Though the beer are cheap(RM10/half pint) but it was very diluted. Same goes to their cocktail too. My friends and I had to remind the servers multiple times just for them to check our order and serve our drinks & food.

One of the most happening pubs i have ever been, super crowded all the time even during weekdays and weekends, drinks are quite reasonable, beers is about RM15 to Rm18 for pints, cocktails is abour RM22– RM28 and shots is about Rm22-RM28 too. Tried a new shot called«blowjob» its mixed with whipped cream and baileys, tasted like a strong rootbeer taste. Sometimes it tends to get noisy to talk. Tried Apple Somersby for RM17 and it so good and refreshing. Come here early to get place and you have to line up for toilet as usual! A pub to come and chill at night until late.

Another very happening bar in Publika mall, for an easily identifiable reason — RM14nett for a pint of Tiger beer. This is an all night rate and if you just got off work and felt like you need a drink, why not? Popular for the good price list for almost all drinks here, the place is usually crowded once it’s approaching weekends. And, it’d also be easy to find people celebrating their birthdays here, which also explains the weekend crowd. However, the place is not really easy to locate as Publika is separated into different blocks, while Barfly is in block D. The easiest way to look for it is basically to look for Namoo on the Park first, and Barfly is just a few shops away, right opposite from it. And, no — they do not serve watered down beer even for that great price. We know the frustration of getting watered down beer!

Barfly is a bar come club at Publika. The atmosphere is really nice and drinks especially the beer tower is pretty cheap in comparison to most places. The cocktails here taste really good, especially the piña colada which is my favorite. They put in generous amounts of liquor so the drink is nice and strong. The songs played here are good as well the only thing i dont like is how packed it gets. Like you can barely stand without touching someone else and don’t even get me started on trying to get to the washroom. I think it would be best to come around 7pm to enjoy some beers and cocktails and then head off. It’ll be super busy past 10pm so if you’re not into the whole crowd thing then leave by 9pm.

One of my most frequent place to hang out because of the cheap cheap beer tower @ RM73 per Tiger Tower. However do take note that the beer Is diluted. Well all I can say is that is the price you paid for. Usually super packed after 11pm on a Friday and Saturday night. Isn’t a place for you if you want to chill and talk to your friends as it can get a bit too noisy? The crowd there are usually the younger generations like high school and college students. With the great location, we always have our drinks at Barfly after having dinner in Puvblika. Still a place to go, until we find another great hang out spot.

YAYFORCHEAPBEER! :) The best place to be for a night out with friends and if you intend to get more drinks than you usually will. The alcohol sold here are way cheaper than usual bars and clubs. It’s a plus point! Because that’s how they attract people and it makes it look happening. The waiters here are very efficient and helpful and will secure seats for you should there be a huge crowd. It’s good to chill here and I prefer sitting outdoor as it’s more windy and comfortable as compared to sitting inside. It’s quite dark in the indoor area. They also have a pool area for any of us who wishes to play pool. Oh yes the interior was amazing! I love how they use the used beer bottles to form a design on their ceiling. Its really creative and beautiful! Their toilets are very clean and well equipped, never expected that. Gives me more reasons to like this place :)

Barfly is known for it’s cheap and affordable drinks. They also have bar snacks that are available till 11pm for those who are in need of a little snacking. Barfly’s crowd is super crazy on Friday and Saturday nights. They even have house djs spinning on those nights. There are several areas in barfly. There is the inside which caters the djs. There are couches and standing tables inside, resembles a little like a small club. The outside are typically standing tables with the bar. For those who want a little more entertainment, there is a pool table but sometimes it tends to get a little too crowded. The service is pretty good there as well, the waiters are pretty quick so are the bartenders.

If you want cheap affordable alcoholic drinks within this vicinity — barfly will be the best place for it but do keep it mind that since it’s so popular, seats can get filled up rather quickly. One thing with their waiters are that they don’t know the menu nor English really well. We had to repeat our orders several times only for him to come back with a puzzled order. We think this is a hot spot for international school goers too, its a rather interesting place to people watch.

