Fatboy’s Burger have been around in Publika for quite a long time. It is always crowded when I pass by during dinner time. So definitely come before 8pm or you will have to wait for seats. I have tried their Wimpy which is half a Fat Bastard burger(their signature burger). You can choose whether you want pork, beef or lamb for the patty. It comes with a fried egg as well. It is quite a ordinary burger but taste quite delicious. I also tried Holy Ceaser which is a chicken burger that I think is just so so. They also serve pork burger and alcohol so they are obviously non halal. Their Mahola pork burger is nothing extra ordinary as well. Although their burgers are not really outstanding, the price is pretty reasonable for around RM19 per burger. They also serve other food apart from burger like chicken parmigiana. Their portion is quite big though I would say Chilli’s Old Timer is more filling. Also, all burgers come with a side of fries. The cool thing about Fatboy’s is that you can build your own burger. You get to choose everything from the bun to the sauce! Their service is actually really good and fast. If you are looking for gourmet burger, this might not be really the right place,

It’s one of the few burger places available around the mont kiara area. Good to go if you’re very desperate for burgers. Quality is a hit and miss, and if you try to specify how you want your burger done… Forget about it. It will never come out how you want it, and only how the cook deems fit. Service is also a hit and miss, unless you’re Caucasian, or look super fancy and rich. Wait time is also horrible. Plan on at least 30 minutes to an hour after you order to receive your food.

I go to Fatboys at Publika fairly regularly, it’s a decent place to eat and good prices. Although it is nothing extraordinary, you can definitely get your burger fix here. I have had some really good meals here like the honey mustard chicken and the country fried steak. The mozzarella sticks and the disco fries are bomb too. I only give it 3 stars because the food is inconsistent. I’d recommend it though if you’re looking for some good old western diner food.

I would honestly prefer myBurgerlab burgers over this. I find that their burgers here are just ordinary and wouldn’t actually worth travelling to get here to have them. They use to have a long queue hype but I really think it was quite overrated. I’m glad the hype is over. Well burgers here are priced around RM16 to RM20+, without drinks. It’s more like the market rate for burgers. So I have not much comments about it. I am always a big fan of chicken burgers and decided to gave their peanut butter burger with bananas a try. It was quite a new experience and it tasted really good. My impression towards them dropped because of an incident my friend encountered previously. Staff’s attitude was really horrible and there weren’t any discounts or deductions from their order. It was a long story but yeah. Anyways, I would put them as a last option for burger joints unless there’s a friend in my group that havent try them and maybe I will consider going to them again.

This place would be the perfect chilled out grub! Its fresh, fun & ‘the’ place to have a killer hamburger. The place gives you a typical american diner feel with its layout & of course the menu. You can expect to get your thick shakes, hot dogs, chunky salads & of course the burgers! Hamburgers were part of the each family functions especially when we were growing up. Be it over a bbq night or even sloppy joe sundays, who says no to a fat juicy burger. Screening through Fatboys menu was good enough to make me drool. Chili corn chips, mozzarella cheese sticks & funky names of burgers such as ‘Fat basterd’ & ‘Jamaican me hungry’ was some of the stuff that caught out attention. Definitely a breath of fresh air from the same old McDonald’s that we would usually have. I guess its the whole casual environment which definitely gives you a nice feel. Value for money & definitely 2 thumbs up for the food!

This burger joint in Publika whips up mean burgers. If you love big juicy mouth watering burgers then this place is perfect for you. But if you don’t fancy them as much, they also have hot dogs and cheese steaks on the menu. The prices are fairly reasonable depending on the burger you order. This place also has wacky names for their burgers like«Fat Basterd, Jamaican Me Hungry» and others. My favourite burger in Fat Boys is the«Jamaican Me Hungry» I always order this because it has really unique ingredients stacked between the patties like coleslaw, sundried tomatoes and bacon which all work together to create such an amazing burger. The place can get pretty crowded during peak hours but the service here gets going pretty fast. This burger joint serves a choice of beef, chicken, lamb and pork patties, oh and the restaurant is non-halal. The milkshakes are also pretty good here. The only one I managed to try was the peanut butter milkshake, which I thought was such a weird flavor but turned out to be pretty good. There are plenty of options here to choose from the menu; I can’t wait to come back and maybe try a different burger for a change.

