I liked the Panera Bread in Cupertino and was very happy when this one in Santa Clara opened … but the experience here is far from satisfactory — «miss» mostly with missing ingredients. Today was the worst — I’ve been getting the Mediterranean Quinoa salad and today my husband picked up one for me. The salad had no chicken in it and fill up half of their take out paper box. Since it had happened before with chicken missing and little of other ingredients, I just thought«Here we go again»! I decided to take it back and asked for the manager. Well, surprise ! He said Panera has taken the chicken out of this particular salad, while price remains the same. If I wanted chicken, I would have to add $ 2. The other salads like Thai Chicken, BBQ Chicken salads, etc. all still come with chicken at the same price. I took it home and laid out my salad — a total of 5 ½ thin slices of cucumber, 8 olives, the little bit of quinoa stuck to the lettuce is hard/dry, half of the romaine lettuce is made up of white stems, and prickly mature kale leaves mixed with some woody stems. This salad costs $ 8.49… No more Panera for me…

Great location. the online ordering is simple and accurate. We always get our food on time. We like panera, especially the pick two. this is my favorite sandwich place.

I have now been to this location 5 times. The order has NEVER been correct. The last time I was there I forgot to check the order and someone ran out after me with a sandwich since it wasn’t complete which was nice but then it was still missing pastry. Service is hit or miss as well. I do not have these issues at other locations.

Horrible service! Lady behind the counter was out right rude. She kept getting confused with the order and couldn’t seem to explain anything properly. Food was terrible. The flatbread turkey was not edible! Tomato soup was average.

Wack. Ordered bread bowl with soup to-go. Soup bowl wasn’t even half full of soup. I’m still super hungry. Thanks guys. Oh, and was told by the clerk that the only sour dough bread they carried was«sliced bread». Pretty sure that’s not true, but if it was it would be pretty laughable for a «bakery». Employees were friendly but not very knowledgable. And had to wait in hella long line for my pone order(no separate lines for phone orders, really?) Keep it up guys, you’re really earning those 2 stars.

Decent food at decent prices, but I had told the cashier I wanted to use my Panera reward, and she seemed like she understood but when I looked at my receipt, she did not use it. I had to wait around for a manager to give me my refund. I also used the restroom here while waiting for my food, and it was disgusting and smelled horrible. The establishment is very small compared to other Panera’s.

I was disappointed because they don’t have much selection comparing to other places. Only sandwiches. I was hoping to have more satisfying breakfast. Their service is nice and friendly. The place is new and clean, I have to give them credit for that.

my greek salad didnt have any cucumbers, and the dressing was strange for a greek salad… i was pretty disappointed that i had spent $ 7+ on it(w/out chicken…) they also spelled my name in the funniest way i’ve ever seen — Hauly… lol

My bible study group meets at this location on Tuesday nights. There is plenty of space. It seems like a popular spot for groups to meet. I had a grilled cheese sandwich the other night that hit the spot. I was disappointed that they don’t offer hazelnut syrup for coffee and ended up trying their Pumpkin Spice latte. It was really good but really really sweet(and happen to like my coffee on the sweet side). The caramel flavor stood out more than the pumpkin flavor did. Quick service and friendly staff. No complaints so far.

This Panera is a bit hit or miss; it’s one of the smaller locations, and parking here during lunch time is a battle. Once you enter the storefront you’ll be right in line to make your order, and then you’ll move on to the room in the back once your order is complete. I typically come here just to use the Rapid Pick-Up, which I highly recommend because you skip the line and order online instead; your order will be waiting for you in the back room where all of the tables and chairs are. As far as the food goes, I think all Panera’s basically have the same quality of food. However, there have been a few times now where I’ll make an order, and they’ll tell me they don’t have a certain ingredient that day. Just yesterday they didn’t have cucumbers for my order… CUCUMBERS! I find it odd that a restaurant can run out of such a basic ingredient before the lunch rush even hits. At least the staff here is very attentive and friendly, so they help average out the rating to an A-OK.

I am still waiting for order at your table. Hoping this store will implement the quick order from the table option. It will work well for expediting the lunch rush.

The inside of panera bread is nicer than you think. You walk in, order, and they bring out the food right to your table! I thought that was neat. I never really took the time to actually come to eat at panera but I have ordered it from doordash before. I’d say, come here to eat rather than order if you live close by. When I ordered it on doordash, it’s cold and it’s alright. I usually order the smoke turkey panini sandwich and it’s alright(from DD). Usually my lazy meal when I order in. Their strawberry smoothies are really good! When I actually came inside the restaurant, I decided to order something different and got the BBQ chicken flatbread and it’s super tasty and think I found my new favorite item on the menu!

