Owner stopped by our table twice. Over 150 hot and cold teas. Wonderful food beautifully plated. Lovely outdoor seating at the top of the Canyon Road Arts District. Well worth the walk up the hill!

New ownership, the guy is an ass and that is too nice for him, his tall, dark haired employee /girlfriend, whatever she is was very rude and they don’t care about the locals, you would think for a «Tea House«that they could put a spearmnt Iced tea together for you, I asked the barista if they had a spearmint iced tea and he said no, but that they could make some and asked me if I wanted black tea, green tea or herbal, so I said black that’s what I ordered and they brought me peppermint tea, told my waitress that that was not what I ordered… The dark haired lady comes to the table and was just so rude that I could not believe it. She then said that they did not have what I wanted. I had ordered Mac and cheese for my baby grandson because it was past his lunch time and he was hungry, I would have left right away if it hadn’t been for that. I then had the pleasure of meeting the owner… no pleasure at all !! I would not recommend the Tea House at all because of the bad feeling they give as if you are a bother to them, also they have one unisex bathroom for the whole place, and there is no air conditioning inside. You would think for the prices they charge that they would put A.C. The ownership must have changed because I had been there a couple of times before and had liked it as long as I was outside in the shade. They may cater to tourists but as a local, was treated badly, I guess they don’t care because they figure they will always get business because of the location and tourism. Sad :(there are much nicer places to go in Santa Fe like the Chocolate Maven, they have to die for pastries and a high tea time and are always very gracious, they also have a wide variety of gluten fee items !! Peace. Had to press on a star otherwise wouldn’t have.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food is excellent with a very creative menu. Lavender lemonade was perfect. They specialize in teas so we wondered about their dinner menu, but they had lots to choose from and everything was great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they served our appetizer with our dinner. I hate that. Bring our appetizer, let us relax and enjoy it, then bring out dinner to relax and enjoy. Otherwise, this place is excellent. I would’ve given 4.9 stars if I could. It was close to perfect but not quite.

This is absolutely the best place to eat or drink in Santa Fe. Also, if you like tea there are over 150 options.

Spent 5 hours drinking and eating with friends. Staff was friendly and wonderful, food was amazing, and atmosphere is perfect. Highly recommend spending time on the patio.

This place is perfect, but they really need a host/floor manager. The food, drinks, service, staff, menu, location, ambiance… all awesome, which is why it’s always crowded. It’s also in a beautiful building, which is historic, so there will be no changes to the structure. The only thing missing is someone who can manage the seatings.

It’s so hard to find a good tea shop, let alone an excellent one… And The Teahouse meets and exceeds my VERY high expectations of an superb tea shop. First off, their hot and cold tea selections are stupendous! Something like 200+ to choose from… Seriously! I selected the Zhen Qu Chinese black tea, which was just as it was labeled«rich and sweet-ish,» and with(almost) unlimited refills. And bc the day was so hot, I got the Apricot black tea iced(to-go)… So refreshing and wonderful! The staff was gracious and friendly, and(mostly) on the ball. Their knowledge of teas was extraordinary, and they take brewing each cup as a source of serious pride The baguette and Brie(which was a total luxury for me), was divine in its perfectness. A true French baguette that was soft on the inside and crispy on outside. The Brie was creamy w/out punching you in the face. The inside is quaint, with the shady outside being delightfully cool on a hot day The ONLY suck is no wifi *BOOOO*. For a long-distance traveler like myself, coffee/tea shops are my one place I allow myself to get caught up and get work done. **Please bring back the wifi!** I WILL most definitely be back!

Excellent service with water cheerfully delivered to your table upon arriving by a very polite Auggie. Our waitress was amazing with her suggestions, humor and knowledge. She is Viva and the manager. The food was very tastie and the combination of flavors… ooo-laa-laa!!! I recommend the cauliflower with currents and pine nuts and the Proseco.

They need to update their online info bc they no longer offer wifi. My waitress said«he cut it off recently bc we got too busy.» Ok… I ordered a ginger something matcha latte and it was barely warm, although delicious. I was impressed by their huge menu and very good panini that I ordered. If I go back I would try one of their amazing looking bakery items and make sure my drink is hot.

I had been here before for tea only and I had a totally nice time. Since then I’ve heard good things about their food, so I went today for lunch. After we sat down the waitress said it was an hour wait for food(!), so we decided to just get drinks and a scone. Our drinks came promptly(and were tasty), but we finished them before our scone had even arrived(about fifteen minutes). We asked for the check and our waitress apologized but didn’t make up for it in any way. What a disappointment! Maybe weekdays are better, but it doesn’t seem like they’re set up to handle a busy weekend rush.

Stopped for tea and ended up staying for dinner. Everything was excellent. We had the butternut squash and beef slow cooked w/polenta, which was amazing. The beef was tender and flavorful, and tasted great with the polenta. We also had the cheese and charcuterie plate(recommend the bleu cheese) and a chicken pot pie which was also fantastic. The sweet matcha latte was great, and the date fig and sesame black tea latte was so good we had to buy some of the tea. The waitress did an excellent job and the atmosphere is great. Awesome tiramisu as well.

I only tried the food but not the tea and it was very good, fresh and healthy. I recommend this place for the quality of the ingredients and also the very nice service. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. A very good spot to have a tea or a lunch.

Super cute place. I had their Iced Maple Green Tea and loved it. They really love the art of tea and it shows. Adorable outdoor seating area makes it the perfect spot to sit and catch up with friends… or you can grab your tea to go and walk around the art galleries/stores that are in the lot.

Let me start by saying I would like to give this place a second chance. I’m giving two stars for unbelievably slow and rather dry service. The younger gals working there aren’t very social– no greetings whatsoever. They fill your water cup and leave. One of the older waitresses there was absolutely delightful, and she basically made up for the bad service. She even brought us a small plate of cookies to make up for the poor service. Aside from poor service my food was very tasty. The matcha(which I have never had) was very tasty.

If you visit Santa Fe, plan on going to the Teahouse for one of your lunches/breakfasts. Located at the end of Canyon road, the Teahouse makes for the perfect stop either before or after you go gallery exploring(another must of Santa Fe). The tea/coffee selection is extensive. They have chai, matcha, lattes, anything you can name. I had the Seattle Fog, and it was delicious – rich in flavor with the right hint of vanilla and hazelnut. Their sandwiches are great also. I ordered the prosciutto Panini with arugula. Their ingredients were fresh and flavorful… truly a gourmet sandwich. The bread selection topped it off. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. They have a bricked patio that is sheltered from the street that makes for a perfect hangout while sipping your tea and discussing art. Unlike several of the other reviews, I did not have an issue with the service. Our waitress was kind and friendly and brought everything out in a reasonable amount of time.

Cool spot & a needed stop in that location. I had one of the wellness teas with ginger and it was a good smooth blend. My husband had the Santa Fe black tea and said it was good. We got the gingerbread with whipped cream and lemon curd — perfect flavorful treat(I was skeptical about the lemon, but it made it!) Looking forward to going back for lunch!

If you love Tea, come here. Over 180 varieties. Curious, but the chocolate Chai latte which is delicious is all powder, no steeping? How do you make a chai tea with no steeping? Huh? It’s «instant», but a «high quality» instant tea. I was not impressed with my breakfast burrito. It was mostly potatoes with undercooked bacon(even tho I specifically asked for CRISPYBACON. The owner is actually a really nice guy, a Boston transplant 15 years ago. Attention: the oatmeal is purple! Free parking with 8 spaces and over flow paid parking lot next store. Come for the tea, and stay to walk around canyon road.
