I work nearby and stop by often. The crew that works here is the bomb! Everyone here is friendly and makes the best out of their job with a smile. Don’t be suprised if they remember your order after a few times coming to this location. Shoutout to Kyle, Lizzie, Aalexus, Michael, Daniel the manager and the rest of the crew here!

St. Patricks day 2016 long line and there was one girl that was so rude to my friend. Other employees were pleasant. So if you want a coffee with a side order of attitude, this would be your place.

There is only one guy I really like being served by in this place — and hen again, he makes my coffee, doesn’t take the order. Otherwise I go there out of not having the choice and avoid it as much as I can. One of my least favorite Starbucks and their rating no doubt reflects my opinion. Boo.

I go to a lot of different Starbucks and this one I got quick service and a tasty beverage.

The staff here needs a major dose of happy pills. I’m not sure if there was a recent announcement of pay cuts but you would think the entire staff were way overworked and that even a smile were too expensive to give away for free! As for the coffee… eh…consistently Starbucks!

UG. While I never have a problem getting a table here(and there are *two* big ones!), there is only ONE outlet in the whole place, and it doesn’t seem to hold anyone’s cords in effectively! On the other hand, staff is always cheery here, the regular clientele are non-crazy(for the most part), and they have the standard assortment of dense, carby goodness in the form of chocolate chip banana bread, frosted cupcakes, and cookies, etc., with only a few fruit platters and naked juices quietly whispering guilt from the bottom shelf. Props for a consistently clean and well-stocked bathroom, minus the annoying, extra-germy keypads.

So I’m on a daily listserve for …yea. Gotta keep my beauty knowledge up to date… Today’s tip of the day for all you starbucks drinkers– starbucks napkins apparently work wonders to absorb shine and grease off your face! Gross, I know, but hey! Kinda useful!

Ok Starbucks, you got me. As someone who used to be a proud non coffee drinker I have caved and now surrender to the majesty that is STARBUCKS. And when I need my Starbucks fix and am not beat down broke, I always head over to this one. They are rarely packed(a plus, because lets get serious, dont fuck with me when im waiting for coffee. I’ll straight up choke a bitch for a caramel macchiatto. For serious) And the baristas that work here are super cheery and nice(but no the point were i feel the need to bring them down a notch i nmy jilted coffee deprived mind-set)

this starbucks SUCKS. fo realz. i used to go here because its between the embarcadero station and my work, but not anymore. whatever i order takes at least 5 – 10 minutes to get. even if its iced tea. even if there are only 1 – 2 other customers in the place. not cool. i used to work at a starbucks. ice to one line, tea to the next, water to the top. there is a woman who generally works as barista in the morning and she is ALWAYS paying more attention to whoever she is talking to than actually making drinks PROPERLY. no, soy is not the same as whole milk.

This is right across from my office, so I stop by this place every morning for my coffee fix. One sentence sums it up: I just love the staff at this place! My order is not your everyday«coffee» order. It’s pretty long and complex, and yet, these guys always gets it right. After awhile, they knew my order by heart, and would start on it the minute they see me in line. It’s great when your order is ready by the time you get to the counter(which can be somewhat of a wait, because everyone’s getting their caffeine fix in the morning). The staff is super friendly. Definitely morning people. They’re always ready to joke or chat it up. I’ve actually became friends with a few of them. Recommend this place if you’re in the neighborhood… .even though I know there’s probably 3 other Starbucks down the block.

The main reason I patronize this Starbucks is so I can get a sunny window seat to read a book on my lunch breaks. The Battery/Pacific location works perfectly for me because it’s not one of the heavier trafficked locations in the Financial District, and I can quietly read and enjoy my mocha frapp or soy chai in peace. It’s not my favorite location(very small and lacks the food selection), but I really like this quiet space during the work week. Plus, they’ve never goofed on a drink and the staff is consistently friendly.

I’m going to admit that part of me feels guilty giving a Starbucks a positive review… but on the other hand, this one totally deserves it. My favorite drink at any coffee shop right now is an ice-blended soy latte. You would not believe how hard it is to get this drink! At every single coffee shop, they always want to add some sort of sugary powder to it to «make the texture better.» Screw the texture, I’m sick of overly sugared drinks! If I wanted to drink that many calories, I’d have a margarita! So what I really want is a sugar-free, ice-blended soy latte. If I order that somewhere else, like It’s a Grind for example, they want to throw in yet another powder made to taste sickly sweet but made with Splenda. No thank you! If I wanted a laxative, I’d just go buy it at the pharmacy! So anyway, this Starbucks is close to where I work… so I thought I’d swallow my disdain for the chain and try it. Since I was ordering an espresso drink, I thought might be ok(I really don’t like their coffee). When I went it and ordered it(very specifically), they just looked at me like I was nuts because I was being overly descriptive in my order. «Ice-blended soy latte with nothing else added? No problem!» God bless them. Say what you want about Starbucks, but they will make just about anything you ask them to make… and for that they get 4 stars. They people who work at this particular shop are extremely nice too, and now they even know me when I come in. They still think it’s funny that I’m so nervous about ordering my drink and getting it right. If they ever improve the coffee, I’ll up it to 5 stars!

So I don’t drink a lot of coffee so me writing up a review for Starbucks may not be a place for the best authority on coffee. With that said I usually go with a group of people from work and we all order different drinks and they always manage to always get them right. Most my interaction with the Baristas there have been good. They seem friendly and don’t mind joking around with you. I’d say this is a great place for an afternoon pick-me-up

This starbucks kept me from losing my mind. During a three month binge of working Saturdays and Sundays I would come here at least once every Saturday to get my venti iced. On the very last weekend I was working those hours the barista apologized to me and said that it was the last Saturday they would be working. I said same here. Solid Starbucks; they have yet to make fun of me when I order my triple tall nonfat no-whip peppermint mocha(with one pump peppermint and one pump mocha).

Since I go to this location at least once a day, I feel that I am obliged to review it. This Starbucks definitely does a good job hiring friendly people! I look forward to my daily coffee break every day(around 3:00 or 3:30), when I walk around the corner with a couple of my co-workers to get my mid-afternoon boost. Sometimes this location is crowded at that time and sometimes empty, although I really don’t mind when it is crowded, because after-all the whole point is to take a BREAK from work! If they are re-brewing coffee, they offer you an Americano for the same price as a coffee if you don’t want to wait ten minutes for the new coffee to brew. I usually order a tall coffee or an iced coffee with a shot of syrup(lately it has been either a shot of gingerbread or a shot of pumpkin spice), it makes the coffee a little bit sweet and gives it some flavor. Delicious! Don’t forget to take the free daily download of the day(which is usually some song you have never heard of) & on your way back to the office you can read«the way I see it» on the outside of your cup… oh, wait I think they may have already switched to the red holiday cups! I wish that Starbucks put out soymilk w/the whole, half/half, and nonfat milk containers and that their chai lattes were not so sweet, but overall I am starting to like Starbucks more and more. I don’t know if it will ever reach Peet’s in my book, but for now I will have to suffice!

I like coming here to observe the angry barista. She’s full of angst, muttering under her breath, throwing down towels, flinging away coffee lids. I hate you, stupid cheap-ass broken coffee lid!!! WHAP!!! But then she’s always polite and helpful to the customers.

This is a little Starbucks in the Golden Gateway Center complex, across the street from the Safeway. It’s your standard Starbucks, although the store seems to have adopted a bird that now lives inside the store. Its nickname is Charlie and it lives on a couch in a corner. This Starbucks location also doesn’t carry hot breakfast items.
