My husband and I came by for lunch(turned brunch for me) on a Monday early afternoon. They have a small patio that was perfect for the weather(some in sun, some not). I ordered the Country Benedict(a warm crispy baguette covered with scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, spinach, oven-dried tomatoes, hash browns and Hollandaise sauce) except I got poached eggs… Messy yes, Awesome more so! The tomato was more broiled not dried at all so that went to my husband… Not a fan of a FAT hunk of tomato when it is still raw inside. Didn’t take away from the dish without it. I’d love to see an oven dried tomato on this though… Maybe next time but my husband’s Pastrami Sandwich(the best pastrami in the Bay Area with jack cheese, special mayonnaise on Full Circle Bakery whole grain bread with fries) was ALLTHAT! Yum!!! Fat sandwich stuffed with pastrami. If there was cole slaw in there it was grilled? All I know was yum yum! Great brunch, will be back!

We will come back again. Perfect blend of traditional café with a CA fun menu. Pancakes were delicious. Country eggs Benedict had a stack of mushrooms, bacon, spinach, eggs, and hollandaise on a fresh baguette.

I had the biscuits and gravy me with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns, gravy is different from when I first had it. The gravy taste like maybe they are using caramelized onions and less pork sausage in the gravy. Still very good but just different. We went on a Monday it was still very busy, very happy people working there. Always two or three specials along with the special desserts and homemade.

I’m only in Santa Rosa for one day, but this little café has the charm to match the city itself. I got Gompa’s Samdwich(chicken, pesto mayo, bacon, tomato and a fried egg on toasted wheat) and it was so good. Service was friendly and very attentive. Perfect place for small parties(1 to 4 people) looking for breakfast/brunch/lunch.

International superstar Pee Wee(DJEUROBEAT) and top chef Johnny O(60 Minutes, has served royalty and movie stars, and featured in Bön Appetite Magazine) guest today for brunch. Service 5⁄5 Food 5⁄5 Atmosphere 2⁄5 Last week I had the house burger and fries and was somewhat disappointed and wanted to give Midtown another try. Today I took Johnny O there for brunch and he devoured the corn beef hash and eggs and really enjoyed the flavor. I had the salmon eggs Benedict(see pictures) everything was cooked perfectly. One of the best brunch days we’ve had in Santa Rosa. We were really looking forward to having some home made pie tonight at home but it was unavailable.(Next time) Will be coming back every week to try something new. #brunch

My fave place for Brunch in Santa Rosa! Vegetable hash, salmon hash poached egg salad, and omelettes are fantastic! Very busy spot so they try return the tables quickly. You get your order quickly too! Fresh ingredients and not a grease pit like many other breakfast spots. Something for everyone!

eaten here twice now, once for lunch and now for breakfast… disappointed both times. Had a burger… underdone, with an over-whelming English muffin for the bun… nothing to write home about and the fries were greasy and underdone. Breakfast: had the breakfast salad with poached eggs. Eggs were watery and flavorless… greens overwhelmed the eggs and the croutons were virtually non-existent and«roasted“potatoes were barely done. potatoes should not be chewy ! Just had water and even it tasted odd, musty and unpleasant. do not understand the fuss… just mediocre food.

Had breakfast for the first time at this place Thursday morning. My son ordered the huevos rancheros and I had the corned beef hash with eggs. Food was great. I did not try my sons huevos rancheros but he said it was very good. My corned beef hash and eggs some of the best I have ever had. Waitress was great. Only non positive comment? Hostess please smile.

Best breakfast in Santa Rosa, the food is always delicious. Some of my favorites: French toast, chicken fried steak, midtown sandwich, veggie stack and the veggie burger. The service is always amazing! It was 37 degrees outside while we were waiting for a table and they brought out coffee for everyone!

Went for breakfast on a weekend, a bit of a wait, but not bad. Had the country Benedict. A bit thrown together as compared to others I have had at the Mendo location. But still tasty. Service was just OK, lots of young kids on a weekend. Service much better during the week. Had a chicken sandwich there a couple of weeks ago and it was very good. Overall a pretty good place.

Again, this place is amazing. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy on the outside, their hollandaise is made fresh. The corned beef hash has quality pieces of meat. We haven’t got past the breakfast menu yet, but the pies look great. This place doesn’t disappoint.

My family came here for brunch on Easter Sunday. The location is kind of hidden but it’s right off 4th street. There isn’t a ton of parking but there is also street parking right near the resturant. We walked in and was told the wait was 15 – 20 min, however, we got seated with 10 minutes and was helped as soon as we sat down. Every seat was filled and the waitress was very nice. My mom got a coffee and the waitress was very knowledgable of the brand they served and that the brand was going to be opening up a local store. I shared the French toast and a side of hash browns with my mom and my boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs and hash browns. The portions were huge and my boyfriend couldn’t finish all his food. The French toast was very good and had a cinnamon buttery touch to it and was cooked just right. I will definitely be coming back!

Thank you for making my birthday breakfast so effin special! How hard is it to serve a single diner at the counter without clearing their place just because they had to go to the bathroom? I usually go to Dierks, and they DON’T do it there. Thank you for pointing out your lousy customer service skills, and coming from a server such as myself, I can guarantee that I know what to expect and what not to tolerate. WON’T BERETURNING.

Chow just like your mama or grandma would make if she was from the midwest or the American south. Why? Heaping big portions. Lots of carbs and starches. Lots of gravy. Is this a good thing? Oh yes, especially when you arrive famished. My duck hash weighed about 7 pounds. So much food that I left 4 tablespoons of hash brown potatoes on the plate when I threw down the napkin. I have never done that before. The english muffins are sourced from full circle bakery. Boy are they good, too. I likes ‘em better than those from Costeaux bakery. Basic diner style eating room. Not fancy. Crowded. Servers are friendly, fast and efficient. If the place is packed, they are overworked so at those times don’t expect them to smile while you dither over your order. Know what you want when the server comes to take your order & say it out loud! Bambie and I waddled out, filled to the gills with comfort food & coffee. Price = $ 33.
