What better food to warm you up after bearing all the cold at the lecture halls than some steaming hot oriental soup? The soup here is relatively good, compared to all the other options at the café. You can choose to have rice to go along with the soup, or just have the soup if you are not feeling hungry. There are quite a number of options to choose from, but I think a safe choice would be the fish slice soup and seafood soup. I am not a big fan of tom yum, so I automatically skip those although I think it seems to be quite a popular option among the students dining at the café. Something light and soupy that is satisfying at the same time. Thumbs up!

This is my fave stall in this Food Court Café! It’s healthy(though there is some oil), it’s yummy, and if you want rice, you can order that too — so you have a full meal. The Uncle here is really nice — great service, always kinda pleasant. What I Love: Their soups are light — so not too heavy and no milk(like in some Ban Mian Stalls). Their Slice Fish Soup, Seafood Soup and Fried Fish Soup are my fave options. Their other soups are all Tom Yam based — though pretty popular, I’ve not tried them(allergic to spice!). Their Seafood Soup is my ultimate fave — it’s fresh, you’ll get like 2 huge prawns and squid — so it’s not a bad deal for $ 4.50. What I Don’t Love: I wish they added a few more options to their menu. They are pretty popular — so expanding wouldn’t be a bad idea.
