Slowest service and I travel all over the state. Also highest in getting orders wrong. Avoid this one. Go down the street to the other in San Ramon.

great location right across the street from my workplace. it doesn’t get too crowded in the morning or after lunch– the baristas are super efficient.

I’ve waited a long time to post because I visited many times before and several times AFTER my bad experience. I gave my order, and I sat down because a table was available. I set up my computer, books, etc. and never heard my name called. The manager and his staff were laughing and chatting it up in front of the area where finished drinks are, so I could not see my drink. After a few minutes, I decided to walk up and ask if the drink(I had never been able to see with the manager standing there) sitting there was mine. I did not see my name on the cup, so I figured they were too busy. No big deal. However, instead of a polite«yes» and clearing the way for me to get my drink, the manager(big guy) stayed standing in front of the area where I had to nearly touch his belly to reach for my drink. Worse, he quipped with an impolite tone that my name was called after I gave him a look for not respectfully moving away from the drink area. Super disappointed with his attitude because he wasn’t a young teen. I didn’t know of the Starbucks near Zachary Pizza, so I continued to visit this Starbucks and again and again, the workers are all business and really expect you to be the same. While I did not have another uncomfortable experience with the manager, it is clear to me that management is the reason the staff are less friendly. Working in SF, I can still get smiles and great customer service with Starbucks establishments, and if a drink sits there, names are called repeatedly despite the hustle and bustle. I have lived in San Ramon for over 15 years and will visit the other two Starbucks stores before this one any day! A personal example: the Nob Hill/Market Place Starbucks had young people come in and serenade a Starbucks worker one time I was there, and it was so nice to see the way those Starbucks’ workers interact with customers. It’s all about management in my opinion.

No bathroom. Hard to camp if you need to head out and around to get to the bathroom. Packed up and came back and my space was gone. Otherwise good stop with nice staff.

As usual, service is quick and on point. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone really have a complaint here. Anyways I tried out their new breakfast sandwich, the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Pretty damn buttery and tasty. Real bacon l too :). Though I like my bacon a little crisper, I understand the limitations of their cooking equipment too. A good alternative to the sausage breakfast sandwich I usually get on those cheat morning days :)

This Starbucks doesn’t have a bathroom. There is one all the way at the end of the entire complex. It’s fine if you are just there to drop in and grab a quick coffee, but if you are staying awhile or trying to get some work done, be prepared to have to grab your entire belongings and lose your spot, just to go to the bathroom.

I’m never disappointed at Starbucks. I got my usual frapp and this time included sweets. Yummy. The workers were pleasant and very cheerful. They got the orders, line and drinks out to customers efficiently. I like this location!

People need to understand who post on Unilocal that no establishment is 100% perfect, I work at a restaurant as well, everybody in life has a bad day from time to time, haven’t you? If someone does mess up your drink, go back and say something! They will fix it! It is called customer service, please do not blast it on Unilocal, that does nothing to fix the problem. Tell your issue to their face and not your iphone or computer, trust me they will fix it with a smile, no questions asked. Anyways, this is the best Starbucks in the area by far! I have been coming here with my wife for a few years now and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. We both work right by this location so I am here almost every day. The store is always clean, and most importantly they make their drinks consistent; it is always frustrating to go to a Starbucks and your drink doesn’t taste right but here no matter who makes it or what I get it always comes out right. Cody, Tu, Robert, Alex, Lynell, Allison, everybody is great. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time so it is long over due. Also, I appreciate that the chatter amongst the employees is quiet, they have respect for their customers that are relaxing in the store having their coffee. It is annoying when I go to other Starbucks and the employees are out of control loud and I can’t relax or focus on anything. I love this place, great job guys!

By far my most favorite Starbucks. Sometimes the line can be long, but the very friend baristas move quickly and efficiently. Drinks have always been made correctly.

I went in on halloween night and was charged $ 50 for a cup of coffee that cost $ 4.15. I am highly disappointed that it took 5 days to get my money back. My bank was no help whatsoever. The cashier kylie was stupid enough to key my order into one register and swipe my card for payment on the other register. I had to call the corporate office and make a formal complaint against the store manager and district manager. I finally got a refund for my money on 11⁄5. NO apology whatsoever. Rude service for the price you pay for their brand. I will not be returning to starbucks. From now on Peet’s coffee and tea will get my business.

We have about 6 nearby locations that we visit regularly and this one is by far the best. The staff is friendly and they always get my drink right. Always seems to be fully staffed so you don’t find long lines like you do elsewhere.

This is by far the best Starbucks in the area. I go every morning and they are lightening fast and get it right every time. They are always busy but they are so fast you are in and out in no time. Really nice staff too.

First off, let me say, I truly love Starbucks. That being said, this review is for one specific visit to this Starbucks, which I have been to many times. Yesterday, I went in to order a quick coffee and a pastry. I ordered a tall Pikes Place in a Grande cup as I need extra room for cream. Before I could complete my order by saying that I also wanted a syrup shot, the cashier turned and started to pour my coffee. I said, in a voice loud enough so he could hear me, «I would like a shot in that too, please.» He ignored me and then handed me my coffee. When I said I wasn’t done ordering and that I wanted syrup, he grabbed another cup(ummm… WHY?) put syrup in that, then poured my coffee into that cup. Okay, whatever… I also ordered the lemon loaf cake(Sooooo very excited they brought it back for awhile!) and the same idiot put it in the bag frosting side DOWN! Seriously? WTF? See my pic as to WHY that sucks so badly!
And to top it off, my boyfriend asked for the CHEWY Chocolate cookie because he likes soft cookies. The cookie was HARD and crunchy. Fail. Starbucks, you should really train your staff to THOROUGHLY assist their customers! And frosting side down? REALLY??? And by the way, they were NOT very busy at the time… ~~SMH~~

I typically don’t review a Starbucks, I mean why bother? But since this snazzy location is right across from where I work, I end up frequenting this location more than others and couldn’t be more happy with the staff, service and atmosphere. They recently remodeled this location and I like how they moved the sugar/milk and accouterments area off to the side so it’s not smack dab where everyone waits for their order(how it was situated previously.) This location provides a great mid-day respite for me, when I’m having a long day and is also convenient to stop at before work in the morning. Super friendly staff and they move the line along pretty quickly during the morning rushes. Definitely a good corporate spot… The Unilocal 100 Challenge-East Bay

This Starbucks isn’t as convenient as the other one less than a block away for me. But sometimes I am over here and sometimes I need some coffee. I have to say this Starbucks seems larger than normal and their food offerings were kind of extensive. I also got 2 Red Velvet cupcakes. I thought that the season for these was over but they had 2 and I bought them. It was the day before my 3 year wedding anniversary and these were going to be my treat for both of us. The cupcakes were moist and delicious like they should be. They were going through a shift change so the services was spotty it seemed because they were just getting into the swing of things. I have also met clients here for mini meetings. It’s not cramped at all even at some of the peak business hours. This place is alright I guess.
