7a closed? And they serve breakfast? And I am talking about a weekday morning in an active working neighborhood. Glad they get to sleep in.

Nice ambiance but the service and food was incredibly sub-par(especially given the price). Met up with some coworkers who had already purchased food and drinks, and before I could even put my stuff down an employee walked up to me and went«just so you know, you’ll need to order something». Ok dude, got it. I went to the front and order some $ 8+ avocado toast that was advertised as «2 pieces of toast with avocado, served with fruit and hash brown». What I ended up with was one little piece of toast with a few chunks of avo. Nothing else! Once again, disappointing for the price.

Another Sandwich/Soup/Salad place in the FiDi, except pricier. It’s fast casual where you order at the counter and then eat on proper plates with real silverware, so a tad nicer than grab-and-go. The food was tasty, but at this price point you might as well go to a full service restaurant with more options. Vegetarian Burger: The burger patty itself was really good; crispy exterior and a mealy texture. Just wish it was bigger. The bun felt pretty bready in comparison. I liked the avocado and large bits of red onion, but there was an overwhelming amount of lettuce. Roasted Cauliflower Soup: Creamy. Full of umami. Didn’t have any of that raw cauliflower funk. Very tasty, but came in a small ramekin that other restaurants use to serve dipping sauces. Arnold Palmer: Felt like more Iced Tea than Lemonade. Would have preferred more of that fresh lemon sourness.

This place needs to get a lower rating; too bad I could only give one star. The only reason I decided on entering this place is because subway right next door was too crowed. I should have waited in line over there and got my quality sandwich at a decent price. As with every other place in SF, these start up shops are overpriced and do not compensate in quality and good customer service. So I went into this Fora Think Place ordered my sandwich(way over priced for the Cuban crap they gave me). I was expecting a much bigger sandwich for the price I paid. As I said before — could have waited in line at subway paid half the price and got a better quality sandwich. When I ordered a drink(coke) I was offered a glass with ice, along with my bottle of coke. The problem is that the glass they gave me had a big hole in the bottom so of course when I poured the coke into my glass it spilled all over the floor, table and my pants. The lady at the front counter noticed this and decided on doing/saying nothing. She could have offered another coke on the house since it was her fault for giving me a damaged glass. She did nothing except laugh in private with one of her coworkers. Finally, some guy came over with my sandwich and noticed the spill so cleaned it up. I told him that the lady gave me a glass with the hole at the bottom. He didn’t seem to care or offer an apology. I will not be returning to this so called sandwich shop in the near future again. As it is, they do not really get that much business. Now you know why. Just go to subway next door.

Pretty impressed with this little shop. Came here at about 9am on a Thursday for a small breakfast and coffee, and was definitely impressed. The atmosphere is small but very cute. The small meeting spaces are modern and tucked away, and seem like a great idea for a small group of people to conduct a little business. I like the way one of them is designed behind a bookcase so they are able to maintain the privacy of their space without the interruption of patrons ordering their items. We ordered a breakfast burrito, steel cut oatmeal, tea, and cappuccino, and all were DELIGHTFUL! The oats were made with almond milk and were perfectly cooked and topped with freshly cut fruit. Breakfast burrito was also freshly made with wonderfully seasoned potatoes. Vary tasty. Tea and cappuccino were also awesome. We came during a non-peak time, so privacy and space was perfect for us to have a quiet and private conversation. My only challenge was that the service seemed… well, odd is the best word I can think of. When I ordered my oats and asked for the sugar and honey on the side, he said«how about no sugar and no honey…» Kinda weird response, so I went with a compromise of just the sugar on the side. He also didn’t seem friendly upon our arrival. However, he was friendly when we left and thanked us, so I’ll keep this rating as a four star as it’s surprisingly difficult to find a good, tasty, healthy, fast, clean and freshly made option for breakfast in the city. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Recommend the pulled pork tacos add avocado(I get them in lettuce cups). Very tasty and the pork is espresso rubbed. Didn’t love the chili but likely because I make my own pretty damn good chili… the veggies just didn’t seem fully cooked through in them and for $ 7 a cup it was pretty pricey not to be full of flavor. Bummer… Very cute place for a coffee date/work meet up.

