Cafe Europa

I love this little Italian place. I work at the hospital down the road and they have become our go to take out/​delivery place. Their pizza is great we usually order Sicilian which is always nice and crispy. Their salads are very good and fresh. Pick up is always quick and friendly and delivery is always prompt. The people are super friendly and family oriented and they also have Italian ices! Great family owned local business!

I haven’t noticed a single one.
When my wife and I moved to West Islip about a year and a half ago, we went to the pizza place closest to our house. Because the food was pretty good, we stuck with it for months. While in the Post Office shopping center one night, I decided to give Café Europa a shot. I didn’t have any intention of making this our new spot. I got a salad slice and a sweet Thai chicken slice. They were phenomenal! The service was excellent. The girls behind the counter were so polite! I decided to give them another shot and tried the white slice and a slice of the pizza of the week, a pineapple and coconut shrimp slice. Again, they were both excellent. After going in there three times, the owner recognized I was becoming a regular. When I took three 2L bottles of soda out of the fridge, he said they were on the house because he appreciated the business. It was a completely unnecessary gesture but I really appreciated it! While I was in there that day, a woman came in asking if the pizza place would participate in her kid’s school fundraiser. Without hesitation, the owner said absolutely. Each slice I’ve tried has been delicious and the service has been excellent! On a side note, because my wife and her family are from Italy, I always appreciate a pizza place that has a true connection to Italy. I love the pictures of the small town where I assume the owner or maybe his parent are from.

Absolutely a great place and great staff amazing creations great food when I am on the run, totally enjoy the free sangria Friday’s TGIF.

The pizza is very amazing, but the staff is a little off. Every single time I go here I burn a layer off the roof of my mouth, and I’m left in pain for a couple of days. I actually had skin rip off the roof of my mouth. To top it off one of the employees there forgot about my food on 2 separate occasions, he apologized and gave me extra garlic knots, but they were extremely hot. I most likely won’t be coming back.

What I love about this place is not only Are they always delicious and the service is awesome. It’s almost impossible to find a restaurant where the owner and staff have amazing personalities big hearts and are sincere good people. The food is always fresh and service is quick. I Highly recommend going here. If you are in the Long Island area this is a must go to place I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The service is good and the staff is nice. The pizza is not great… The crust is stiff and the pizza is always over cooked. I know everyone has a different idea of good pizza and well, this wasn’t mine.

The food is great and the portions are big. They are just a little slow with delivery.

I was able to make it back into Café Europa and see the same smiling staff behind the counter. I tried a few specialty slices that the guy behind the counter recommended all to die for. But I had to get a Brooklyn slice as always. Place is a gem. Recommend it highly.

There pumpkin soup is amazing one of the best that I have had. There pizza is really good perfect amount of flavor in every bite. The staff is always very friendly and always ready to help.

After getting food and pizza delivered to work I finally had a chance to go there myself and I Love this place! Excellent service. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Food is very delicious! My coworkers love it as well. They have fast delivery too.

Wasn’t impressed. Greasy pizza. Bland appetizers. Burnt garlic knots. Cold side sauces and food was cold too when delivered despite it being burnt. Tried trying something new.

I went to Café Europa a couple of months ago when the new owners took over and got a chicken Caesar salad slice and was completely disappointed. The lettuce was turning brown, the chicken was tough, and to top it all off the pizza itself was stale and not edible. Since then I have completely wrote off this place, but yesterday I was running around with my dad and we ended up starving and in that shopping center. The pickings are slim so we decided to give it a try… Worst decision ever. I actually could not finish my slice because it was so tough from being frozen and reheated (yes it was frozen I worked In a pizzeria for 4 years during college) and the cheese tasted terrible probably because it was old. My dad and I left sill hungry and drove to Mama Santinas in brightwaters and let me tell you it was worth it. Drive the extra few miles and get good pizza! I would say dominoes is better than this place because at least it’s fresh.

Good regular slice

After growing up in a pizzeria, I’m always skeptical to try a new place. Regardless, I was in foreign territory and my buddy recommended Café Europa. Their specialty slices are great… was real glad to avoid disappointment. Next time I’m in the area, I’m going to have to try out a few of the other slices!

Well, it seems that Sal and the crew sold the place. The new owner and new crew were very nice, but the soups were way too salty and the pizza was just ok. With all the great pizza places around, they better work out the kinks…
