Canyon Hideout Café is now making smoothies… and they are delicious! Every week I just ask them to make me one of their choice! Always good! Tell them you know Bobby and they will give you a discount! Check out their record collection they are selling to buy instruments for local kids!

The coffee, the atmosphere, the gallery — all great. And one of the owners, Dan, is great to talk to — always happily showing a piece of art or jewelry that he is confident will work for you. Or just as happy to make a coffee and chat. We walked Canyon Road twice in our five-day trip, and we spent nearly an hour each time. Definitely pop in, grab a coffee, and check out the art.

I thought this was the BEST coffee I have ever had. And I am a coffee snob! Also very reasonably priced. I would really recommend this place for their coffee!!!

OK, the Canyon Hideout Café may have great coffee, but they also have some awesome tasting smoothies and juice blends. AND they also have a rack of used vinyl records that they’re selling for a music charity. I picked up a flawless pressing of «Music from the Great Movie Thrillers: Music composed by Bernard Herrmann for Motion Pictures Directed by Alfred Hitchcock» there yesterday.

Best coffee beans in town. Most other beverages are sans high fructose corn syrup, and the chocolate bars are wonderful, too. Always good music playing and a lovely backyard set this place apart.

The Canyon Hideout Café could possibly have the best cup of coffee in town. The specialty is a gourmet single drip cup of coffee served with two cookies, milk and sugar. The space is cozy with an outdoor patio. You enter through a jewelry store called Mirador, once inside the café you’ll hear good music and meet the friendly staff. It’s located on Canyon road which is a famous art-walk street. I highly suggest visiting. They also serve teas, lemonade, muffins, croissants and raw chocolate.
