I have had too many bad experiences here. If you have any kind of dietary restriction, proceed with extreme caution… 1. Their card swipe on the POS system has double charged me and several of my coworkers. When I approached them for a refund they said they’d look into it. I never received a follow up or a refund and I had to find recourse via my bank. 2. I don’t eat eggs. I have ordered a side of potatoes and the hot grill worker cooked some eggs next to it. That would be fine except that they leaked into my potatoes and the worker haphazardly scooped up big gobs of egg into my to go container. Cross contamination. Not okay. 3. Today I ordered a veggie sandwich which was labelled as vegan. I was starving and wolfed down about 2⁄3 of it before I realized to my horror that it contained cheese. YOUCANNOTADVERTISESOMETHINGASVEGANIFITHASCHEESE. I approached the hot grill worker to point out the problem and his response was«I didn’t put that vegan label on the sign.» He walked away from me. It wasn’t until I asked for a refund that he finally pointed me to a manager. I have worked many years in food service. That is an unacceptable way to handle the situation. LEVI’S, YOUCOULDKILLSOMEONEWITHANALLERGY. I have seen time and again a complete lack of thought and concern for cross contamination and proper labelling for allergens and dietary restrictions. Get it together!

It’s cafeteria-style food. I ordered a Mexican bowl and it cost me about $ 9 which I guess isn’t too bad, but I would have liked the portion to be a little bit bigger. I was happy though that the server let me have both beef and vegetables as my main. The guacamole tasted a little too«lime-y» which was probably in attempts to preserve its color. I should also node that you have to be an Employee in the area to get in… But if you do come, come early to beat the lunch time rush!

Food is good. Service is super friendly. My only issue would be how crowded it gets and sometimes the lines move reeeeeeeally slow.

They recently changed the café at Levi’s Plaza, and I wish I could say it was for the better. Prices have increased quite a bit, but the food is no better(and in some cases worse). I had a bowl of salad, nothing fancy in it, and it was almost $ 9. $ 9!!! My coworker ordered a pepperoni flatbread pizza(that was small, maybe the size of a single slice of pizza), wasn’t that good at all, and cost her $ 9.95. Absolutely ridiculous. They updated the décor(pretty useless décor really), so we can see where our extra money is going! We won’t be coming back, and from the consensus in our office, neither will any of our coworkers.

Really good entrees at lunch, nicely prepared with a touch of creativity that keeps me coming back. Easy to eat healthy here. Not cheap, but convenient to nearby workers who have access(need a sticker for admittance). Really nice people working there that want you to enjoy their food. You can see their menu online and that helps me plan which days I go there for lunch.

(+) — wild rice chicken soup — cream of wheat(breakfast) — wraps Generally has a decent selection of foods at normal prices. I’ve tried a couple of the wraps which have all tasted good. Sandwich bar and a salad bar available. On of my favorites is the cream of wheat in the morning, it is soooo bomb, I wish I knew how they made it because I love the consistency. I always mix in a bunch of toppings and it tastes wonderful. Another favorite of mine is the wild rice chicken soup, only had it once and was always hoping to see it again but alas was not meant to be. Have tried a couple of their other soups which were quite satisfying as well. Breakfast cream of wheat is a must try!

The food here is always fresh and there is always something new to try everyday. Most of the food is sufficient enough, not great, or horrible. They do have their bad days though that just stops you from coming back for a few days. But you eventually come back because it’s so convenient and there is pretty much nowhere else to go in the area. Think of it as the school cafeteria. It is a hit or miss place. But what choice do you really have?

In this particular area of SF, there aren’t a huge amount of options nearby. This café has a lot of options available, such as a grill, salad bar and other ready-made items for you to choose from. The salad bar is pretty good, and does change up a bit day to day, and they have great soups from time to time(their chicken noodle and corn chowder are 2 of my favorites)! At the grill area, there are specials every day for a less extortionary price than other areas of Levi’s Café. I personally love ordering the grilled chicken sandwich off the grill menu: bun + grilled chicken + lettuce + tomato… nomnom It’s easy to get tired of the food if you come here too often, but it’s okay every once in a while. Their redemption lies in their breakfast, because their breakfast specials at the grill are usually about $ 5, and can be anything from chorizo scrambles to pancakes and eggs, plus a coffee or juice. Pretty good stuff. Also, if you arrive here after 12:15 or so, you’re gonna have a bad time. It gets crowded very quickly!

When it’s a nice day to walk in SF, this spot is always a go to. Right down the street from my work, convenient and just a really nice area. Park right across the street to just lounge and eat your lunch with a few friends and or co-workers. The mini mart/deli(sushi, pasta, sandwiches, etc.) it’s great! everything is made fresh. During lunch it’s pretty busy. But the make everything in a good amount of time.

They have their hits and misses, but it’s cheap for the area and quick to get in and out.