Bread was good, but the panini has nothing to do with how it is suppose to be done, the bread was Miochi because the meat was too wet, and the onion not cooked enough … Urkkkkkks … For a bread specialist, It is pathetic, I am French, I know how baguette sandwich is suppose to be, and it is not like this ! aVOID! Urkkks The cheese was not melted, the meat was cold and watery

It’s a Panera. There’s not much to differentiate it from any other. The employees were pleasant and friendly, and our food came out relatively quickly. Everything was tasty and assembled neatly… not just thrown together. The souffles are pretty good, though a bit smallish. We also enjoyed the turkey sausage/egg white/spinach breakfast sandwich. Sandwiches and salads are solid… not mindblowing in any way but they’ll do ya’. Great place for a quick casual bite!

5 stars for the chocolate chip bagel. 3 stars for the rest of the food. 4 stars service. I’ve always had an affinity for cc bagels. I order them everywhere but I wasn’t addicted until I started ordering them here. If # of cc quantifies how great the bagel is, then Panera’s cc bagel is easily 3x better than anywhere else. Panera’s reward program is decent. A pastry here, $ 2 off there. I just finished my month of free coffee and that’s how I discovered their breakfast. I shall come back more often. Their marketing worked! :| All I can say about the lunch/dinner items is that I wish they were more vegetarian friendly. How can every salad come with meat? Yes, I can ask for no meat, but they can also forget and give me generous portions for tasty chicken breast. :| Final notes — This Panera is smaller than most — Tables may not always be clean but staff is always super friendly — The husband’s drug of choice is the cinnamon roll

Man it’s been hot lately. Needing beverages for the road i remembered Panera has a slew of different iced teas. A large here is no joke. It’s like a liter of liquid. Perfect for a scorching sunny day though. I fell victim to the pastry too so a cheese Danish to go. Employee was super cheerful and since it was late it wasnt at all crowded. The place is almost cavernous and deceptively large. I dont know what it’s like during lunch but im guessing the area gets crazy

Typical Panetta fare, but not quite up to snuff. Scones were a little stale, and service POOR… Slow, did not get order right at register, took forever to get the prepared food delivered to the table. I like Panetta in general and would give 3 stars to a standard location, and 4 to a good one. This location gets a 2 star rating today. I really like the location in the new shopping center, I hope the quality improves so I can come here more often

New and refined Panera Bread! The workers are fresh and very friendly! There are 3 – 4 cashiers working during busy hours. We get a monitor to see where your order is on the queue if the buzzer wasn’t enough There are comfortable seating for people that just want take it togo. Space for improvement — The line is wrapped around the bakery section but this makes it difficult when we are ordering and are offered a pastry for $ 0.99. We need to get through the line to see the pastries offered. Maybe the line doesn’t need to wrap around and just go from the center to outside the door? Not sure here. — The pickup area is a little quirky right now. Sometimes the buzzer doesn’t go off. Sometimes my food is ready and I’m not notified by number or buzzer.

Glad that it’s finally open. So far so good. It’s a small location compared to most Panera locations. I order online for the rapid pick up and my order is always ready when I pick up and so far has always been correct. The parking is a little tight in this area during busy times since there are several restaurants here but parking is not too bad cause you can always park in the Target parking area which is in the same shopping center if no parking is available in food area of the shopping center. Update: so my recent order they did mess up. They forgot to add the chicken to my Thai Chicken Salad. When I came back to report it they was very quick to fix my salad and add chicken plus they said they would refund my order.

Well they finally opened… and it’s not impressive so far. for starters, know that this is an extremely small location. if there are things you are used to finding at a Panera, you may not get them here. small offering of baked goods in my opinion. staff: omg they need to get it together. i went in mid-morning when it wasn’t at all busy. only 2 people other than me. they had at one point 6 people behind the counter, all tripping over each other trying to figure out what to do. it took quite awhile before anyone finally offered to help me. then it was just weird. i ordered a simple scone. the girl asked someone else to get it. that girl handed it to another girl, who then handed it to me. as soon as i got my hand on the bag, she snatched it back, deciding it was the wrong item. the cashier kept calling to her that it was the right item. she finally brought it back and handed it to me again. meanwhile, cashier took my money but didn’t give me change. then she has to hunt down the manager to open the register back up. it was a lot going on to get one pastry! the food: ok, so i finally get my scone. meh at best. it had a weird salty taste to it… not in a good way. it was soft and nice, but unpleasantly salty, especially in aftertaste. i wouldn’t get another one. parking: now that there are several food spots open in this small corner of the parking lot, parking is becoming more challenging during peak times. this isn’t helped by the fact the Panera employees take up the front row parking. tacky. overall, i don’t see this location being a winner.
