Nice, casual, friendly local bookstore. We wandered in, glanced around. Asked for one particular kids’ classic. The clerk looked and came back with the bad news of
No, sorry.‘
As we ambled out, maybe a quarter block away, the man caught up with us, and apparently found the tome to be incorrectly shelved. THEY HAD IT! So, we walked in, bought the small paperback and appreciated the whole experience.
One funny thing: A TV playing some old classic movie sat on the front counter and I guess the clerk was catching up on his cinema. A little offbeat for a bookstore, but it didn’t interfere.

Very cute bookstore with a nice selection of interesting books for kids and adults. And, they even have free self/​serve coffee or tea w/​purchase. Friendly staff, too.
