Old bread in bun. Under cooked red meat for medium well. Served cold. Mine came after partner had finished. Replacement took another 15 minutes. Manager said their quality goes down when busy !!! Not worth RM20(!) thumbs down

When you’ve had your fill of indian food during the celebration of an indian wedding and you crave some food that your stomach will be alright with digesting, then you follow the bride’s cousins’ advice and go to get one of the«best burgers in KL». I actually have to concur. Loving Bread Meats Bread in Glasgow, I was so happy to dive into a burger that matches the standards that it has set for my burger enjoyment. Sitting right in the middle of the Bangsar area with lots of restaurants and bars around it, this is where more people should come. The burger was fresh, it tasted fantastic, it was well-done, just as ordered. The fries deserve a special shout out because they are wonderful. Everything in this place is amazing. The only thing I would say is that their wifi doesn’t like connecting and for foreigners that want to immediately Unilocal about everything they can, that can be a slight issue.

Their secret menu literally flashes by on the POS system monitor when you’re ordering, so you got to be quick if you want to know what’s on there. In case anyone is wondering — yes, they have a low-carb burger option. You can also specify done-ness on the beef burgers. The fries are okay, but the sauce they come with I’m not really a fan of. I want to try their other fry options in the future. That said, if you’re already here and don’t want to deal with the parking situation in Bangsar…

I’ve been dying to try KGB for ages now so one day my friend and i spontaneously decided to hit it up. Finding parking in Bangsar, especially on a Friday evening can be a big headache but fortunately, as soon as we turned in we got lucky and found a parking spot right away. KGB is located on Jalan Telawi 2, near towards the bottom of the slope. As soon as we got in we quickly ordered because many other people were coming and we wanted to grab a table fast, as seating is really limited. I cant remember the names of what we ordered be we both ordered sides of fries. I ordered a half basket of salt and malt vinegar fries and my friend ordered the texan(i think thats what they’re called) which are french fried drenched in melted cheese and chopped Jalepeno peppers. Keep in mind the burgers are huge so a half basket of fries is really all you need. They even offer sweet potato fries here for those who want a healthier option. Our burgers took roughly 20 minutes to come and when they did they proved well worth the wait. The burgers here aren’t the absolute best that I’ve tried but they still are definitely worth a try. The patties are juicy and well done and the fillings inside are generous in portion. Though a little pricey, totally worth every penny.

My boyfriend loves to eat a lot. All the time(how he stays fit beats me). So one day he wanted to give this place a try as he heard a lot about it from some colleagues. The burgers we ordered were delicious and the Jalapeño sos even better but to be honest the size is not for people who have a huge appetite. For me it was alright but my boyfriend would have ordered a second one if it wasn’t for the price. The burger was RM25 and for me that is slightly overpriced considering the size. So yes, amazing burgers, worth trying, but not if you are reallyyyy hungry. Its more to get a taste of it but it is good indeed.

So, KGB. Where do I start? I’ve already rates this place 5 stars because i was truly impressed and in my opinion by far the best burger i’ve ever had. I know i said the same about fatboys but this is different and i hadn’t tried this before i wrote the fatboys review. It was a thursday afternoon and i just finished my final paper for the semester(it went horribly) and so i needed some fatty foods the cheer me up. Whats better than a juicy beef burger! We had the rm16 burger cant remember what its called but it comes with a beef patty topped with bacon! So delicious i could have had another one. It was the perfect size and the patty was cooked just right(still pink in the middle). You order a separate basket of fries or wedges or whatever you want, they have sweet potato fries too and loaded fries. Service was superb! The manager or owner i dont know was there and he was in a shirt and pants but was cleaning tables and delivering food which i thought was very modest of him. He also kept checking if we were good. I really appreciate good customer service cause it makes the dining experience so much better. Will definitely be back for more :)

This is a really good burger to try! I have a lot of love to a place with decent burger. One of them is definitely KGB. The space in KGB is quite limited especially on friday night and weekend, always full of people craving for some juicy burger so a lot of time you might have to wait till people finishing their food. The burger itself is really well-cooked and tasty. They have a lot of burger variation but one of my favourite is definitely their bobcat — chicken(priced for RM15.90 without set). It’s really good grilled chicken patty with combination of green chilli slaw, provolone cheese and jalapeño mayo, plus when you ordered it with set, you can get their sweet potato fries and drinks as well. It’s pretty dangerous meat especially if you are trying to cut back on some calories, but hey you can always enjoy it once in a while, and it’s really worth the money you spent!:)

At the peak of the burger trend, KGB opened its first outlet in Bangsar and having done pretty well themselves, they opened another branch in Mid Valley. It’s no surprise that they have done well as their burger is exceptional, and dare I say better than the all famous myburgerlab? The one thing they have here that burger lab doesn’t is bacon and who doesn’t love a good bacon? It’s the KGB spiked that comes with beef patty and beef bacon and it is simply amazing. I always opt for an extra patty as well and the juices of the burger that come watering down as you take a bite might be a little messy but that’s the joy of eating burgers isn’t it? Their cajun fries are also really good and I find not many burger joints are able to pull off good fries and KGB has managed to do so.