FYI, it’s hard to judge the café seating area at the moment since it’s under construction, but I was there a couple of weeks ago for lunch when all was well. I had soup and a sandwich and sat in the then-normal front seating area(by The Vault, the room with a plethora of vintage Levi’s jeans, posters, etc etc… anyone can go! It’s one of the more interesting places I have been to in a while) both good, it’s all inexpensive, and they have a decent little lunch selection going on. Sandwich and salad bar, healthy, cool new Levi’s pictures all over. It’s got a good vibe to it, just like the overall HQ.

Great vegetarian chili(with onions, cilantro, cheddar cheese, and crackers to boot), great sandwich bar, great salad bar… haven’t tried much else… Another cheap and healthy option for Levis or WSI employees!

It used to be better. It used to be cheaper. I miss the made-to-order salad bar they had before this current owner. They charge you for everything. 5 cents for crackers for your soup? I think they could eat that cost. Two different prices for soup and chili? The only thing good is that they take plastic now, but its just as expensive as going to Il Fornaio or RJs.

In two weeks of working around around the corner, I’ve gone to Levi’s quite a lot. It’s easy, fast(just not the grill), and very good for being a cafeteria. Food is creative, the sides are thought out, and I’ve never had anything overcooked. Price is decent for the amount of food you get.

I gotta give it to them – they really really really tried to take the concept of «cafeteria food» and make it something better. When you read off the menu, or see the specials of the day, its easy to be seduced into plunking down $ 9 for a plastic carton of way more food than you ever need to eat. Despite the gourmet cafeteria concept, Levi’s café falls short on many occasions. I found myself constantly having to add salt and pepper to pretty much anything I ate there. It cafeteria food, after all. They tried, and I respect that, but at the end of the day, it’s a bit overpriced. For Levis and Williams Sonoma employees, it is one of the few places closeby where you there is a large selection of items and hot foods. Get there early or the good stuff will be gone. You will also be waiting in line at the grill for a good 30 minutes of your lunch time. Keep in mind that even though you are on your lunch break, you are surrounded by work people. I only bring this up because at one such leisurely lunch outing, an unknown NARC was sitting within earshot as me and my colleagues complained about work stuff. It was a stupid thing to do, and lesson learned, but really, did the person who overheard this conversation really have to go and tattle tale? I mean, really? My advice: grab your lunch and go. If its a warm day, enjoy the nearby fountain – that way the sound of water will cover up any conversation that may be overheard…

Ahh I loved the cafeteria. It was a breath of fresh air from any other work locations prior. It was always full of these hot WASPy things trying to make their way up the ladder in the fashion world. I loved to watch them get their grilled chicken wrap — or just grilled chicken for their salads. And then a haagen daaz. How does that work? And then they’d sit there and say things like . «oh my god he called me last night?» «oh my god really?» «oh my god: scoff: yeah.» «oh my god what did you say?» «oh my god I was like … whatever. You totally had your chance» «oh my god I bet he felt so stupid» «oh my god like i could care. whatevs … are you gonna eat that?» Oh but I josh. I loved them and so desperately wanted to be in their conversations. But when you look like Ellen Degeneres WHOWANTSTOTALKTOYOU? Knock the cafeteria if you must — but until you go work at another major corporation w/a cafeteria that is the most disgusting place on earth, then you will appreciate what you have.

The cafeteria has gotten WAAAAY better now that they take plastic. Seriously though, the food here is quite decent. In fact, the Fella doesn’t mind driving me to work(so much) if I offer to spot him a breakfast sandwich fresh made from the Plaza Café. You can get one too, since it seems like they don’t check for IDs in the morning. Lots of their lunch dishes are pretty good too… sushi day is pretty neat, but would be even better if it was both a bargain and tasty.

You don’t have to be an employee of Levi’s to eat here. You could also be an employee of Williams-Sonoma. Why do I eat here? Because I didn’t bring my lunch and I’m too busy to actually go somewhere to eat. So I run in, show my badge, get my food, take it back to my desk and devour the dish while typing away. This doesn’t really happen too often, but when it does, I’m usually satisfied and not in too bad of a food comma. The cafeteria has a ton of choices which is why I like it. Choose from the salad bar, soup bar, sandwich bar, grill(think grilled cheese, fries, onion rings), pizzas and«specials of the day». The specials consist of different items that are usually pretty good: grilled paninis, specially themed salads, stir-fries and pastas. Everything is reasonably priced and you can be in and out in 10 minutes if you want to. I just added the fourth star because they serve fro yo. My fave. I just took it away because they are only open until 2pm and every time I realize I want fro yo — they’re closed.

What can I say about the Levi’s Cafeteria? Hmmm… Well, it’s a good deal but it’s nothing like the Gap Cafeteria! ;) And if you’ve been there — you’ll know what I am talking about.