This place is reminiscent of an all-American college frat bar. There’s a lot of college students who come here on the weekends, usually at the corner playing darts. I liked my experience here as the environment is pretty loose and carefree. With all the college people here, it definitely felt like I was on Spring Break. The prices here are pretty steady as well. I paid around RM20 for my Pina Colada. It was pure exhilarating bliss. Very tropical. However, unfortunately, the waiters here lack proficiency in speaking English. I had to repeat my order so that they’d fully comprehend it in hopes of not getting my orders mixed up. Other than that, it’s a pretty cool place to be in on a weekend night.

Barfly takes the crown for the cheapest beers in town. How does RM16 nett for a pint of Tiger and RM20 nett for Guinness? … Like a party! The crowd of happy faces range from regulars to nearby office workers to college kids, all eager for the low-priced booze. People don’t usually order the cocktails here, but when they do, it’s to take up the ‘Barfly Monsta’ challenge — a drinking game where you knock off a glass of strong concoction as fast as you can. Break the outlet’s current record and you get any one drink on the house. However, even without the promotion, their food isn’t too expensive! Seems like a good deal to me. I love this place that occupies from two units into one sizable cosy venue for a great meet over drinks. Concept is very basic according to the young owner who used recycled materials, even his own old home furnitures could not escaped from his picked. He is definitely a young entrepreneur who works double hard to make sure the place be packed with guests and it was when I was there. The environment is as predictable as any other bar, the kinds of people you meet there are from everywhere and anywhere, all bonding over a drink! Barfly has other outlets at Soho KL and StarParc.

I have been to Barfly for two times as far as I can remember, and after reading the reviews about this place from my fellow Unilocalers, j would like to clarify one thing. It is not diluted and watered down beer, but just fake beer. Fake, made in China-type of beer. To truly understand how to taste one is an art in itself. Sure, one tower or one can does not make a difference because most of the time, you just do not give a damn. However, a few draughts and you will notice that there are little to no taste to it, and the thrill and that tingle you have at the temple of your head has not appeared yet, a telltale sign that the shop is selling fake beer. For Barfly, they obviously do, and they let you fall for their trap by selling them at a tip-top price of RM12. I mean, come on, Malaysians! Can’t you see the trap just lying down there for you to fall for it? Then again, I fell for it twice, so I can only tell this to all of you readers: do not come here. Seriously. Just don’t.

It was Valentines night, my group of single friends and I were hanging around Publika for dinner. After we had a sort of heavy dinner at fat boys burger, the girls wanted to drink. Although the night was still young, Barfly was packed with people. Most of them are college students! My guy friends went for the beer while the girls wanted to go for shots. One of them ordered the«Blowjob». She said it was a little fruity like an orange flavoring but she enjoyed it. The service was a little slow probably because it was a full house. We wanted to call for the bill, but no one came where we could actually walk out though. In the end, we went to the bartender and pay him. It was a good experience but I might not return cause I find the atmosphere a little too loud compared to other bars.

This place is the traditional american college bar. Of you come here in weekends you find the place full students, playing different bear games. I like the fact that the place has a pool table. Unfortunately is only one, therefore it will take a wile until you have the chance to play a game. Above the pool table you will find a very interesting deign of the sealing: bottles(check the image). I like the places which have something unique. Another great thing about the place is the big variety of cheep cocktails. I tried the Coconutini which had an interesting taste. The staff is very nice and the music is great. Overall: A great place to come with your friends for a bear and some fun.

Out of so many bars in Publika… I think this one is the cheapest, and serves the most watered down beer I have taste. Booming music and loud crowds, this is a place you will get tad a bit frustrated even if you would like a great party night. The booming music are mostly outdated, too loud for you to talk with your buddies but not amazing enough to to get you moving. On the drinks though, never order a tower because it’s so diluted it will taste insanely BLERRHH. Me and my friends did not even want to finish it because it taste terrible. Finger foods were made pretty bad as well. I ordered a plate of fries and it was rather over fried and the quality of french fries used were terrible, something like what you get in cheap skate mamak places. Well one thing though, they are considered cheap for a bar. However I would rather fork out a little bit more for a decent drink.

Nobody does cheap and cheerful better than these guys at Barfly. Set out to be the cheapest place to drink, in the short span of 2 years, Barfly is already a drinking institution. Come anytime of the day, you will find beer lovers chugging down pints of Tiger, Heineken or Guinness — priced at only RM12 nett to RM14 nett. Crowd of happy(and never rowdy) faces range from nearby office workers, college kids to basically everyone who loves a cheap beer. They have two other outlets in Klang Valley area.