My 2-star may be misleading. Let me explain. I get the idea, an eat-take a meeting place. But this space is too small. It means the tables are small and close together. Not a good place for a meeting or to have lunch with friends. But, the food is very good! Excellent for takeout. I recommend pork tacos and tomato soup. Friendly staff. Space: 1 star. Food: 3 or even 4 stars. It gets a 2 because the premise fails at this location.

For a $ 4.62 small latte, I expect them to use organic milk and not the same kind as my local lee’s deli :(

Coffee aside, the service here is horrible. The barista who served my friend was unfriendly and didn’t care to return my friend’s greeting. My friend asked for a pour over coffee and the barista replied with, «drip?» …no, a pour over… clearly, that was too much work for the barista. I also walked in with a cup from another shop — I understand this wasn’t the best etiquette, but we weren’t looking to stay. After my friend got his drip coffee(we didn’t want the pour over after that interaction), we peaked around the shop to check it out and the same barista followed us around to ensure we didn’t stay(again, I had another cup). It was an off-putting experience and they lost the opportunity to convert me to their shop. Coffee again may be great, but I’d rather interact with pleasant people.

This place is too cute, gotta love your small business. The Baristas and cashier are lovely to talk to. They are knowledgeable on their products. The cashier lady told me that they get their coffee beans from a local vendor in Emeryville. Which is rad. The coffee is off the chain amassing. I love it. It’s a bit pricey, a small almond milk latte is over 5 $ but whatever. It’s worth it. I did get food last time I was there. I got a brussel sprout salad which was okay. It was pretty small too, mostly for what it cost. But I choose not to get food from them anymore. I will however continue to get coffee from them if I’m ever in the area. Muy bueno! Get their coffee!!! The whole place is really cute and small. I almost walked right past it but I was on a hunt for some kind of food when I came across it so in that respect I’m glad I stumbled upon it. My dad even loves their coffee and he isn’t particular about coffee, that’s usually me. As I only drink almond milk. Anywho. Great coffee. Chill vibes.

What a great concept! It’s a café and co-working space. It’s small, but elegantly designed. The coffee is perfectly and expertly crafted, a great selection of teas, and their glassware and plates were really nice, surprising for a place like this. Anyhow, I’m eager to try more food items and spend a bit more time here.

Fora embodies the saying«good things come in small packages», and then some! A cute little nook on a busy FiDi corner. I’ve been in a few times and have always left happy. Service is so friendly and space provides a lovely environment for a quick coffee date or work time. Tip: just go for the nutella hot chocolate. It doesn’t get much better on a foggy SF day :)

A welcome addition to this part of downtown. I like their hot chocolate and that they have lunch items. Very cool place to meet people or work.

3.5 review. Service is really lovely! Beautiful little space with really friendly baristas and lots of options for drinks, tea and coffee alike. They opened quite recently and offer plenty of trendy, organic, food options for breakfast and lunch. I opted for my usual cold brew and it was a tad strong and bitter for my taste but still good. The barista kindly fixed some simple syrup up for me as there were only regular sugar options at their counter. Although their seating area is small they seem to encourage people working and meeting there, hence the name. For the name though, I do wish the space was bigger. Overall, great new option in the area that doesn’t seem to have too many good third-wave cafes.

I came here for a coffee break with my coworker today. She had two vouchers for a free 8oz brewed coffee(which was AWESOMEE). We both got the iced coffee and it was delishh! I wouldn’t say there’s anything special about it though. I’ll need to try one of their more complex drinks next time to be able to tell The space though! I can see why they named it the Fora Think Space. Although its small, the coffee shop is very suitable for a late afternoon work session. I think it’d be awesome to come here for small team meetings too(2 – 4 people). Definitely planning on checking it out again in the near future!

Came in during soft opening(not all the work space is open to public yet) and was pleased by the attentive service and excellent cold brewed coffee! Looking around I can see this will be popular once it’s fully open. As is, I spent 4 hours working there on my laptop and could see the space already has regular visitors despite being open only 5 weeks. Over and over I heard the owner greet folks warmly as he recognized them and even brought over their drink orders(without them ordering since the line was long). Functionally, there are power outlets everywhere and the tables are uncluttered.
