I just tried Superburger for the first time and WOW — they have great burgers! The prices are a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for. The meat they use in their hamburgers is grass fed and sourced locally(except for the lamb). I got the lamb burger with cheese and onion rings. The lamb was so tender and juicy and was very good quality. The basket of onion rings(regular size) was enormous, and came with their awesome bbq sauce which I also spread on my lamb burger :-) The service was also great, and they constantly made sure your beverage was filled and that you had everything you needed. The seating is kind of like bar seating but lower to the ground. Great burgers and service. I will definitely be back!

Although Santa Rosa is a ways for us to drive we have been known to «be in the neighborhood» so we could go to Superburger. The biggest draw for me is the banana malt and the great tater tots. I find the burger prices a bit steep for my tastes, but nonetheless a good solid eat. We discovered the Penngrove Superburger only to hear it had fire damage and closed. Hope to get to the reopened Penngrove SB soon.

Hands down best burgers in town if not Sonoma County. I love the Reuben Burger. It’s the kind of burger you can’t put down without the fear of disintegration. Almost always packed. Love the old school burger joint vibe. My dad used to take me there and now I take my kids.

on the way back to Berkeley with Joe son on Sunday 1÷17÷16; pouring rain… were going to get the amazing $ 11 ½ lb. prime burger with fries at Starks. WTH! closed for lunch on weekends! damn! Joe Unilocaled up this spot… A great surprise! old diner style joint. oval bar seating for maybe 15.¾ full. had the standard cheeseburger, Joe the grass fed(+$ 2) bacon cheddar bacon onion ring monster both great as well as a huge order of rings and fries. the rings fine(pale in comparison to those at Kronnerbuger) the fries though, maybe the best we’ve ever had… lots of condiments on the counter to customize one’s meal… what a find! great staff

Absolutely one of the better burger joints in the area! Always grab a Mcdonald Burger, but tonight went with a Spring street burger. The burger itself was pretty spectacular, but it’s hard for me to really vere from my norm, but I was impressed none the less. The mixture of pesto, jack cheese, and bacon on the Spring Street Burger really helped me get through a long day at work! I also grabbed a side of tots, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned very well, which is great since I usually always ask for fries. I will also mention that the shakes here are great(Darn you New Years resolution)! I feel like one of those reviewers who always mentions that nothing on the menu that is bad, but sadly I have to agree this time with the mass. Too many times I have come and found myself very satisfied and nothing to complain about. Not only is the food great, but the attentive waiters/waitresses always make it a much more comfortable atmosphere. As for prices, I find them to be completely satisfactory for the area, especially only being blocks away from downtown Santa Rosa.

Having FINALLY been here I get the hype but I just feel like it’s overpriced for what it is. I’ve eaten a lot of burgers(from gourmet fancy $ 20 burgers in SF to good old In-n-Out burgers) and I can say that this is one of the better ones I have had but I don’t think the whole experience lived up to my expectations and I was disappointed with the seating even with the cool retro vibe. My husband is 6’4″ and I’m 5’10″ and the bar stools were super uncomfortable for long legged people. We could have sat outside but it was really cold. The milkshake tasted like vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup blended in. I’ve had a better tin chocolate milkshake at a local diner. It drives me crazy when people make«chocolate milkshakes» this way. I don’t want to taste Hershey’s syrup, I want to taste real chocolate ice cream in my milkshake. Fries: They were good, I noticed they came frozen out of a bag. A little disappointed they didn’t make them fresh. The BBQ sauce was VERY good, I think it’s homemade. My burger was very well made, perfect amount of pinkness and the buns(which appear to be freshly made to order from a bakery) were perfect. The meat is seasoned well and the burger doesn’t make you feel bloated or gross afterwards. I don’t think we will be coming back, I can think of at least 2 places in Sonoma County with better burgers and more value for better quality(Think Neiman Ranch beef and fresh fries) If we do come back it will probably be just for burgers to go because this place does make good burgers.

Milkshakes: 5 stars Fabulous assortment of flavors. I want to try other flavors but I keep going for the butterscotch. You can mix in any combination of flavors. They’re more like ice cream slushes, as in more thick and less milky. Other places charge more for thick shakes so I’ve never tried it until we came here and I realized they are not only tough to drink through a straw, but that they’re also a fabulous value. Never leave without getting at least a milkshake to go! Montecito Avenue Burger was great. Didn’t realize there was an option of a smaller version of any fancy burger. That would have helped a lot! Potato tots were loveable. Sweet potato fries were average. I concur with the recognition and awards this place gets!

My sister and I had finished going wine tasting and we were hOngry! We were both craving burgers and this place popped up to close to where we were. Its a quaint retro place with some lovely outdoor seating and bar seating inside. I had a bacon burger with onion ring and a banana shake. The shake was huge! so I got to take most of it Home :) The onion rings were crispy and huge as well. As or the burger, it hit the spot, it had a good flavor and I like the fact that it wasn’t all put together. I had asked if they could give me grilled onions but since they slotted grill they couldn’t offer it :( The folk running the joint forgot my bacon, but they fixed their mistake quickly which made me happy. I was pretty full when I was done. The staff were pretty busy, which is understandable so we were left waiting for a lil bit after we finished. They did give us those most towelettes, which was a plus in my eyes. Alas the burger was good, but I still on the quest to find my one true burger love, but this place is worth another visit.

