Its a cute breakfast deli with baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. If you are in the mood for large portions with home fries, don’t come here. They serve food on paper plates with plastic utensils. Hence, good for quick bite. The décor is 80s style with plenty casual seatings. We were excited to come here because of all of the reviews, but was slightly disappointed. Hubby had french toast which were very small… 4 mini slices of french toasts, it tasted fine, but nothing to rave about. I had the Leggs Benny, it was good, with lumps of lobster meat, so I was happy with it. We also had 2 lattes, which were good. Total came out to be $ 20. Very reasonable. I feel if you are on vacation and looking to stuff your face and have servers serve you, skip this place. However, if you are on the go and looking for decent quick BK, come here instead of Dunkin Donuts.

Skip the line at the Pancake Man across the street, unless you are in the mood for hanging out with hordes of Russian tourists, and go to Keilar’s instead. Delightful! Wonderful, healthy food choices, prepared with tender care in front of you, taking your wishes into consideration. Delicious, super reasonably priced, great service, cool space indoors and outdoors, a delight all around!

Great breakfast pastries! I haven’t had a kronut before, but theirs was delicious. It was a fluffier croissant with a cinnamon sugar coating. The outside was crunchy and the inside still warm. For $ 13 we got 1 figure eight, 2 kronuts, and 2 crullers and it was well worth it! Most of the pastries were $ 1 – 2, but the kronuts are $ 4. They also had desserts that looked great too, like 7 layer bars and brownies.

Great spot on the Cape for breakfast! Looking for something different while on vacation, we decided to check it out based on the reviews here. My daughters both had doughnuts, my wife a Danish, and I went for a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. Everyone enjoyed theirs. I was very pleased with my sandwich. I believe the eggs were baked, which made for a nice thick sandwich, with plentiful, crisp bacon and flavorful cheese. The coffee was great. While we ate in the dining area, we watched a girl decorating a cake, and it was coming out really nice. I really liked the décor. Done up like a 50’s diner, there are a bunch of retro collectibles displayed, including an impressive assortment of those old-school oscillating fans that you hear the horror stories about. We liked it enough to return the next day and will probably make this a regular stop on our yearly trips to the cape.

Excellent breakfast spot and bakery. Baked egg sandwich is excellent. Had the egg and cheese on croissant. I prefer the baked egg, but not everyone does. It has the consistency and look of tofu and very thick. The chocolate covered macaroons are to die for and the cruellers are excellent with moist inside and crunchy outside. It was glazed with coconut and warm. Restaurant is nearly a museum with antiques and memorabilia. A must stop.

Small place. But, what a service they provide. Food is delicious. Highly recommend trying Leggs Benny for breakfast. Owner is very friendly. The whole atmosphere is from the 60’s. They make fantastic coffee.

Seriously awesome. We got the greatest cake for a family birthday on very short notice that was amazing. Plus the iced coffees are super yummy, and the krullers are absolutely to die for. Glad there’s still a nice bakery in Cape Cod that isn’t a total tourist trap.(:

Very helpful and friendly service. Got the cinnamon kronut, pistachio muffin, cinnamon roll and chocolate covered crullers. All delicious. Only thing I could say was that the kronut was way overpriced at $ 4…I will be dreaming of it none the less!

Cute spot. Their iced coffees are good and definitely a step up from a Dunkin Donuts run before the beach. I love the inside. The baked goods looked phenomenal– I will be back to try them out!

Very disappointing for breakfast. Very limited choices. The breakfast sandwiches were just ok. The bagels were soft and chewy. The donut was a cupcake.

Maybe ok for the cape… but by my standards nothing was good that I tried. Breakfast burrito, coffee(which somehow ended up being a mocha when I ordered a macchiato, I wasn’t going to complain about the mix up because I’m sure it was a honest mistake but it wasn’t good as a mocha either) and blueberry scone were all mediocre at best. However, I do want to give them two stars because everyone working there was just delightful. I mean really nice and eager to talk to you and I feel kind of bad giving them a bad review because the people were so nice. But the food was just not good.

Made a stop here twice in two days and it was worth it. Got the BLT both times and it was one of the best I’ve had. Great nostalgic ambiance and the people that work here are very friendly. Would highly recommend this place!

Service is very friendly. We had blueberry pie and raspberry kronuts + croissant. I like how they try to add a twist to pastry, but the kronuts are too sweet for our taste(most Unilocal reviewers seem to think differently) and the abundant filing makes it hard to hold/eat. The dough is not bad though, and I’d be interested in trying something else with this dough recipe. The croissant is very buttery with little texture. If you like American pastry, this is the place to go with abundant choices and friendly service.

I just ordered an iced latte, their opinion of an iced late is iced coffee with milk. Way overpriced and employees aren’t the brightest.

We stopped here because we noticed the sign said they served breakfast. We were hungry and didn’t know the area, so we stopped here. This is mostly a bakery, but they have breakfast and lunch items . The first thing I noticed was the array of baked goodies! Fig bars, donuts, cronuts, chocolate covered goods! Yummers! We all ordered steak breakfast sandwiches, which were pretty good. We got fig bars, chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, orange crush cake, and chocolate eclairs for the road. They mix a lot of things together to create signature items. They were great and definitely came in handy later. The owner and his daughter were such a pleasure to talk to. They gave us a lot of background about their restaurant. Great people!

The raspberry kronut that I had was great! My wife had an egg and cheese on a croissant which was also very good. She also said the coffee was very good.

Great friendly service. A quick way to avoid dunkin donuts and grab a great breakfast sandwich for a great price. The desserts were also excellent.

Cute little bakery/breakfast place tucked into a strip mall opposite The Pancake Man and Skull Island golf. Having such conspicuous neighbors, Keilar’s can be easy to miss, but I would say Keilar’s is definitely worth a visit. I had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it was oh so buttery. The croissant combined with the egg, sausage and cheese does not make for a healthy breakfast, but it makes for a perfectly enjoyable one. I didn’t want to eat that dangerous concoction two days in a row, but I did want more Keilar’s, so I headed back for baked goods the next day. The apple dumplings, the pecan sweet buns, the turnovers, it’s all good. Although the scones felt more like muffin tops. I will definitely head back next time I’m in the area.