I have only dined in here once but my husband has bought take-away from here numerous times, at one point once a week! My dine-in experience was so-so only as it was quite noisy but the staff were excellent and being my first time there they even helped me pick out my very first burger: The KGB Spiked. It has remained one of my most favourite burgers. For chicken burgers, my favourite would be the Bobcat. Topped with Jalapeño Mayo and Provolone Cheese, this burger certainly delivers good bite! I really really love their fries as well; they manage to remain crisp on the outside and juicy inside even when reheated in the microwave. The accompanying sauce is awesome as well. Their Onion Rings are pretty good too. I feel like I need to go back there now just to try some of their other burgers. Guess I have been spoiled by their Spiked one so much that I am somewhat reluctant to try their other beef ones. If I ever do feel like I need a burger while I am in Midvalley, this would be my only choice. Definitely a class above the golden arches and even better than the likes of Chili’s and Fridays.

Everyone’s favourite burger joint in Bangsar. If Mikey’s Pizza serves the best pizza in Bangsar, KGB is the place to go for burgers. For the uninitiated, KGB stands for Killer Gourmet Burgers. How cute is that name! Everytime if there’s a party to be had — KGB Burger seems to be at the top of everyone’s mind. There was once, our order was a strong 80 burgers at one go. Needless to say, it was wise to pre-book it. I love their onion rings too! They have similar menu for both chicken or beef. The Shack, Animal Style, Tornado, Spiked are some of the more popular options. The prices range from RM12.90 onwards. I also love the soft buns the burger comes in… And for dessert, you can always try out their churros! Space wise, it’s a rather small shop. So please get there early or be prepared to wait for seats. Because of it’s stuffiness, not many people who linger around to hang out unless they are sitting closer to the entrance. They recently launched a bigger shop at TTDI. One little pet peeve, for the price we are paying — i expect a full service, instead of self.

Yes in love with KGB(Killer Gourmet Burgers) and it lives up to the name! This small burger joint has been fairly popular now and I can see why. Their burgers are handcrafted from ground steak and you can really taste the quality of their patties! They also have many types of gourmet fries that goes compliments their burgers well. They have an old school inspired interior which really makes me feel like Im in a burger joint in America or something. Many have compared KGB to the likes of Burger lab which I can understand they have many similarities yet they are both distinctively different(yes I’ve tried both) yet KGB is the one I find myself continuously going back for.

As the name says, we talk about serious gourmet burgers here. You’ll be spoilt by the choices here as they are really offering a wide range of burgers for you to choose from. From malaysian style to American and even kim chi — you really get to pick what you like. I however personally still prefer the classic style burger more. You can customize your burger too to ask for extra cheese or other things — yums. However, be prepared to fork out quite a bit for this as you are eating something of gourmet quality — fair enough? I don’t like their onion rings here though as they are quite oily and it doesn’t make you feel like keep munching on it. Also, with limited space in their shop here, be sure to know that its not a nice hangout place where you’ll talk long with your friends after meal, you’d feel rather packed here.

Only the very best burgers ever! I absolutely love KGB! for me it completely beats McDonalds here! my favourite is the Shack chicken or Shack beef1 they rock at it! the sweet onion rings are killers! but the very best is the fries! they have fries with different dressings! You can buy the burger and get the deal with 6 rm you get the fries and coke! for me that just rocks! definitely recommend it! you can’t come to kL and not go to KGB!

A much more spacious branch as compared to the jalan telawi’s, here they offer the same menu as bangsar’s. However, i personally find the onion rings here better than the bangsar branch. For someone who likes onion rings like i do, i treat it seriously. Even though its more spacious here, i still wouldn’t say that it is a great hangout place here. Located in the lg level, be prepared for the noises and kids’ sharp screams from time to time. So, for me, i grab my burger and leave. During lunch hours this place could be really packed, so make sure to come slightly earlier to get yourself a nicer table and also shorter waiting time, after all its only good that we can enjoy our burgers peacefully right? My new discovery this time would be their kim chi burger, try it too if you’re feeling adventurous!

Not exactly a burger fan but they have impressed me. Everyone raved about them while out so one day I decided to give them a try. The food was pretty good but the price seemed a bit high in my opinion. My boyfriend loved the burger, he calls them«juicy’ and we even loved the delivery time but we found the portions a little small to be honest. It is not your every day burger but it does come at a cost. The average cost is around RM18 per burger. We had the Bobcat Chicken burger at RM16, which was pretty tasty. Bön Appétit.

I’m a huge fan of this place. They have the best burgers I ever had. The way they mix the ingredients creates the most delightful and heavenly burger ever. Every burger is unique. My favourite one is the one with eggs, avocado, cheese and chicken. But what is event more amazing is the fact that you can create your own burgers. They don’t have it in the menu, but if you wanna have a special burgers, with your favourite ingredients, it’s possible. The price is very good. For a burger, soda and fries you can pay between 20 and 30RM.

