Bought a fantastic painting here. Daniel the curator is truly a romantic with a certain perspective of modern history. His fingers cleverly placed on the pulse of the contemporary period. Walking the halls quoting Edwin Grosvenor, «More than most periods of like duration, it is the direct consummation of the years immediately preceding. It differs from them as the harvest differs from the seed-​time.» Mirador Gallery would even make Julian Spalding and Donald Kuspit glow with a affection.

This place may have good art and great coffee, but if you’re an artist with work there, expect a long and drawn out struggle to try to get paid for your work – if you ever do. I’ve been trying to get what is owed to me for 2 years!!!