This place was great. The burger was great, the service was great. My only complaints are as follows: Small space– Would love to see them with a bigger restaurant Parking– Its kinda crazy when they are busy. Service was great! Cant wait to go again. But next time ill split my burger. It was so good but a regular size is a pretty good portion. Couldn’t finish. My tummy is growling just thinking about it… AHHHHHHHHH…

Great frys, burgers, coleslaw and shakes. However the chile is sweet like they add sugar to it, not good. Also I wanted cheeses on the side to make chile cheese frys at home and didn’t get it.

Food = good. Service = ok. They’re a busy place, and even with multiple waitstaff, just kind of ignored us even though we were sitting right at the counter. The burger was flavorful, the bread nice and firm, the BBQ sauce added a nice touch of sauce. The food came out in a decent amount of time. We also ordered onion rings and milkshakes, but we got full, fast. They serve the shakes in the metal cups, with a spoon and straw, and there was enough in the cup for two full milkshake servings. I’d go back, but I would like to see better service. Better service would get them a 4 star rating from me.

A MUSTTRY!!! This wonderful place has a great selection of delicious food. They have local grass fed beef opinions. Which is always a plus in my book! And their homemade milkshakes are TODIEFOR!!! everytime I go, my husband and I have to get the Chili cheese fries. Their chili is homemade as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. All in all a great dive!

This place is awesome! You walk in and sit at the bar, which is great if you are eating alone but don’t want to feel like you’re eating alone. The burgers are delicious! The staff is very friendly and appreciative of your business. You will leave feeling very full ! The only downside is that it is quite small. It can go from dead to slammed very quickly. If you are going with a big group, you will want to sit outside.

When my belly is begging for ground beef on a bun I ask myself one question… UM-AM-I willing to drive to the city and shell out $ 12+ for a mediocre burger? The answer is a resounding NO! I’d MUCH rather get a truly SUPERBURGER!(And the name doesn’t even do them justice!) Try my favorite, the McDonald Avenue– for the most ah-may-zing«gartichoke» sauce.(Town and Country your burger for a slightly smaller, lower cost option that leaves room for fries or tots.) Or go for the Spring Street, Lahaina or chili burger… You honestly can’t go wrong! #fatgirlsnax approved!

I remember I used to fangirl over Superburger to the point of hissing at anyone who suggested there was a better burger joint in Santa Rosa, but alas — times have changed. The grass-fed beef used to always be a beautiful pink, the cheese melted, the bun toasted, the waitresses cheery and attentive. All these things were what put the«Super» in Superburger. It took me four last visits before I decided I would never waste my money on such mediocrity again. Firstly, I actually felt like an inconvenience because of how neglected I was by the server assigned to me. Secondly, I asked for a little bit of pink and got a burned hockey puck instead. The garlic spread on the burger was colder than the dark side of the moon, the buns also untoasted and cold, and the meat was overworked and very chewy(also cold of course). This quality was consistent in my last few visits, and seriously broke my heart. I will remember you, as you were, when we were young and happy. I can’t just chalk it up to a bad day anymore when I tried so hard to make it work again the last few times… Goodbye, Superburger.

We had eaten here more then a few times. This last time was just«blah». My daughter and I ordered: *Kids hotdog with fries *Cheese burger with bacon(Medium Rare) *2 sodas 1. My child, like any other child, is clumsy. Logically, when you give any child a drink it should have a lid. Neither of our sodas came with a lid. When asked for a lid one of the young girls handed it over and left. It was the wrong lid so we had to ask for another. She seemed pretty annoyed. 2. My daughter said her hot dog tasted funny and didn’t like the hamburger bun being used for a hot dog. She only took 3 bites and said no. 3. My medium rare burger was rare and still mooing. I choked down about 4 bites and that was all I could handle. We paid and left our meals barely touched. We have enjoyed having our Mommy/daughter meals here before but not this time. The milk shakes are pretty good tho.

Really good bacon cheeseburger! Onion ring and fries combo was tasty and shared by the three of us. Chili cheeseburger was good as well. Service was excellent and they gave us peppercinis and jalapeños to add to our burgers! Sadly we did not order a classic milkshake which are fabulous! Next time. So the food was tasty and the company great! Nice Presidents’ Day! One thing to note, is that if you have ADA issues, the restroom may take some assistance. Totally clean but tiny!

…found that good ol’ well done burger. Ordered the half fries, half onion rings. //Luckily it wasn’t extremely busy(no wait) so maybe that’s why we were served super fast. Still yet to try the shake. Can’t wait to come again!

I have driven past this restaurant several times but never stopped. My boyfriend and I decided to try it on a Saturday for lunch. It was pretty busy but we got a seat right away(location is small). I ordered the grilled chicken and cheese sandwich with bbq sauce and my boyfriend got a bacon cheese burger and the half and half of the onion rings and fries. The portions were big and we couldn’t finish the fries/onion rings. My chicken sandwich was tastey and the onion rings were very good. The fries were a little too done for me and tasted dry but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. We noticed a lot of people were ordering milk shakes but we were too full to get one so the next day we came back and my boyfriend got a chocolate milk shake –definitely worth it! Good atmosphere and they even have a map of where people came around the world to visit! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Santa Rosa!

Superburger is simple, consistent, and damn good. I drop by here a few times a year and have a small classic burger and the best onion rings in the city. Small tables outside and a dozen seats around a counter inside. When I went yesterday they had the option of wild boar and grass fed beef. Getting high class on us…