Killer Gourmet Burgers or better known as KGB; it is a name where people tend to remember because of its simplicity. Apart from that, I will never forget the KGB chops on their burgers that signify that their burgers are of KGB quality — delicious and worth the money. KGB is pretty significant to me because I made a research on this burger joint before where I was given an assignment to create a website for a new restaurant and wahlaaaaa, KGB came into my mind. In all honesty, KGB is worthy to be written even on the history books as they serve really good burgers). Significantly, they stay true to their restaurant name where their burgers are the killers! I really love the bread, not much of the meat patties(but it is not too bad). If I have the choice, I would like to mix KGB, MyBurgerLab and Fatboys together and make the perfect hipster burgers for customers to enjoy. The bread is soft and delicious, and I don’t mind requesting more of it(they will think I’m crazy or something to order more bread but not the patties). The food portion was alright — pretty fulfilling but I want to commend on their cheesy fries(awesome ok, must try!). The burgers are worth the price to pay. As we all know, Bangsar is known for famous and reputable eateries. For sure this area is going to be jam packed especially on a Friday night. I admit I chose the wrong time to visit this burger joint but it was worth the wait, and the hassle to find an empty parking(I ended up parking at Bangsar Village). If you guys wish to skip the hassle, feel free to visit Midvalley as they have just opened an outlet there(good for them!)

I was really hungry after long day of shopping and i smelled something really good. I came across this place I never knew before and just ordered what the waiter suggested to me. It was KGB spiked I was worried that it would be spicy, but oh wow. Worry was the last thing on my mind once I’ve tried it. The very best burger I have ever had. It was so yummy that my brain stopped working completely and I left the restaurant without even trying to remember it’s name. Another day I was shopping close to Bangsar Village and went to a random place and ordered a burger. Just after the first bite I realised that it is the same restaurant !! I was so happy to discover the name of it — KGB! :) I prefer the one in Bangsar because they have an option to sit outside, however the food is the same high quality. I would love to introduce this restaurant in Europe, though they should work on their branding and marketing. The name wouldn’t really do the job especially in Eastern Europe. ;)

Best burger in the Bangsar area! With a very casual and chill environment, KGB is a small restaurant in Jalan Telawi 5, close to Bangsar Village II. The place isn’t very big, but it accomodates people inside and outside. Among many good options, I really recommend the Spiked beef burger, a grassfed beef patty with bacon and sharp cheddar. Goes amazing with their cajun fries, which are also really good. The price is quite reasonable, especially considering the prices around the Bangsar Village area. The service is good, friendly and quick. The restaurant also delivers through Foodpanda to the bangsar village area, so you can order it online. Open wednesday to monday, 5pm to 10:30pm.

KGB now has two outlets; Jalan Telawi and Mid Valley. Both are pretty small spaces but the one is Mid Valley is more crowded. It’s probably not the best place for a big group to hang out due to the small space. I can’t say that they have the best burgers but its definitely pretty good. KGB has its own signature sauce that goes really well with their fries. I end up taking about three helpings for my one set of fries. Also, they have really good milkshakes. Personally, I like the nutella s’mores milkshake but quite a few people prefer the salted caramel milkshake.

HOLYMOTHEROFSWEETPOTATOFRIES! — is what I would yell out whenever I’m here. Finally a place that serves them bad boys! I cannot believe that I constantly miss this place every time I take a visit to Antipodean(the restaurant across the street). Burgers here are quite tasty though I can’t vouch that it is the best. The dining area isn’t huge so I would expect a big crowd presence during lunch/dinner hours. My friend ordered the salt and pepper fries and loves it! I’ve yet to try them but from the way she devoured it, they must be delicious. I ordered the KGB Animal and found that my patty was slightly too salty for my tastebuds. It was cooked to perfection though and the cheese melted almost willingly — even distribution across the whole patty. The buns were nicely toasted with a cute KGB logo marked on top. It got me wondering if they used a hot iron to mark these buns — like how herders mark their cows. And I was devouring a beef burger… is this their method of locking in this moment into my subconscious so whenever I crave for a beef burger in the future, I’ll think of KGB? Could potentially be an interesting method. For parking, I would suggest you to park at Bangsar Village 2 and walk over. The parking around this area is ridiculous. If you refuse to pay for parking, then just Über or grab a cab here. There are tons around anyway. This burger joint is quite clean and the staff is alright. Service wasn’t too efficient despite the many employees hiding at the back kitchen. Perhaps it’s their break time? I wasn’t too bothered anyway — I had great company. Would I come back here? Yes I would, mainly for their sweet potato fries. I would opt for a different burger though — thankfully their range of burgers are quite extensive.

The best gourmet burgers I’ve ever had, they honestly melt in your mouth. The taste is spectacular no matter if you order home or if you have it at the restaurant in Bangsar. They have seatings inside and outside. The interior is not very special and there’s no beautiful or fancy atmosphere to it, it’s just a casual diner. However, if you feel like having a burger I would definitely recommend the place! They have good menu offers. My favourite burger is KGB Spiked and even though they have pricier burgers, it’s not worth it, KGB Spiked is the best! You must try their Herbs Fries! Yummy! It’s worth the guilty pleasure.
