amazing food for a good price! I love their chili cheese fries!!!

This place is so yummy!!! Depending on what u order… The Fries are fresh! So good!!! The frisco burger is impeccable! And the breakfast burritos are delicious!!! (but put more salsa in them; they are kinda dry sometimes). The only issue is they sometimes give u brown avacodo, and the taquitos are sub sub subpar. Oh and the French toast tastes like cardboard. The burgers and fries is what u need to get here! So good!!!

Been going to this place since middle school! I can’t seem to find any other places near by that sells chili cheese fries as amazing as this place. Large chili cheese fries with pastrami, onions, tomato, and lettuce. Ask for ranch and Tabasco on the side. That’s the only thing I get at this place!

Don’t eat here!!! First we waited 25 mins for our food. No apologies from staff. Food did not taste good. Burgers just like an average burger, gyros had way too much sauce in them, just nasty food!!!
The main reason you should not eat here is they prepare the food without gloves!!!
My son is in the bathroom as I write this with diarrhea… disgusting establishment!!!

This place is really good. I really like their breakfast. I love ihop and Denny’s but those places are more expensive and take forever.

Steve’s is a staple of the south bay!

This location is my favorite. They are always friendly. Everything they have is super tasty from the burger to their BLT! But the best is their chili cheese fries.
I also love when a place has a simple garden salad which Steves does. Everyone else in the world tries to make that more fancy than it needs to be.
Breakfast is good too. I’ve only had it once because I always forget they have breakfast, but it’s super yummy.

Love love the chili cheese fries! Seriously I don’t write many reviews but I will say it was in need of this. I’ve been here many times throughout the years and have never had a bad experience. Service and food is amazing!

A bad experience at another Steve’s really made me appreciate this gem and I had to give it a good review. Back in high school I took singing lessons every Tuesday in this area and would eat at Steve’s before every lesson. Thanks teenage metabolism for saving me from obesity lol. Every week my friend and I would share a cheeseburger combo with a tea and zucchini and fries. zucchini and fries are really good… with their ranch of course… Blt and brekkie is good too. Good prices as well. Just a typical diner. Fav Steve’s location!

Great chili cheese fries. Service, however, is inconsistent from the food being inconsistently prepared to having entire items missing from our order. Sometimes the burgers are juicy other times they are over done and hard on the edges– like it was cooked earlier, then nuked for the dinner crowd.
Their orange bang is also awesome, but not so cheap and you get charged more than a regular soft drink. If orange bang is your thing, stop across the street at the 7 – 11 first –they have orange bang but for way cheaper.

I’ve lived in the South Bay my entire life and have been a customer of Steve’s for as long as I can remember… but today was the LAST time I will go there.
I took my daughter and her friend there for breakfast today. As we sat at the table trying to eat together, a fly kept hovering around my daughters plate and repeatedly kept landing on her food. It was relentless… she got grossed out and we decided to ask for a new breakfast. The girls behind the register were really nice, and explained that they were not allowed to give food away at no charge — so they charged us for the new breakfast ($ 6.19) — and told us before we left we could speak with the manager about a refund. So… that is what we did.
When the manager came to the counter, I showed him the receipt and told him what happened. He asked me what happened to the plate and I explained we gave it back. He then went to the workers and asked where the plate was, and they explained it had been put in the back — but someone had cleared it while cleaning — then he went to one of the other workers (I’m assuming one that works in the back) then walked back up to me… said in a very mean and grumpy tone «I didn’t see the fly so I can’t do anything» and THREW the receipt down at me and stormed off to the back office again! I was SHOCKED that he was so RUDE and abrasive! I then said to the girl at the counter that I couldn’t believe how rude he had just been to me and asked if she would please ask him to come back out because I wanted to speak to him… her response was «if I go back there, he will yell at me» (and she looked nervous)…I didn’t want that poor girl to have to worry, so I told her not to bother, and I left. I figured if he was that bad with a customer, he must be at least twice as bad with his employees.
Bottom line — I could care less about the money or the breakfast — honestly, but the way he treated a customer and was so bad that I will never go back again. I feel for the employees that appear to have their struggles with him as well.
A message to him «we customers are what have helped make your business what it is today — perhaps you could take a lesson in proper manners and learn not to scare your employees your behavior this morning was unacceptable.».