Oh boy! Oh boy! Here lies a restaurant that allows you make your own burger. Yes you read that right, make your own delicious, mouth watering juicy burger! Have a look through the menu and you’ll notice the infinite combinations that will allow you to come up with a burger ala you! Whether it’s bacon, chicken, or beef. The meat are cooked to your liking and prepared with vegetables and add-ons as you see fit. The setting of the burger bar reminds you of a diner. Although they don’t have the usual booths as a diner would, the stools and the tables have a retro-modern feel to it. They keep this place spotless. You’ll hardly see any tables unclean. Waiters are attentive and fast with their ordering and serving. Not to mention they’re friendly and efficient as well. I felt my meat was a bit undercooked this one time, and they got it grilled a bit more. So you’ve got a choice of sesame, honey oat and whole wheat bun. You choose your type of meat, whether it’s 50⁄50(half of beef, half of pork) or just beef. The choices are all quite interesting. I’d peruse the menu properly before building your own burger. And what goes well with that? How about their wonderful selection of milkshakes! I personally am a huge fan of their vanilla milkshake. Not too much milk in my opinion. Just how I like it! And if you’re not a fan of vanilla, plenty of other awesome shakes you can have a go at. Overall, come here if you wish to stuff your face in delicious, juicy big burgers. When they place your orders on the table, you’ll probably say to yourself«Damn! This is how a burger should look like!» I’d suggest you don’t eat beforehand though, doubt you’ll be able to finish your meal otherwise.

Served with a good portion of thick fries(who doesn’t like thick fries?!) with a shake of salt and pepper on top, a slice of lettuce and tomato each which only serves the purpose of reducing my guilt. Nicely baked sesame buns added a nice aroma and texture; Fat Boy Burger is generous with the cheese. Chicken patty is well seasoned, thick and juicy. Comes with 2 slices of overcooked bacon(there goes the –1 mark). Manager is very nice to give my sister & I complimentary water because we are not the kind of person who will spend RM10 for a can of ice lemon tea. For that, I give Fat Boy Burger a 5⁄5 for service. Verdict: Worth it for the price of RM16, not overprice and not over rated as well. Nice ambience for gathering and dating. I’ve received warm service and a nicely done burger, could never ask for more! Will I come again? You bet.

Strictly for burger lovers ONLY! Okay I have to admit that this is the first non-halal Burger joint I’ve come across. I only ate here one time and only because my friend brought me here and they also had an option for beef burger and chicken burger. The burgers they sell are really out of the ordinary — I think it’s an American based burger joint and I love the ingredients they put inside(my beef burger) I’m not sure whether I would be able to try the rest since it’s not pork free! Ha ha!

Fatboys, aside from being a total honest burger vendor that actually tells you what might actually become of you if you are to consume copious burgers, sells pretty decent burgers, and should be visited by anyone who is unperturbed by the name itself. The burgers itself are usually moist and tender, with the burger patty being the biggest selling point in the entire restaurant. What might just be compressed meat stuck between two cooked dough is further intensified with its flavoring and its obligatory wedges, which is pretty amazing, to be honest. You will want to go there to have more, but then again, you might become a, how can I put this nicely… A fat boy? I do not know, for the ugly truth beats any beautiful ones any time. Ta ta.

Its was valentines day, so what does 4 single people do? Indulge ourselves in burgers! Yes, we did that in this restaurant. Although it was a full house, we managed to secure a seat in the matter of minutes. Although the service was a little slow, the food arrived on time. I gave the Pizza the Hut a try. Pizza the Hut is a burger with a beef patty topped with spicy queso and jalapenos. Trust me, when I say, this burger was delicious. The meat was juicy and the sesame bun on it kept it warm and moist at the same time. The fries or should I say wedges looking potatoes were really awesome as well! As for the drink, i gave the strawberry milkshake a try. It was a little too thick and I find it a little pricy for the portion they served me. As for others, it was A okay!

It was during a friend’s birthday, that we decided to try out Fatboys and being the nonsensical hooligans that we are, immediately took notice of the burger so elegantly named«Fat Basterd». Being one of the pricier options on the menu, and since we were at place called Fatboys, we decided to go all out and have a swing at the Basterd. A towering figure with two thick, juicy patties, topped with streaky bacon and a fried egg. I threw caution to the wind, and went right for it. The outcome, me being one very satisfied Fatboy. Fatboy’s do also serve a range of deserts, however, they were mostly mediocre at best
