Slowest drive thru EVER! Given them four tries before posting this. Slow and screwed up the order every time! This last time they completely left items out of my bag not to mention the worker had a horrible attitude

Pros: –junior burger is tasty and one of the best fast food burger options if you track macros and the square patties are so cool! –soda machine has so many varieties –the contemporary décor is refreshing and relaxing. Cons: –the hours!!! They open at 9am and close at 10pm. I wish their hours were closer to 7 am to midnight. McDonald’s and jack in the box are open 24 hours, so they get all the business from the late night drinks and stoners. In n out is open from 10am to 1 am as well.

I’d have to say Wendy’s usually is on par with any typical fast food restaurant in terms of pricing, food quality, food quantity and overall experience. I’m giving this location specifically an extra * based upon the décor and aesthetics of the restaurant and dining area, as well as the service overall. I think they have free WiFi too! The food was okay, ‘tho I went early in the morning and ordered the Chili, which I don’t think had time to heat up properly, so wasn’t piping hot. After ordering it without a drink, the cashier proactively offered me a cup for free ice water, which was nice. I am a fan of the Chili. I used to rank Wendy’s french fries as #1, years ago, but I think they changed the formula or use a different distributor for their previously frozen cut french fries or the way they prepare ‘em, so they’re not as good as before but on par with the average fast food french fry, in the realm of Carl’s Jr, Jack in the Box, etc., a notch below McDonald’s but a notch above Burger King’s. This place is beautiful inside, so I just hope patrons don’t mess it up.

Food is good, but it seems that every time I come here its disorganized. They have always been late in getting our orders out, drinks are running out at the soda machine, front counter cash registers is barely being open at 10 am(they open at 9 am). Close to where I’m at, but would recommend going elsewhere.

2÷13÷16, 7pm– horrible management. The manager was rude over the drive thru speaker. So we came inside to order, saw him and he denied the whole thing even though he was clearly wearing the headset and had the exact same voice as the person on the drive thru speaker. When we brought up that fact, he totally blamed an employee clueless of what had just happened.

[Review #141] 2016 Unilocal 100 Challenge(2⁄100) My daughter has recently joined the Wendy’s bandwagon. She loves the kids’ meals here because it comes with an entrée, side, drink, dessert, & a toy… her fav combo is the chicken nuggets, fries, chocolate milk, vanilla Frosty. At one time, the kids’ meals were $ 2.99 after 4:00PM. What value! I typically order a cheeseburger deluxe or jr. bacon cheeseburger with a baked potato. And my husband would choose whatever entices his taste buds, which is usually one of their chicken sandwiches. The ambience is nicer here than the other local Wendy’s. Customer service ranges from excellent to run-of-the-mill, but our meals have always been served hot. This location has 2 Coke Freestyle machines, but usually 1 has issues & serves limited drinks or is out of ice. The restrooms are usually clean & orderly, but not always stocked with hand soap or paper towels. With the ups & downs, the restaurant should average 3 stars. So why the 1 star? We decided to eat out tonight(01÷22÷16), & our daughter’s first choice was Wendy’s. Everything was fine until it was time for dessert. My LO went to station to request for her Frosty, walked over to the drinks & utensils station to grab a spoon, & slipped on the wet floor. Granted there were multiple wet signs on the floor, but it’s SOAKINGWET with puddles, not the same mild wetness from mopping. The Freestyle machines were leaking ice water from the ice, or water dispenser since the water wasn’t sticky. I’ve seen this before because I used to work at a fast food restaurant in my teens. Since it puddled, management should have barricaded the area until the leaks were repaired instead of placing warning cones on top of the water. You’re just waiting for a lawsuit to happen! When my daughter fell, she went down hard on her head. I was sitting about 15 feet away & I heard the«thunk!» :-O With all the commotion she was making(& she was wailing), no one from the restaurant came by to see what was going on. After spending a couple of minutes to calm her, my husband went to the pick-up counter to request for ice so we can ease the pain & hopefully avoid getting a «goose egg.» On our way out, my husband walked gingerly over to get a refill & warned a senior citizen to be careful of the puddles because our daughter just slipped a few minutes earlier. I’m blogging this so there’s a record of this accident. After we got home, I cleaned her up gently & found a small goose egg on the back of her head. We’re keeping a close eye on her in case she has a concussion. So much for a quiet Friday night dinner. I like to see how forgiving my little one is & if she’ll choose to return to Wendy’s in the future… if so, I’ll amend my review.

