a habit! All the food is fresh and you can taste the quality. Enjoy!

Overall the burgers here are great for what you get. Amazingly the tuna filet sandwich(when they’ve got ahi tuna in) is pretty darn good! If you’ve never had it and you are into that type of thing try it out! Also I live any place with a plethora of jalapeño and peppers. The Santa Barbara style burger is the best. If it’s not on the menu just ask for it and they’ll make it. Be sure to get the double!

Great burger at a great price. My go-to burger is cheese charburger. Occasionally I’ll get a teriyaki burger if I feel like having the sweetness of a pineapple in my burger. They also make great lettuce wrapped burger. Lots of lettuce, and wrapped in a way that makes it easy to eat and not messy. Sweet potato fries is tasty. Onion rings and fries are great as well. If I’m don’t care about gaining too much weight, I’d have their milk shake every time.

Best burger out there –as far as large establishment food chains go. By large, I mean at least 20+ more chains out there. The food is exceptionally great… So much so that I need to stay away from this place as going there unchecked will give me 5+lbs any day

I love coming here when I decide to give myself a little ‘treat’. First off I’m a very loyal customer as long as one thing is addressed, consistency. And this place has always done so. I’ve been here about 2 – 3 times a month for the past 2 years and have had nothing but great food and great service. I’ve had a lot of things on the menu including the char-burger, the jalapeño burger, the Santa Barbra burger, the ahi sandwich and all of their salads. Also sweet potato fries, fried green beans, and the occasional shake. The burgers are always cooked to perfection, and it’s hard to pick my favorite because each is so unique and flavorful on its own. My go-to is the ahi sandwich on wheat. Healthy yet very delicious. Their salads are also surprisingly good. I usually get the tri-tip on my salad and it’s always perfectly tender and cooked to perfect. Also just a side note, their ranch is made in house and is some of the best ranch I’ve ever had. It will always be a little busy but that’s a given when a place is so good. To sum it up, go here if you haven’t tried it before, you will not regret it!

The Habit has decent burgers. They’re average, not in and out quality, but better than McDonalds. I like them and would eat them regularly if the restaurant were cleaner. The tables always have leftover food on them or rings of water. It is not an appealing place to be-it’s loud, the service is usually incompetent, and the food is only average. For example, the last time we came, we ordered two #1’s. She put in 1 charburger and a drink separately, no fries. We told her we wanted 2, so she didn’t know what to do. She called over the manager, and they got out the calculator and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out the dilemma. Eventually, we were charged for 2 combos(that were more expensive than advertised on the board) and 1 drink. We paid more than we bargained for, and it was just average. Sometimes they’re fast, but when it’s slow, it’s slow. One time I waited over 20 minutes just for a cheeseburger. Yikes! I only come here when because I’m not a fan of the other restaurants around Aliso Viejo. Maybe I should go to Luna instead.

Came back to try the food again after our bad experience before and lets just say the food is back on par with what we are used to having at this establishment. The food fresh, hot, tasty and filling.

I would say this place is like any other typical burger joint, but I gotta give em some credit for the Santa Barbara Burger — sourdough bread and avocado with two patties and cheese! Their shakes pretty good as is their strawberry limeade. If you’re going for lunch, make sure you try to go early or late(not around noon sharp) to avoid the crowds. Now that Fatburger’s out, I’d recommend this place over Smashburger but only by a hair.

Habit has always been my #2 burger place(ofcourse #1 is In n Out). I love the taste of their burger and the spread that they use on their buns… Last night I got a cheeseburger and a side of SP fries… Unfortuntely, some of the fries were undercooked and some where to the burnt side. I have a feeling that they were not fresh. And had been sitting on the counter for a long time… Maybe a customer changed their mind about it and returned it and the staff didn’ want to throw it away so they kept it incase another customer wants it. So they would reheat it and sell it back! I know these are just assumptions, but what I am saying is that, there is no reason for the fries to be looking and tasting not sooo fresh… You can even see it from the picture that I have posted… I won’t be buying SPF anymore from here. I will give this place couple of more tries to see if they pass or not… If they don’t, I will easily replace Habit with another burger joint… As we all know the possibilities are endless!!!

Love this place! I can honestly say it is BETTER then in-n-out. The staff and burgers are always on point. I love there French fries and they also have great onion rings. Every time I go I say i’m going to get a shake because they always look so good but I’m always way to full to get it.

I love love love the habit! Everything here is amazing. They have the best ranch dressing to dip your onion rings. Yum! Oh and you can get half rings and half fries which is awesome! The workers here are always friendly. The place is always clean. I usually get a single char, onion rings and their yummy strawberry lemonade. I can never finish the rings. Super filling burger and pretty cheap too.

I got the #1 Charburger combo. I’m from Houston where we don’t have a Habit Burger and I’ve heard about them through trading as their IPO was just a few months ago. I guess, it’s one of those setting-high-expectations situations. I get it, it’s a fast food joint; you’re not going to get a wagyu burger. However, the hype was not lived up to as the patty itself was bland, and overall the shredded iceberg lettuce and mayo just wasn’t enough to make up for the lack of flavor. For sides, I got sweet potato fries and onions rings. Again, nothing special. Overall, this unit had great service and was very clean. Other than that, I don’t see them being any different than Wendy’s or Burger King.

The burgers are good, especially the Santa Barbara, which I like to get protein style. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is friendly. What I really want to talk about though, is the soft serve ice cream cone. It’s $ 1, yes, ONEDOLLAR. The staff know me. When I enter the restaurant, they say, cone? I say, yes please :-) I pay my $ 1.08 and thoroughly enjoy my cone. It’s almost like crack, except it’s $ 1. HAHA These bastards are deviously smart. I never go to In N Out anymore. All because of the $ 1 soft serve cone.
