Wonderful food, great service and friendly folks. Seating available at the counter, a table, booth or even outside next to the pool. Open for breakfast and lunch with an intriguing selection of standards and specials. Whether your order the basic«American» breakfast or one of the special dishes, you can not go wrong. One of my all time favorites.

Ohhh crowded but it worth waiting. Especially duck hush is so good. I cannot eat this other places. We came here after hot air balloon festival Saturday morning around 8. We had wait time about 35 mins. I ordered duck hush, my friends ordered ranch, cheese cake and biscuit w gravy source. She said biscuit was not good but other than biscuit was good. I love my order duck hush. Usually I cannot finish by myself but I did this time. Yummy yummy.

Sad and dissapointed about the cheese blintzes… Too small! They should be on the menu as a sude or a dessert. At least they could put more fruit, i only got 2 blueberries and 2 slices of strawberry

This place looked great on Unilocal so my wife and I decided to give it a try. We drove past it at first because we didn’t see the sign. Once we circled back and noticed it was attached to a small hotel we were kind of nervous about the quality. Let me tell you… we were blown away! Check out our veggie hash pics. Everything on the menu looked fresh and appetizing. This is no diner. We had an amazing breakfast and the host/wait staff were friendly and timely. There were vegetarian options for meat which we appreciated. Def worth the stop for breakfast. The only reason we didn’t give it a full 5 is because it didn’t have a full bar but other than that this place was bomb!

Well composed and well seasoned breakfast/Lunch can be hard to come by sometimes; this place nailed it. All the staff was very friendly as well. Top notch!

Foods ok. I think they should invest in a punch code for their bathrooms. Bringing a restroom key back and forth with people all day is not sanitary.

Excellent food at this café. My step mom said the coffee was some of the best she’s ever had and my hot chocolate tasted homemade. Loved it! Our breakfast was also fantastic. I enjoyed an omelette with avocado and swiss. I’ll definitely be back!

This place was super cute! We went on Easter Sunday and were seated within 20 minutes which was awesome. I got the Eggs Benedict, which I almost always order at brunch; the champagne hollandaise is very good! Unfortunately the poached eggs weren’t as runny as I prefer, but that may have been a function of how busy they were due to the holiday. Service was good, all food was good quality, some good unique options like corned duck hash. The toast was meh but the buttermilk biscuits are super tasty! Definitely a solid breakfast option.

Came here after hearing they had some amazing chicken fried steak. Wife and I were surprised we had never heard of/seen Jeffrey’s before, it is tucked away in a cozy corner of a small motel near the Flamingo Hotel. Food was really good. It was a good chicken fried steak, but not the best I have had. For my wife and I, we will probably still go to Parkside since it is closer for us, but we will definitely be back to Jeffrey’s.

We went to Jeffrey’s Hillside Café on a Monday morning at about 10:45 we were told there would be a 25 minute wait but we ended up only waiting about 15 minutes. I ordered a hot chocolate and the biscuits and gravy. The hot chocolate was HUGE and delicious and my biscuits and gravy was also very good! I’m picky about biscuits so to me that says a lot. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito with chorizo and he was very happy with it, the burrito was huge too! The lady that seated us was very sweet, but it took us a while to have someone come up to us. The price was a little high, specifically the beverages, but not too excessive. Overall my boyfriend and I were very happy with our meal. If we are ever back in Santa Rosa I’m sure we will come again!

Wanted to try this restaurant. It definitely gets a crowd we had breakfast my niece had a fruit smoothie of strawberry it was alright iam not sure cause the strawberries aren’t in season the smoothie was a bit sour or they use ice to blend it so it didn’t have a sweet flavor to it. We had the French Toast which they do it very different. They have great fresh biscuit and gravy. Hashbrown are also a must. The waitress was very attentive with us and it seemed the other waiters were attending there tables as well. Great customer service. My Mocha could of been a bit stronger. The menu was a lil bit of everything.

My friend and I went for Saturday morning breakfast before driving out to SF. Portions are huuuuuuuuuge. We were seated instantly, and this place is pretty out of the way, but I loved the small, homey vibe. Kind of nostalgic :) We split a duck hash and still felt stuffed. The server was a smart woman! She automatically split our food into two separate bowls when she gave it to us. Duck hash: So good! Not too salty and very flavorful, perfect with a poached egg. The biscuit that came with the hash stole my heart though. I love a good, buttery soft biscuit. If I could, I’d just buy a ton of those biscuits and keep them so I could have one everyday… or just eat all of them in one sitting. Another note: I left my credit card there, which made me flip out once I got down to Pleasanton because I was going to be in Pleasanton for about 10 days. I called them right away, and they told me they’d hold on to it for me… I got back 10 days later, and it took them 10 seconds to give it to me with no problems at all, so THANKYOUSOMUCH!!!

