This place is great! Went here for a late breakfast and ended up ordering a pastrami and Swiss cheese with tomato, onion, home made pickles on fresh white bread! Wow. best pastrami sandwich Eva!!! The coleslaw looked(maybe) like it was prepared a while ago… but tasted great! The environment is a classic old time family restaurant. Service was great and food prepared quickly! Definitely recommend for a breakfast or when in the mood for a nice hearty sandwich and side! Oh. and the price is totally reasonable. check it out its a great choice!

Food was decent. Manager was clearly a jerk, and being extremely mean to the employees… Making a scene by telling one to shut up in the middle of the dining hall. Extremely unprofessional and made the atmosphere terribly Grimm. Food was decent, waitress was efficient.

Living super close to Piccadilly it’s always a suggestion for breakfast. However the two times I’ve eaten here I’ve gotten sick afterwards. The most recent time I went I got two sunny eggs, home fries, toast and sausage. It still amazes me that home fries are an extra charge where as almost anywhere else you’d go it’s included in the price of the main meal. The restroom was a disaster with the toilet paper holder taped together and when going for some paper it completely falls apart. Maybe their lunch items are better than their breakfast? I stick to the breakfast spot close by that I love, right across the street, Big Al’s. Cheaper, closer and I never get sick off their food.

Very bland and flavorless food. Scrambled eggs and pancakes were flavorless. Sausage eggs and cheese on croissant was bland and croissant was only fair. Everything bagel was even tasteless. Service was good and fast. Extremely loud in restaurant. Décor is even bland. There are much better breakfast places out there. Nothing wrong, but nothing memorable.

Got a chicken salad sandwich to go, and for $ 7.50 I’d expect a nice sized sandwich, nope it’s literally a sandwich on tiny wheat bread from stop and shop. Would expect homemade bread at that price. Value for price isn’t there, won’t be back.

Breakfast was great here. Omelet, home fries, toast and tea. Next time is ask for cheddar in the omelet instead of American, but that’s a minor quibble. The homes were awesome! Crispy just the way I like them. The tea was Lipton, but I had no expectations of anything better so it was fine. Friendly and prompt waitstaff. I want to be clear, this is off-off season, and I will try to get back here during the summer and see how it all holds up.

Breakfast is not a complicated meal, yet many places manage to screw it up. Not Piccadilly, they know breakfast and do it right. Banana pancakes all day!

Good deli food at a great price for the cape. I have to admit I was pretty hungry and ignored the clowns, otherwise they would have creeped me out. Excellent Ruben and other deli sandwiches. Would return and try breakfast.

I stopped over for breakfast at the Picadilly last weekend. Remember in Dumb and Dumber when Jim Carrey says«Personality plus, every time!»? That was our waitress. Look I’m from N.E., not the South, this woman was not friendly. The food wasn’t friendly either. My omelet was the tiniest thing I have ever seen. It was the size of a smart phone. And, it didn’t come with homefries. After I came across this information I swore the place off, but on top of that, after I ordered a side of them and they arrived, they tasted like stale grease and bacon. Two omelets and one coffee was $ 23. Never again.

We have been dining here for both breakfast and/or lunch for years. Always pleasant staff and varied menu… reasonable prices and speedy service. My niece loves the homemade soups with Texas toast and I’m a fan of the cheese blintzes, or a toasted steak and cheese sub. A homey atmosphere with friendly people. Highly recommend.

I will definitely be a regular here. Hubby had a linguicia omelet that was excellent. My oldest had biscuits and gravy and while they weren’t the true southern recipe they were excellent. The little one had chocolate chip pancakes. They were the best I have ever had. I had the Western skins. They were on special so I’m not sure how frequently they have them, but they were eggs scrambled with onions, peppers, and ham, on top of crispy potato skins, and covered in hollandaise sauce! Delish! I’m dying to try all the different eggs benedict. We got there shortly after 10am and there was a wait. But it moved very quickly. The staff was very friendly and up beat. To be honest, I barely even noticed the clowns. Definitely my new favorite breakfast place.

Food is always good… service pretty good… sometimes there is a wait, but overall worth the wait. I usually get the Picadilly omelette(w/cottage cheese, mush and tomatoes) Always good also the popeye benny is good. Nice and close to our summer home too. Worth giving it a try and becoming a regular there!

I don’t know what some peoples’ problem with clowns are. I wasn’t creeped out at all… actually those who were«creeped-out» need to get a life… or a psychiatrist to work out their«clown issues.» Ok, now down to the food. Everything was almost excellent(thus the 4 out of 5). Maybe I expect too much from french toast. .. but they weren’t the best I’ve ever had… I actually think I make better french toast… maybe that’s why most places don’t live up to my french toast expectations. To me the french toast tasted like bread wrapped in a fried egg… not sure if that is due to the egg batter not fully soaking into the bread or being cooked at too high a heat. Either way, not to my liking. However, the pancakes my son had were excellent… and they serve the pancakes(and french toast) with real, artery clogging butter… yummo! My wife and older son both had the bacon, cheese and tomato omlet which they both said was great. The coffee was typical diner coffee… therefore, pedestrian at best. My son’s chocolate milk had to be made with whole milk… so thick and creamy. Overall, I highly recommend Picadilly… just not the french toast.

I’m sad to see the Picadilly getting such a luke-warm rating on Unilocal. This place has been a K family favorite for years and years and years and always has solid food and fast and friendly service. I have to wonder; is it the clowns? I must admit, even for a townie like myself, the copious clown-themed murals, ever growing collection of clowncentric artwork and plethora of creeptastic clown dolls can be overwhelming at times. However, the 10+ eggs benny options on the menu, coffee that tastes good black and the promise of a clown-shaped, frosted sugar cookie at the end of the meal make it all a bit easier to bear. Word to the wise/your moms: Y-town is a church-goin’ community. So, if you show up at 10AM, be prepared to wait. That said, the line moves quickly and, in my opinion, PD is worth the wait.

I love this place — no nonsense food at good prices, served by a very friendly staff. Have never had a bad meal here, you always get what you are expecting. The clowns are kind of creepy, I make a point to avoid eye contact with them;-) You can NOT find better clam chowder than the chowder here. It is insanely good and worth going off any diet for!!! If you are in the area and want a no frills breakfast or lunch, stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

Very greasy spoon diner with scary circus clowns everywhere. I like a good greasy spoon now and then but this was just too much grease and very mediocre food. Spend your calories elsewhere! I honestly would not recommend anything the group I was with tried. This included bacon & eggs breakfast plate, grilled cheese, and hot pastrami sandwich. Thumbs down on all three. Also had a cup of clam chowder that was OK.

First thing’s first – I hate the clowns. Creep-fest. That said, the food is pretty good here. I’ve had a couple different things but I find that my favorite meal is the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an english muffin with potatoes TOGO.(Avoid the clowns, see?) My best friend found this place when I was bedridden after having surgery, high on drugs, and craving some good, greasy breakfast. It did not disappoint. If staying over on 28, I’d definitely go here before I went to the Pancake Man. Awesome baked goods, too.

The clowns… the clowns! eek! If you hate clowns, you’ll be creeped out here. However, they make a good grilled sandwich and fries. I had the Marleena(i think that’s right) twice and liked it alot. The service was a bit on the lacking side, but good food.

Great food, fast service, and pretty good prices. I have been here many times, and can legitimately say, don’t worry about the line. It moves pretty quickly. The pancakes tasted like delicious candy. Eggs, toast, home-fries; all delicious and covered with butter(not for the health conscious.) I can also recommend the bakery counter, where some excellent butter cookies can be procured.
