Disclaimer: I was a Bert Lynn Leopard so I am disposed to be bias. Bonellos is a tidy pizza shop that prouds itself on dishing out NY-style pizza. And by that, I mean super thin crust pizza. Its run as a ma and pa shop, and the staff always seems to appear tight-knit and close. You can order a whole box, or individual slices. There are 3 main combos that most people generally order. One of them is with just a slice(a slice is really equivocal to two), and a drink, a slice with salad & drink, or a slice with garlic bread & drink. For those who go with the slice, drink, and garlic bread, I recommend adding cheese onto the garlic bread for 25 cents more. Definitely worth it. Notables: — Cool, funny hangups on the walls — Got a great set of condiments that allow customers to enjoy ther pizza in all kinds of ways

If you’re looking for the best slice of pizza with a side of great customer service, come to Bonello’s on Anza ave. in Torrance! This family owned pizza joint offers high quality pizza at a very affordable price. If you’re in a pinch for lunch, grab the two slice combo that comes with garlic bread.

Hands down the best pizza in town! Small family-run business and the owners are very friendly. Pizza’s great. Sandwiches are great too. The sausage sandwich really stands out!

Love their large pepperoni and cheese pizza! Bonnello’s is the closest to authentic New York pizza that I’ve had in the South Bay Area. Only downside is that they don’t deliver past a certain point and they only take cash. I guess it stays true to the whole New York aesthetic, but otherwise, you’ll get a solid pie and has my seal of approval!

Pizza here is incredibly average. Nothing stands out about it. The crust is pretty plain and not worth eating. Not a fan of the fact they are cash only but have one of those ridiculous cheesy ATMs in there that charges a huge fee to get cash.

Pretty decent. We ordered pizza. I think I’d do this or dominoes. The crust was good, we ordered a simple cheese pepperoni. Again nothing magical, but I was disappointed. The price and the fact they delivered made them s good choice for us!

My family and I have been going here for years. We love their food. It’s always tasty and warm. The people who work here are so nice and courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a good pizza, a tasty antipasto salad, or a good spaghetti.

Awesome mom n pop pizza shop. I love spots that sell premium pizza by the slice. This isn’t your ordinary pizza. It’s New York style and they don’t just front the label… the owners are from Brooklyn and this New York style pizza is the real deal. They have affordable lunch specials if you’re on a budget. The special comes with a slice and a soda. Each slice is huge so they cut it into 2 down the middle. I have a large appetite so I get the lunch special and then add another slice on top of that. Today I had jalapeño & pepperoni on the first and on the second ham & mushrooms. It was delicious! The owners are so sweet and friendly. We chatted about how Brooklyn and Queens have become NYC hotspots full of hipsters, espresso bars and yoga studios. Come solo and sit at the bar… come with friends or coworkers and grab a booth. This is a Torrance gem and it’s great to support a local business… two New Yorkers in love achieving their dream in Southern California. This is America, live your dream!

Oh my favorite Bonello’s location & tonight I was reminded of why this one is the best. I haven’t been to this location for a couple years since the one on Narbonne opened up & that one is closer to my house. But prior to that, I would frequent this location and order my favorite sausage, eggplant, & mushroom pizza. Since the Lomita Bonello’s is now closed on Mondays, I drove all the way to Anza to get my Bonello’s fix. On the way, I called to place my order and they were quick to take my order and were kind enough to remind me that it was cash/check only and that they were the one on Anza. Loved the little extra attention to detail! Upon walking in, they all greeted me with smiles and asked what they could help me with. A couple minutes later, I had my piping hot food and I was on my way. I just love this location so much more because you can tell that they have great relationships with their customers. They ask about your day and how everything’s going and that’s just not something that I got at the other one. I’m so glad that the one on Narbonne was closed today because it pushed me to return to this one from now on.

This is a small pizza joint and the parking is limited in this strip mall, you can sometimes find parking on the street if lucky. Prices are reasonable, service is quick, and the guys here are pretty friendly for the most part. I always just order pizza by the slice either pepperoni or plain cheese both very good. Lots of cheese not over sauced, and big and floppy to fold right over like a taco and eat.

This place is a such a good find. Being a Californian all my life, I can’t comment about the«new york» style of the pizza, but i think it’s simple, CHEAP and efficient. $ 3 per costco sized slices with $ 0.50 per additional topping. Came here for lunch 3 days in a week. The lady behind the counter is really nice and let’s you know that she appreciates your coming. Sometimes pizza take a bit longer than your typical fast food takes, but it’s probably bc they freshly bake their pizza. Only thing I’d critique is the small space, especially when so many people love this place. But for the past three times I’ve been here, I always had a seat during prime lunch hour. Other than that, I can eat here every lunch!