I recently came here on a whim. I was searching for a new breakfast spot I haven’t tried in Sonoma County. My search lead me here to Jeffery’s HIllside Café. And ohh my goodness was I impressed!!! I arrived on a Sunday morning and the place was packed. people were also waiting outside in the rain. We decided to put my name down. And we only had to wait 15 minutes. But it was a peaceful 15 minutes since I was able to listen to the rain. Rain is something us California folk don’t get to hear all that often. We were finally seated. And we sat up at the counter in the front on those cool swivel chairs. The«specials» board had tons of inviting dishes on them. And i was«in awe» with their menu. And because I was not able to make up my mind, I ended up ordering 2 dishes. Because that is how I roll. I am a sucker for Fish Tacos. And that was on the specials board. I couldn’t resist and had to order them. I also ordered Huevos Rancheros too. Frankly because I couldn’t pick one or the other. The fish tacos WERENOT disappointing. And I enjoyed them better than the Huevos Rancheros. I already know what I am going to go back and order. And I can’t hardly wait to return.

We went here for a late«brunch» around 1:30 – not too long before they close at 2, but the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. It was pretty busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. My husband and I ordered two plates and split them so we could sample more of the menu. We liked the Tex Mex Scramble and the Veggie Sandwich. They were accommodating of my request to replace the normal sausage in the Tex Mex Scramble with veggie sausage. The ingredients all seemed fresh and high quality. My only complaint is that they don’t allow dogs on the outside patio(despite a change in the local law that now makes this legal) but I’m biased since I want to take my fur baby with us everywhere. :) The location can be a bit challenging to get to if you are coming from the wrong direction on highway 12.

Five stars! Went in at 12:30 on a Saturday and was seated immediately. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I never would have known about this place save for Unilocal, and I only live 5 minutes away! Service was friendly and attentive and they brought us out drinks(water and coffee) very quickly, and topped off the coffee frequently. I ordered the duck hash, and boy, I’m glad I did. What an amazing combination of flavor. The first bite I took was of the potato, which had obviously cooked a bit in the duck fat because it tasted AMAZING. As others have noted, the portion of duck is good if not generous. The pear was an interesting touch, though it felt to me a bit contrived as it was likely canned fruit. Nice taste profile, though. My lunch date got the sticky bun french toast, which is exactly what she’d been craving. I tried it at the end as a sort of dessert and it was awesome, just not the savory dish I came for. In the end, the prices are great, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious! We are regulars at John Ash for their(in)famous happy hour, and the quality of the food there totally translates over to Jeffrey’s as I understand he was the former chef of John Ash. We’ll definitely be going back!

Another great Unilocal find! Such a random spot though. When we drove up we actually considered turning around and going somewhere else. I am so glad we didn’t. It was the best breakfast we had in California. I had the Brussels Spouts Hash. It was absolutely fantastic… potatoes, brussels sprouts, bell peppers and 2 eggs. My boyfriend ordered the Sticky Bun French Toast with bacon. His food was super sweet and perfectly fluffy. Our food was so good. Just thinking about it now it is making me hungry. Oh and their lattes were perfect.

–Scrambled eggs were great. –Cheese blitzes were not to our palette so we probably won’t be ordering that dish here again… but so what! Not everything in life is perfection. –Bacon…excellent! –Eggs Benedict –had soggy bread that didn’t seem toasted. Making it kind of *meh* when it could have been awesome. What this place does deliver is consistently good and sometimes great dishes. The plating is above par for this area. I would highly recommend this for breakfast/brunch.

This is Sonoma County’s hide away breakfast restaurant that everyone seems to know about. It’s a popular breakfast hangout place. It was crowded and loud. Parking was completely filled up. Expect to wait for a seat on all days. The food taste fresh. The poached eggs with hash corn beef was good. The prices are not your Carrow’s or Bakers Square breakfast prices so don’t be alarmed. The dishes are a good size. They have a variety breakfast meals that I would love to try. They all look delicious. I was disappointed that they didn’t have a selection of bagels and spread that comes with their lox. Unfortunately they only have white flour bagels only no wheat or gluten free. If you enjoy a good breakfast this place may be for you. Enjoy

I haven’t had an eggs benedict in several weeks, so that was my primary motivation in coming to Jeffrey’s. Sake bloody mary: pretty good, but sake has that ricey empty taste that isn’t super fulfilling. Still a good mix, though. My man’s sticky bun french toast: super rich, super delicious, and pretty soggy. In a good way. Don’t put maple syrup on it, you’ll get diabetus. My benedict: perfectly toasted muffin, rather small egg, excellent champagne hollandaise, and fresh REAL ham steak. Everything on the menu looked outstanding and I would very much like to come back.
