We stopped by here on a recent trip to the Cape. When we first got there, it was a cute little place and we hoped it would be as good as the other reviews had suggested. We were standing at the counter for a good 10 minutes before someone came to take our order as they were too busy chatting with the other person there. Way over priced for two slices of white bread with a few pieces of pre-sliced deli meat. Better off going to one of those chain sandwich places.

Still no togo menus, but had a nice breakfast there of a breakfast sandwich. It was very good and reasonably priced. The egg was scrambled with cheese on a bagel, just the way I wanted it. The waffle was a little soggy. The iced coffee was very good. The prices are great. The owner was a bit gruff, but efficient. There is seating outside and inside, but no bathrooms. Cute little place next door to the Great Island Bakery. Limited parking, but enough. A nice little place.

Okay food. Okay service. Lots of weird rules were posted around the restaurant. «No phones» «only come to the counter when you know what you want» weird.

My family visited cape cod for the first time from CT and stumbled upon this place. Awesome service! Great food! Its for people who are looking for good old fashioned atmosphere and some laughs with the hilarious woman who took our order and cooked our food. The one person who gave this place a bad review because they couldn’t get a menu completely missed out on a real gem. Do yourself a favor and go.

Very nice little joint in what used to be a house. Owner/cook/waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. Lobster roll was amazing and made with«no filler»(as stated by the owner). You’ll be paying lobster market price for the lobster roll and it’s worth it. If I lived on cape I would eat about 5000 lobster rolls a year from this place.

Stopped by for a quick lunch, just arriving on Cape for vacation. Friendly people operate this tiny place — they add charm! Good sandwich, and an easy walk to the cottage. Good lobster roll — a good amount of lobster. They even serve Cap. Parker’s chowder!

Immediately upon entering, we were welcomed by the two owners. How happy they were to see us started thing on the right foot(this included a very active 18 mo old and a 6 yr old). To me, this adds to the experience. We had breakfast sandwiches which were good, and coffees. Nice spot and worth a try.

A hidden gem! Great for breakfast or lunch. The Grand Slamwich(Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Eggs, and Cheese on a roll), and the blueberry pancakes are our favorites for breakfast. The Chili dogs and lobster roll are our faves for lunch. Everything is made there and you can taste the difference. Oh, and if you have any room left after eating, try the Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies! Pure Heaven!

My husband and I came in early on a Sunday morning for a couple breakfast sandwiches. I got the egg and cheese on an english muffin and he got a «pork roll», egg and cheese on a bagel. We didn’t know what pork roll was but apparently it’s a mix between ham and salami. Interesting! The food was good, fast and cheap, but what really stood out was the service. The two women working were SO friendly and when I redeemed my free coffee with purchase for checking in using the Unilocal app they were straight up THRILLED. They legit celebrated for a few minutes yelling«You go girl!» and woo-ing at random. Needless to say, next time I come to this area I will be back. And if you’re in the area, get a free coffee when you check in on Unilocal and make the owner’s day!

I was at the DMV looking for a place nearby for lunch. Scrolling Olde C Dogs’s menu showed grilled cheese, which I had been craving, so I told Joe that’s where we were going! The place is a cute little shack with a couple tables outside and a small parking lot. I can’t even fathom what it must be like on a weekend, since the whole place is so tiny and everything is made to order. The woman behind the counter and the chef were both incredibly nice. The kitchen is totally visible from the ordering counter, so you can watch your lunch getting cooked. I wanted to get a plain grilled cheese, but the veggie melt sounded good so I went with that. Joe, being a daredevil, got the mac and cheese sandwich. We each got a root beer and I ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert. NOBATHROOMS!!! I had skipped the bathroom at the DMV assuming I’d go when we got to Olde C Dogs. As a result I had to pee soooo bad. I ended up taking the car to the Walgreens up the street.(DIRECTIONSTONEARESTBATHROOM: Make a right out of the restaurant, left at the end of the street, road will curve right and Walgreens will be on your right. It is walkable, but not if you’re about to pee yourself!) I returned to find our food had just come out(so it took about 15 minutes or so). I could smell the spinach before I even sat down. This was not a grilled cheese, this was a hot spinach sandwich with cheese on top! I scooped about half of it out. Otherwise, it was very good. Very nicely toasted! The mac and cheese sandwich definitely won. A fun idea, well-executed and tasty. Both sandwiches came with a bag of chips and a limp, sad pickle. The counter lady kept an eye on us and when we were wrapping up our meal, she brought out the ice cream sandwich. I’m not going to rate that, bcs it’s ice cream between two cookies and therefore always delicious. So overall, I liked Olde C Dogs, even though I think i’d just grab a regular grilled cheese next time. They have a veggie burger, which I have yet to try. I wish they had veggie hot dogs… that would make sense.

We really, Really wanted to love this place! We have been vacationing at the Cape for 14 plus years. We were excited to see the reviews on Olde C Dogs as we always love trying new places. Here’s the scoop: My husband ordered the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon but when our order was delivered, it was missing the tomato and bacon. He asked the woman about it and she said… «Here keep that, we’ll bring you a new one.» Several minutes later a 2nd woman brings him a plate with tomato and bacon on it!!! What!?! Did they think he was going to shove this in his already cooled off grilled cheese? Weird! I ordered the much anticipated lobster roll. I thought the portion size was nice. Wasn’t overly generous but not wimpy either. I loved the way it looked and the fact that it wasn’t drenched in mayo! However, then I took my first bite… Bummer! The lobster was cold and had a strange acidic lemon flavor. I’ve never had lobster that tasted like that before. It wasn’t terrible but it certainly wasn’t what I hoped for either. My son ordered the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese which he devoured! He loved it! My daughter ordered the kids Mac and Cheese and thought it was lacking flavor but she liked the twisty noodles and ate it all. She was disappointed as she thought the kids meal came in a beach pail with a drink and cookie. Apparently, there is an upcharge for this which we would have gladly paid had it been offered to us. Overall, the ladies running Olde C Dogs were friendly and welcoming. They could use another set oh hands though, especially in July. The gentleman behind us in line walked out because of the wait time. As I said, we really wanted to LOVE this place but unfortunately, we will not return. With so many fabulous food places on the Cape, it’d be hard to justify a return visit.

Loved this place! Not only was the food good but the owner and her sister were awesome! I went there with my husband and 2 kids. My daughter got tuna in a hot dog roll(which is not on their menu) in a pail with a shovel. It came with chips and a cookie decorated as a hotdog. She thought it was really cool and we got a pail and shovel out of the deal. My husband and I got a grilled cheese sandwich called veggie delight but swapped the tomato with turkey. So much for veggie :) they were more than happy to accommodate our requests! The woman cooking the food is the owner who, like I said, was more than accommodating to our requests. The woman taking the orders at the counter was great as well! She was giving me advice on where we could take our daughter to have fun on the rainy day. She was awesome! They even gave my daughter ice cream for free because it was her birthday! The interior of the place was well decorated, cozy, and clean. Would definitely recommend! :)

Little hole in the wall but lobster roll overflowed w/¼ lb lobster meat on a perfectly grilled buttered hot dog roll. My wife loved the way the high ceiling was painted as a lovely summers day sky
