I think it is time for me to admit something…
I just dont like a fancy burger. I like a plain burger off an at home BBQ with some fixins… or a burger with some swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms.
I just dont think I should keep trying to fight to like these new burger places.
That being said, this burger was good. I didnt scream and yell and do the moany noise I tend to do when Im in love with what Im eating. Its a real thing, and I know Im not alone in this.
I ordered the California Burger with no tomatoes so it was avocado relish, cheese, onion, baby spinach, and herb mayo. It lacked flavor to me, which is odd with everything it has on it. That seems to be what I am not liking about the burger places I am trying. (To be fair, I am also not a fan of Smash Burger, Mooyah, 5 Guys, The Habit, and In N Out.) So I am ok admitting its me, not you — burger places.
I had heard so many good things about the garlic fries. I dined here with fellow Unilocaler Jennifer D, and we both ordered garlic fries. Hers had huge piles of garlic chunks on top. Mine had zero chunks whatsoever. I went inside with my fries, and was asked what the problem was… and I asked if my fries were garlic fries. I was told yes, and I said my friend has chunks of garlic all throughout her fries and I dont have any garlic on mine at all. He just looked at me funny so I asked for a side of the garlic. I was given like an oily garlic butter that I put on top of my fries. It still wasnt enough for me, I am obsessed with garlic… but it helped.
We chose to eat outside on the patio. It was in the 80s on Sunday, and the heaters were on, on the patio. I dont understand Orange County. The stores run the heat in this weather and the restaurants run the heaters on the patios when its hot. I truly wish they wouldnt… its too much.
Anyway, the place was decent and I think I am just a hamburger brat…

Check in on Unilocal and get a free drink. I Wish we knew that before we came, would have saved a couple bucks. No worries though, we will save it for next time. Angie M. And I decided to check out this place together since it had some cool Unilocal reviews.
I was excited to try the garlic fries. I was not disappointed. Chunks of garlic and herb crust were all over my fries. So good. Poor Angie though, they skimped on her garlic. Her fries looked plain. Maybe I got her portion too, I don’t know… The restaurant gave her a side of garlic sauce when she asked where were her chunks ?! Lol
I got the Napa burger. Very flavorful. It had goat cheese, onions, tomatoes, and baby spinach with a thick juicy patty between two buns. I was satisfied with the food and the service.
The restaurant has inside and outside seating. Today was a beautiful day, mid 70’s, so we sat outside. We ordered at the counter inside and our food was brought to us at our table. The patio area was neat and clean. There were outside heaters and TVs. I would definitely come back more regular if the location was closer to me.

I would have given this place 5 stars before today because of their high quality food standard. For example, their chicken tenders are made from actual
Chicken tenders as opposed to a mish mash of chicken parts deep fried to hide the taste. But honestly what made me want to write this review was the effort they went to helping me with a small catering order. I wanted to serve chili and chicken tenders at my super bowl party. The went above and beyond, especially since they don’t do catering yet. They put the chili in a special container and included a serving ladle as well as bowls and sides. They also included three large sauces with the chicken tenders that fit the super bowl theme perfectly. Ian, who I believe is the manager, was courteous and professional from start to finish. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Ok update review… I have to drop Deemers down a star since the Bacon Lettuce Tomato sandwich has changed… aaaaaarrrrggghhh! This was the best BLT I found anywhere in the USA. No longer I am sad to say… the bread has less Parmesan on it when toasted and the spread is now just mayonnaise. It used to have some other flavor now missing
Soooo bummed out…

The NAPA TURKEY BURGER is still a very nice choice here. It is loaded with baby spinach, pesto sauce and tastes very good. This burger wasn’t quite as moist as its been in the past but overall it was still quite good.
The GARLIC FRIES had a lot of garlic and were very tasty. The LARGE size was too much for two people who also ordered burgers.

Food quality was amazing. (I got the Napa Burger — comes with fresh goat cheese, tomato, sautéed onion, baby spinach, basil pesto mayo. I got mine minus the tomato and onion. Hubs got the Pulled Pork — slow roasted pork, house-​made spicy cider sauce, crisp onions, pickle spear on toasted bun. We shared a large Garlic Fries — tossed in garlic butter & parsley.)
Prices were amazing. I’ve paid more for less and beer and wine prices are great too.
Serving size was amazing. Large fries were OMGosh HUGE.
Customer service was amazing. The manager was very personable and you can tell he has pride in the place, which speaks volumes.
Why yes, we are fans!

For me, a solid 4 stars, maybe 4.5 stars. I’ve never been here but was looking for a great burger so I used the power of the Unilocal!Called in my order, as I was heading home, and they said ready in 15 minutes and I arrived in exactly 15 minutes and they were just bagging my food! Kudos for that! I ordered a cheeseburger with extra cheese, sautéed onions, bacon and a fried egg! All the things I love on a burger, and one thing I loved, you can order your burger medium rare, that’s a huge plus for me. I also ordered some chili cheese fries. Once home (after a torturous drive smelling it all in my car) I finally got to dig into this mound of happy sloppy goodness! The burger was cooked to perfection! The sautéed onions were super yummy, the bacon had a nice smokey flavor and a good thickness to it, and of course the Fried egg was on point! Maybe it’s just me, but I love a burger that you can’t put down once you pick it up due to it just dripping melted cheese and ooey gooey goodness everywhere! It was super juicy and so tasty. The chili cheese fries were good, but also something you really should eat in restaurant only, cause usually by the time you get home they are a bit soggy. The chili was very tasty with rather large chunks of hamburger in it, had the right amount of spice to make it really flavorful. The price for all this was in my opinion very good, I think I paid like $ 15-​$ 20 bucks for it all, which I don’t mind when I’m paying for something that I love. I’m so glad I found this place, it’s definitely going to be one of my go to places for burgers!

The place is a little hidden but worth the find. It’s next door to fed ex & in sprouts Peking lot.
If you want a great sit down burger joint other than in n out — this is the place to go. It’s family friendly & on a nice evening night the patio is perfect with their patio lights. They do have heaters for those cooler nights.
They also have a good selection of draft beers on tap also. They also have a wide menu of not only burgers but also salads & sandwiches.

This was highly recommended. I would have to say I was disappointed in service and food. The burger was small and a tad dry. They didn’t even greet us when we walked in. We said it was our first time there and still didn’t help with our selections. It took a while to get our food. The restaurant seems clean but the bathroom didn’t have any paper towels and there was toilet paper on the floor. I don’t think I would try this place again. So many other burger places thatstand out in my mind that are so much better.