My husband has gotten me hooked on this place! He used to eat here before we even met. Now that we have moved back to Torrance I finally tried it and I can say I Love it! Since they only take cash I make sure I always have cash at the house so when we want pizza we do not have to settle for anything else. We usually get their Sicilian pizza which is AWESOME!!! You want an amazing pizza pick them they are the best ones out here!

This placed has ruined both myself and my wife. We can no longer enjoy any other pizza besides Bonello’s. There are many other Bonello’s new york pizza, but I feel this one taste the best. They have a mellow family run environment. Many locals hang out for a slice or two. Nothing special in terms of the décor, just straight good pizza and awesome service. Only downside is they accept only cash with a standalone ATM offered inside.

Being from NY, I was excited to see a place serving pizza by the slice. Walking in, you can smell and feel NY pizzeria. It was on point. The pizza isn’t as good as NY but they’re serving a pretty good slice of pizza here. Cash only but they have an ATM. Would definitely order a pie from here over Costco.

Many of you have heard about the FAMOUSNEWYORKPIE’S and how GOOD they are and authentic to Italy. Well I don’t know causing even though I love to travel I REALLY have not seen too many of the US states New York being one of them. I have been to the airport on my way to somewhere else in Europe. So after a very long day of drinking my meals and then a doctor’s appt I was famished and just about really to gnaw off my own arm. My stomach had twisted around my spine, spline and kidney’s and I was becoming pretty light headed. So as I was stopped at a traffic light I pulled out my trusty not so smart phone and looked up somewhere near by on my trusty Unilocal app. I wasn’t REAL discerning and typed in «FOOD» and up pops this place which eye-spied from the light I was sitting at. SCORE! We pulled into the parking lot and found parking right away. This place is located in the second mini strip mall right on the corner so you can’t miss it. There are other business in this mini strip mall so depending on what time you get there you might need to be patient. This place had a steady flow of traffic. It seemed that most people called in there order and came by to pick it up and leave. Other came in to actually sit and eat. There are about 4 booth seats and a couple counter stools but seating is pretty sparse and don’t take much to sill up. The menu is small but adequate with 2 sizes of pies, meatball sands made with a BASEBALLSIZED meatball which is cut up into your sand, torpedoes sands, eggplant, garlic bread, Italian salads, spaghetti, mostacioli, etc. You can also order SLICES of pizza which is what drew me in along with its proximity to where I was. I don’t always want a WHOLEPIZZA that I’m most likely NOT going to finish to eat later so it goes to waste. I also didn’t feel like getting one of those do-it-yourself type pies that in most case I STILL have left overs so this was PERFECT. They also have combo deals. Which are a slice of pie and a drink for $ 4.00, a slice of pie, drink and garlic bread for $ 6.50, or a slice of pie, drink and a small salad. DING, DING, DING… Decision Made. Can I get a #3 combo please? For the sliced pie they have cheese or peperoni and you can add any extra toppings if you like. So I got a slice cheese pie and added onions, olives and shrooms. My drive got a slice of cheese pie and added sausage we both got drinks and shared the small salad. PLEASENOTE: There slices are HUGH so you are really getting 2SLICES of PIE in the combos. They also ONLY take CASH and charge $ 0.50 for drink refills! I didn’t know but they were able to accommodate me because they have an ATM that basically uses NOLUB when it tells you to bend OVER so they can charge you fees. I HATE those machines but it was a means to an end. It’s a small family owned business and they don’t want to take the risk of you over spenders or thieves when it comes to plastic. But being it is family owned they know ALL their REGULAR customers, and their families and lives. SOOOOREFRESHING! The food was ready in no time and came out HOT, HOT, HOT! LOVETHAT! Nice thin crunchy crust and the pie sauce was FLAVORFUL! I LOVEMYFOOD and it hit the spot. Being that I was starving I inhaled my food and needed to be rolled out. My driver also ENJOYED the food. LOVE hole in the wall, family owned places. NO they are NOTALWAYS so GREAT but this one lived up to my expectations. It is LAWAYSGREAT to have a go to spot when you’re not around your regular stomping grounds and this place was PREFECT!

Recently vacationed in New York and I can honestly say no other pizza tastes like NYC pizza! Came back Home and was craving some authentic New York pizza and looked up on Unilocal this location & thats exactly what we got. The customer service here is great, family oriented, friendly, and very hospitable. The pizza tasted just like the pizza they have in Manhattan NYC, delicious authentic Italian pizza and huge slices to! Will definitely keep on coming back! this place is cash only!