This Wendy’s is is the poorest Wendy’s I have ever eaten in in all the years that I’ve been going to Wendy’s all through Southern California! A friend and I went in tonight’s ago and the night manager who’s name is Louis is a complete jerk off! I’m going to report him to Wendy’s corporate office The man that took my order made the order correct on the receipt, I ordered a number one with only lettuce tomato catchup and mustard and no cheese I had to take the burger back four times and ultimately Louis the night manager was really upset at the man who took the order and it wasn’t the order takers fault Louis could not make the hamburger right!!! Louis«the manager» then started to put on attitude with me and that is not going to fly with me, rather than get into a further confrontation I’m going to write Wendy’s corporate office and make a call because I’m involved in the food service industry as a vendor and I work for most every big chain of food suppliers there is Wendy’s is not one of them. Louis the night manager after reconstructing the hamburger for the fourth time handed it quickly to the man that took my order and told him there that’s what he wants that’s what he gets! Then Louis looked at me with a very dirty look ! I just had to take take the hamburger and just turn around and walked away! The food at Wendy’s is very good and normally the service is very good but the manager has got to go !!! I will never take somebody’s disrespect like that, I don’t care if they don’t respect me they’re only there to make the food ! I’m not there to be their friend, however I will not allow him to disrespect me and this is going straight up to the corporate office! Is all he had to do was make it the way I asked and even at the fourth time I got back to the table I opened up the cover and I had cheese on the hamburger and my friend with me just started laughing he said this place just sucks so for the fifth time it was not right! That location used to be a Burger King for about 30 years, I’ll tell you something, it is not Burger King, you don’t get it your way you ask for what you want and you take what you get !!! That business philosophy does not fly with me, nor any other fast food restaurant I work for and I’ve told a couple of the restaurants about my experience and they were just in shock ! I have a very large company and I would never talk to a customer or behave towards a customer with the meter I would never reprimand an employee in front of a customer as he did in a very immature childish very passive aggressive way ! I tell you I will report Louis tomorrow! The young man that took my order was very apologetic, I said he had nothing to do with it that I felt bad about the way that Louis was treating him and it just made everything look bad on the management of Wendy’s !! It did not make the man that took my order look bad in the least, he was a gentleman and behaved professionally by not saying something back to his boss, which could’ve happened very very easily. The air in the room that night was very very stiff, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had and as I said I’m a vendor and I work for most every fast food place that all of you have seen daily when you’re driving around on top of big restaurants and everything else I suggest a boycott on that Wendy’s next-door to Montgomery high school until Louis is terminated! It seems like such a small thing to be upset with the hamburger that you didn’t get right the way, you are hit with the dynamics between the manager Lewis and the man that took the order and myself. It was extremely rude and passive — aggressive on the managers part! There was a young couple who had two small children and that guy walked by and he said this place is crap they can’t get my order right tonight and last night they screwed it up as well !! Wendy’s corporate office needs to keep a hold on what goes on in their corporate stores and their franchise locations, I’m assuming that this location on Torrence Boulevard in Torrance next to Bishop Montgomery high school is a franchise I’ll tell you for sure this never would’ve happened at Taco Bell who I work for for 25 years as a vendor! If you tell someone at Taco Bell this is what I ordered and it’s not right, they quickly say I’m so sorry and they give it back to you the way you asked for it in many cases if it’s something small they won’t even charge you or they’ll give you an extra taco or burrito just to show great customer service Taco Bell is phenomenal on what they do, Wendy’s has a hell of a lot to learn from its competition and I’m not biased as I said I am involved with all of the fast food chains, I just choose not to use my company’s info. Wendy’s corporate, you need to pay attention to what goes on in your stores because at this rate you will lose a lot of business! D

Normally this location is decent. But this trip the girl working the drive-thru handed me my Coke Zero. Took a sip when I got home and this is what I discovered… I know it’s a low paying, entry level job but WTH? How hard is it to ensure your customer’s drink order is correct?

The nicest Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. The interior is modern and«upscale» compared to the other Wendy’s I am accustomed to. I love the soda machines! So many choices and interactive! The staff is friendly and my food came out pretty quick.

I love this Wendy’s! It’s clean, modern, the staff is efficient & the fries always seem to be fresh! When you walk inside, you will notice the nice seating, flat screen tv’s and the electronic fireplace. What’s not to like? Ps. They also have one or those modern beverage machines where you can mix all different flavors(it’s also touch screen)

Bacon Pretzel Cheeseburger! Nuff said… It’s been years since I had Wendy’s so I had to have it after seeing it so many times on TV. Thick beef patty, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, cheese sauce on a toasted pretzel bun… Ohhhh mama… It was a delicious and it didn’t give me a stomach ache(MickeyDs and BBking burger does O_o) I ordered a combo that came with skin on french fries and a medium drink, all for $ 7. Not too bad. Next time I wanna try their strawberry salad ^_^. Service was great and the place looks very clean. They also have those new Coke Freestyle soda machine where you can pick from a variety of drinks. It was my first time and it was pretty cool! I never knew this location existed. I was excited to learn that its pretty close to home.

Love the inside. Modern, clean, nice fireplace, and love the soda machine. Unfortunately the service is sub-par. While inside, I stood at the side counter needing some salad dressing and was ignored for quite awhile. I went through the drive-thru and ordered 4 baked potatoes. When I got to the window, they said they only had 2. Okay, why not tell me that when I ordered so I could pick something else? Then I went through again and ordered fries instead. My large fry was missing the top 1⁄3 of fries. Meanwhile I could see 4 – 5 employees inside standing around doing nothing. We probably won’t be back.

Wendy’s took it up a level! Big screen TV’s, virtual fireplaces, comfy well-appointed dining rooms and a selection of soft drinks that you won’t believe! Wendy’s build a new restaurant in Torrance, it is a burger joint that is well… not a burger joint! Great décor and a great selection of chicken sandwiches and burgers. I had a couple of their chicken sandwiches and was surprised on how fresh and moist they were. The soda fountain had 24 selections to choose from. Not only that there were multiple diet sodas and some didn’t even have caffeine. The diet Ginger Ale hit the spot! Next time? Burger for sure!!!

We visited AGAIN tonight 12/06/2013 Ordered a baconator and a portabella bacon melt and once again disappointment. My husband requested no mayo and they put mayo on his baconator and the bacon was burned to a black crisp… I think at this point maybe they are just out to get us

This Wendy’s isn’t like the north Torrance Wendy’s. This one is hip and has a fake fireplace with lounge chairs. Very spacious. I do miss the old burger king that was here(fond memories of that place too). I came here before because the coca-cola freestyle locator said they have one here. COOL!!! 100 plus drink flavors on tap(ummm I mean you can mix). One line to order your meal and another window to pick up your order(which the employees shout out loud your name). I got the chicken sandwiches the last two times. Wi-Fi here sucks, couldn’t do a Unilocal Check-In through my I-pod Touch. Though I had a good signal but probably a lot of noise going through the air(technical networking jargon for you non tech geeks/nerds/whatever).