It’s your standard burger shack nothing fancy about it. The food is filling, love the fries and the veggie burger is good. It will not hurt to try and odds are you will keep coming back if you live in the area. One thing to point the family meal deal is among the priciest I’ve seen some similar restaurants near by offer the same deal for less.

Just moved out here and we wanted something quick and easy for dinner. We opted for breakfast for dinner. Super good prices, super good food. Nothing to blow your mind, but it’s good for what it is.
We will be returning to try more menu items soon.
Customer Service was awesome, very kind young lady at the register.

I have been going to this very Steves burgers for my whole life and I’ve never gotten bad food nor customer service. The people their including the owner and managers have always been nice giving you the best service they can and the place itself is very clean as well. The only bad things I could say is the prices and the wait of getting you’re food, it may be worth it but for that price and wait you could go to somewhere else around you’re neighborhood and probably eat it sooner then getting your food at steves. But if you are in a location of a steves burgers and you are wanting to try something new with enough money and time on you’re hands I would definitely suggest it to you.

Love this place! It’s a good burger joint and quick breakfast spot, but some of the young girls working there can be a little absent minded. They tend to get orders wrong. I always always must remember to double check my order especially if I’m going through the drive thru or picking up.
Great spot to satisfy pancake craving without having to go to an actual restaurant.

Steve’s has been a favorite of mine for almost 14 years now. Many things about the place have changed in that time but I am amazed by the consistency of their quality. This place sparked my love of charbroiled burgers and I suspect that it’s a love that will never die.
I’ve gone on to try many charbroiled joints since and sure, I’ve found many that beat this place in terms of variety, price or quality but I don’t think there is a single place that will ever occupy the same spot in my heart. Just last night, Steve’s came through for me with a big show of customer service:
I ordered a patty melt combo (my go-​to) and for kicks I added in avocado. The food came pretty fast. The fries were still glistening from the fryer and the burger was so packed with cheesy-​goodness that it wasn’t until halfway through the burger that I realized, there wasn’t a bit of avocado in it! Seeing as how I payed almost 20% extra for it, I couldn’t let it go. Rather than give me a stink about it (as I would expect most burger places to do) they gladly obliged me by adding avocado to the remaining half and even offered me a free second burger. I opted for a second order of fries instead and they responded by adding the second order with a couple onion rings thrown in. My faith in Steve’s was challenged but ultimately augmented by their attention to customer satisfaction.
In short, Steve’s is one of the best all-​around charbroiled burger joints you can find. Definitely give their burgers and fries a go. Their cheeseburger is good enough for a taste of what they have to offer but if you’re in it to win it, go for the Pastrami Cheeseburger combo and you’ll be glad you came! ;)

Place is so dirty, all the light fixtures are covered in dust, the trash can itself was covered in ketchup and ranch dressing. I could not wait to get out of that place.
Also, ordered a pastrami cheeseburger, and the pastrami was so under cooked I couldn’t eat it. They give you less french fries than any place I’ve ever been too, there lunch combo cost way more than it should be.
Overall very dirty and very overpriced. Never ever again.

I was feeling down the other day, so I decided to stop by Steves for some good ol’ cheeseburger to cheer me up! I had junior cheeseburger, strawberry milk shake and zuccini fries. Boy, it was amazing. Burger was juicy and zuchinni fries were crispy. I was a happy kid.
Steves is a local fast food joint. They have several locations in the South Bay. They are known for their burgers and chili cheese fries, but they offer breakast and Mexican food that are quite delicious too. Everything is cook to order so you get hot and fresh fast food.
Drive thru is very slow especially when the restaurant is busy. It can be annoying so I suggest to go inside the store and order your food. You’ll get it much quicker.
I highly recommend this place is you want simple yet good fast food.
