We are regular weekenders in Big Bear and spend more time here than anywhere! It Is so fun to grab a coffee or tea and one of their DELISH made-from-scratch pastries while playing a board game. You can even borrow a chess or backgammon set from the store. Their desserts are soooo good. Scones, Apple croissant, carrot cake, pie, quiche… Allll yummmmmmmy. We feel at home here!

The London Fog is my favorite drink here, but I’ve never been disappointed with their latte’s. Located in the heart of the village, it’s a great place to sit with a hot drink, one of their sweet desserts and visit with a friend or people watch. The staff is friendly and the shop has lots of fun kitchen items for sale as well.

The tea was good, but that’s from a bag so you can’t mess it up. But the pastries and quiche were awful. Don’t come here for food.

This is an awesome place for breakfast! We had the waffle sticks, the breakfast sandwich and Steele cut oatmeal. All were delicious. Service was great, seating is limited though. We liked it so much we went back the very next morning.

Such a fun spot to pass through while walking through big bear town! We came on a Saturday and they had a free cooking class going on! So fun! Tons of cute mugs, cookbooks, cooking essentials to look through! Tons of sweet pastries and fun coffee drinks to choose from if you have a sweet tooth… Didn’t try the drip coffee because I didn’t know if I would enjoy it since it isn’t really advertised. They make their own whipped cream! Yummy!

Cute and amazing little shop in the village. Coffee, baked treats, and gifts. I loved my vanilla latte, and they offer almond, soy, and coconut milk — WIN! Banana bread is Amazing. Checkout the homemade marshmallows :). There’s cooking classes and their own parking lot as well. Love it. I also think my old English teacher may own it from what I saw in the signs, go Miss Ricchiuti!

Skip this shop and go to the local Starbucks. There’s nothing special here. Overall disappointing experience today. I’ve visited this location three or four times and each time I’ve had something to gripe about… Today was no different. I ordered a black coffee and breakfast burrito and was disappointed. The coffee was decent. However, the breakfast burrito did not meet my expectations(warning! The breakfast burrito is nothing like the picture they show) I paid $ 7 dollars for essentially one egg, a slice of bacon, some cheese and a tortilla. I’d suggest pricing the food items accordingly and showing a picture that accurately describes your food items. The only redeeming factor of this coffee shop is their expresso. Their expresso is good, not very good, not excellent but good.

Went into this coffee shop thanks to «Bear Essentials’ «owner(i believe) that made us part of the«family“‘ of big bear village. The interior is so cozy and well decorated. Staff is super friendly. The bathroom smell delicious and they are kept very clean. It is the perfect place to have some hot choccolate and cookies, relax, enjoy the cold weather from the warm inside and look around at all the cute frames and ornaments they have displayed for sale. We loved CooperQ and definitely come back when in Big Bear

It’s cool to be hip. And copper q certainly does hip well. Decent coffee, decent pastries… and a very cool vibe. I like heir little fire pit area outside, just wish they had more seating space inside. There are two tables that seat 6ish people and one bar-looking place to sit that seats 8 ish… the rest of the seating is outside. Anyway, cool place. Check it out. Bring your beard and your MacBook, you’ll fit right in. I did.

Ordered the«BLTA» on a croissant, bacon was juicy & crispy, lettuce tomato & avocado was fresh, I would give the sandwich 5 stars. However it was $ 9, which is a little pricey for a croissant sandwich that didn’t come with any side. Staff was friendly, however so so so slow. The line was wrapped around the whole place inside so you’d think that the staff wouldn’t be taking their time or checking their phones. Literally the girl pulled out her phone from her pocket, looked at it for about 15 seconds then put it back. All while there is ONE teenager taking orders of the 20 – 30 people in line. Really disappointed. The reason I’m giving any stars is solely based off how yummy the sandwich was.

Really cute coffee place in Big Bear. It’s cold outside(20F) and all you want is that hot cup of pumpkin latte. You see this cute little coffee shop across the street and fell in love immediately as you try to warm yourself up. Copper Q saved my life and it could save yours too with that cup of hot/warm coffee and tea(+ the snacks). I have T-Mobile and my signal in Big Bear was horrendous! Copper Q also gave me reliable wifi.

My friend and I ventured to Big Bear, and after snagging a few burgers we were on the hunt for a post-lunch pastry. Big Bear has several ice creameries, but finding a bakery-made treat was not that easy. Luckily we came across the Copper Q before resigning ourselves to a lactose-laced sugar-injection(ice cream). The wait in line was pretty long, but when we finally got to the front we ordered a pumpkin pie. It ran us $ 5.75, but was entirely worth it. The filling was light and flavorful, and the crust was flakey and slightly buttery. If you’re in Big Bear, and looking for a cupcake, scone, or cinnamon roll, I’d suggest stopping by the Copper Q.

A few years ago, my husband and I came to this place for breakfast. I ordered a slice of quiche which was really tasty. Hawever, after a couple of bites I noticed my quiche was moving. It turned out to be a bunch of MAGGOTS. I was absolutely repulsed. What was worse was how the management handled the situation. I showed the lady behind the counter and she pretended that there was nothing wrong when there were clearly white bugs writhing around. I showed some random stranger next to me and he freaked out. No apologies were made just blatant denial. They even continued to sell the quiche with the maggots. Didn’t bother pulling it off the shelves. Absolutely disgusting!

What a nice friendly place for a snack or lunch, no matter the weather. Tippe loves to have a hot cup of tea in the afternoon… tea time, as they say in England. I go for the coffee and a cookie… glutton time as I say. These guys do little cooking lessons that Tippe and I were sorry to have missed. This is a great place to sit down with a coffee or tea and a scone to people watch while having out in Big Bear. Although, I have to say that I have yet to have seen a big bear, or little bear for that matter, in Big Bear.

Grab a cookie, a cold beverage, sit back, and people watch. I have visited a couple of times and the fare has always been consistent. The peanut butter cookies have always been a stand out: Not too thick and packed with flavor. They also offer soups, salads, sandwiches, and quiche. Apparently, they have cooking classes too. The chairs inside the communal tables are totes comfy to the max :) If you plan on kicking back for a while, they offer free WiFi and have clean restrooms. As an added bonus, if your bike decides to die on you while you’re in the area, there’s a Dero Fixit apparatus right in front of the store.

This is a great place to stop by for drinks, whether it be a cold or hot day. When I was here, it was starting to snow/rain, so the line was quite long with people wanting a warm drink. The food sold here looks like it’s homemade and delicious, but I didn’t try anything so I cant say anything about it. I ordered the hot chocolate with soy milk, and it honestly tasted like powered hot cocoa. It’s nothing special at all. But since this is like a Starbucks, everyone comes here, and you don’t have many other options for coffee/tea. Parking can get tricky when it’s crowded; so you can find a spot on the street in front of Copper Q if you’re lucky enough, or you can try to find a spot in one of the lots behind the shops. Ambiance here is similar to a Starbucks, but it definitely has that small town feeling to it. The place sells merchandise as well — jams, cooking utensils to name a few.
